Lovely hotel, very good location, very very clean and staff were pleasant. Our room was fine, not much space but adequate for our stay. Small balcony but poolside was lovely.Great entertainment staff Anna and Joanne were a good laugh and good at their jobs.Dinner was fine not great but you certainly wouldn't go hungry.Salads were lovely and fresh with plenty to choose from.Breakfasts were good, again you would not go hungry and resturant was spotless.Beds were fantastic with great pillows.....We would return...
We stayed in this hotel in May 2017.Upon arrival we checked in quickly and was able to go straight into our room, the pool area was always tidy and clean and Sunbed was easy to get. At our time of staying there more a lot more elderly people so it was always quiet and pleasant. The only thing we would say is the breakfast and dinner wasn't very nice, and there wasn't much for us to choose from we mostly had ham and cheese rolls and toast and scrambled egg. We ate a lot across the road at a place called Robin Hood and always had a lovely meal. This is highly recommended!
Have been to Salou many times and always fancied the Princess. All in all a very good hotel, very good location, excellent staff who were always there, but never obtrusive; never had to wait too long for a lift, food good, but not exceptional, the pool, or should I say lagoon, area definitely the best feature with plenty of sunbeds and all areas spotlessly clean. The "entertainment was, to say the least poor, the hallways are wooden which amplified every footfall and wheel noise of cases. Only one English TV channel, Sky news, which enforced my opinion of how bad it is, and why I never watch it at home. The Princess is rated at 4 stars, I would only rate it as a 3.The strong points for this hotel are the excellent staff and pool area.
Room clean and tidy , towels , hairdryer, fridge safe and TV provided , although not a single English channel . No iron or kettle although these can be provide at a small fee. Staff friendly and helpful , good ok but not much of a choice . Small but usable gym, pool small but adaqute .
This was our first ever package holiday to a hotel as we usually like to have our own villa on holiday. Like so many other people, I read all the reviews I could find before booking this hotel. We were there for a week on half board basis. Our room was 232 - we had requested a pool view room. It was perfect ! Lovely view, clean room and despite the reviews that mentioned the noise from the evening entertainment, we were never bothered once by any noise. Happily, we found this hotel to our liking and met a lot of other couples mainly from Belgium, France and Spain. The evening entertainment was good if you like ballroom style dancing however, it was good to sit and watch people enjoying themselves and expressing this through dance. All in all, we had a good experience and we will be returning to the Salou Princess.
