This hotel is close to town and has recently been re-furbished, the hotel caters for mainly fully inclusive guests and consequently, the dining room is busy but the quality and choice of food is amazing, we only had breakfast but there was something there for every taste, fresh and well prepared, even a glass of Cava if you wanted it, the only downside with this hotel for us was the very hard beds, they were new but we found them too hard to sleep on, otherwise we would have given this hotel 5 stars. If you're considering a stay in Salou consider somewhere else, Cambrils 5k down the road was a million times better, we re-visited Salou after first visiting it in the 80's I don't know if it's us and we were younger then but the resort has no character and is down at heel, but not cheap and very little Spanish charm.
Booked this hotel on booking.com 2 weeks before visiting after getting a cheap last minute flight. We payed for bed and breakfast for 3 nights, upon arriving at the hotel at lunch time, we had to wait an hour for the room to be ready which was absolutely fine. The room was 627, spacious, clean and had a great view of the pool area. The pool was also really clean however extremely cold, like below 0 degrees which is great in the hotter months, but in April it wasn't warm enough to swim in. There was also a hot tub, which although I understand this hotel is for all, I do believe the hot tub should be adults only as there was a lot of children messing around the area which made it unable to relax in. We needed an iron as we didn't bring out own, so to find out at reception that a fee of 10 euros would get you an iron for 3 nights at a 4 star hotel was very disappointing, with no ironing board offered, and it was a terrible iron! The wifi was great and worked all over the hotel which was a bonus, there is also a fridge in the room, great for stocking up on drinks and snacks. The bathroom shower was fantastic, very powerful and easy to use. The breakfast in the hotel was not up to 4 star standards, lots of choice in some areas such as pastries and fruit, but in terms of actual breakfast there was one type of sausage and it was a hot dog sausage. I find unless it's a children's birthday party, these aren't what I would pick as a breakfast sausage. All in all, the hotel was great value and in a really good location to shops, restaurants and the beach. The reason it didn't get 5 stars was down to the freezing pool, poor breakfast and none functional irons!
Stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter over the easter break. It is a really lovely clean hotel in an excellent position in Salou. 5 min walk to the promenade, beach, shops and restaurants. Staff all very nice, even with me not knowing any Spanish! The only downside to our stay was that there was a youth football tournament on at the same time and the hotel had a lot of the teams there. The boys were unsupervised quite a lot of the time and ended up breaking the hot tub which spoilt it for the other guests. Plus the older teams were sitting in the hallways making a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning. Not the hotels fault though. We had breakfast every morning and cant fault it, very generous amounts of food available and always were able to get a seat. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels provided when needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel, though would check before hand if there is any tournaments on!
First time in Salou and loved every minute! Hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Lovely outdoor area with a large pool and chill out area with a jacuzzi . Staff were exceptional so friendly and made you feel welcome. The location was 5 minute walk from the beach with plenty of clubs bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would defiantly return to the hotel and salou!
Stayed here from the 17th-24th July 2016. The hotel is fantastic, so close to everything. When we checked in the receptionist Sean was fantastic. We got a pool view room which was fantastic. Room was spotless and was cleaned everyday. We stayed bed and breakfast as we wanted to eat out everynight. When the pool opened there was a queue of people running for sunbeds. What we did was sit in and eat breakfast and when the doors opened we went out and got two sunloungers. Its very funny to watch them run for the beds from the balcony. Overall this hotel was fantastic and would stay here again. The bus stop right outside the door brings you to portaventura.
