I stayed here with my family and it was very nice. The breakfast buffet is the best i have ever seen in my life. There is everything there. They had easy access to ice, icebuckets cutlery and glasses. The hotel room was very nice and the bathroom wasnt to small. The beds were also nice
Ive stayed here twice now during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It's an easy ride into the city from here. Just walk from the hotel either to the train station (10 mins) or the main bus stop (15 mins) and for around euro5 you're in Barcelona. The hotel is always clean, the staff pleasant and the bar/restaurant seemingly good value for a hotel of this standard. There are a number of small local restaurants nearby serving down to earth traditional food at 'local' prices. I tried both and would go back to either again. For the record they are Can Xavi & Hostal Bonanza. If you wander down the street behind the hotel to the small marina (10 mins walk) then there are about a dozen small bars & restaurants along here offering a wide variety of food choice.
I have stayed at several Melia hotels in Spain and this is the nicest. Very comfortable rooms and nice beach. Room even had toothbrush and paste. Staff goes overboard to be helpful. Be sure to get the breakfast- quick and easy.
We happened to book this hotel as we loved Sitges and decided to stay the night while on a day trip. From check in to check out we loved everything about this hotel.Since we booked spontaneously and had no baggage it was a delight to see toothbrush ad toothpaste provided as well as a razor and shaving cream. The room was located looking out to the ocean and the views were wonderful to wake up to. The room was lovely and cool considering temperatures were in the high 20's. Everything in the room was immaculately clean and comfortable.Breakfast the next day was buffet style with a chef cooking fresh omelettes. The choice was vast and we feasted like kings. We can't wait to return for a week to really enjoy the full facilities of this wonderful hotel.
We have just got back from a generally enjoyable stay. However there are some shortcomings : The hotel is very large and something of a brutish edifice located a good 20 minute walk into the centre of town. The rooms are very modern and have excellent showers although there are no tea and coffee making facilities available. The air conditioning didn't seem to function and one of the reading lights was not functioning - to be fair we didn't bring this to the attention of staff until we checked out and we felt sure this would have been rectified. The last night was very disappointing as we are kept awake by a disco in the function room on the floor below our room (109) that went on until 4am - one would have thought we would have been allocated a room where this would not have disturbed us.Finally the Gym required an additional payment and hiring bikes was 16 euros each for the day this seemed quite high compared to prices offered elsewhere - one would expect such services to be included? or at least a more nominal sum should have been charged.
