Petit Palace Posada Del Peine
- What's Included
This hotel is located in the heart of the city center of Madrid. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast good and tasty and staff very very helpful always ready to answer all questions and help us with smile. Really thanks all in the lobby But, according to the value of money, I expected free coffee and water in the room, slippers and a small plate to put the soap in the bath after use and there were not.
Great location and family rooms available (sleeping 4-5 people). Very pleasant stay in a pretty busy pedestrian street in the center of Madrid. Service was amicable Breakfast was not memorable. Skip it and got to a cafe.
We were travelling in the group of 6 people (grand parents had double room and we had the family room for 4). Both rooms were clean, good beds and bathrooms. Double room had view to street, family room did not have view at all (very small inner coart). Service was EXCELLENT throughout our stay from reception to breakfast room and cleaning. Always with smile, really helpful and nice! This made our stay great! Breakfast is also excellent and good valu for money (11€ for adults and half the price for kids). And the location is as much in city center as one could wish! They also provide MiFi (Madrid wifi) and our teenagers really enjoyed being online everywhere in city and museums
Excellent hotel in the centre of Madrid, just about walking distance from all the major attractions and in a pedestrian area full of bars, restaurants and boutiques. The staff, especially Esther, couldn't have been more helpful, anything one asked was responded with immediate attention, tickets, tourist info etc.etc.Our room was as described, a small double, but more than adequate for our one night stay. We had no view from the window (inner courtyard?) but it was quiet and I guess in high season there might be a lot of noise at the front at night. Taxis are unable to stop right outside the door but it's only a couple of minutes walk to the entrance. And the metro is close by.Excellent beds and very smooth feeling bed linen plus handy individual lights for reading in bed. The Wifi was excellent. Tea and coffee making facilities avaiable in the room and also in the foyer. Plus a mini bar. Breakfast was the usual buffet selection with hot food. First time I've experienced a hotel with an industrial grade Nespresso machine in the dining room, goes without saying the coffee was very good! Take note other hoteliers!Didn't need them but there were bikes and Ipads available and also a daily, free, guided walking tour of the area. Pity I had no time to do this, next time. This was my first visit to Madrid (why did it take me so long?) the atmosphere was just so relaxed and friendly, wonderful place that should be on every ones bucket list!
Loved the clean tidy rooms. Location was the best feature of this hotel. Service was adequate. Breakfast was yummy... spinach and beet juice....nice touch!!! Will stay here again.Negative: Noisy until 3 am, then again at 5 am, little sleep. Wasn't informed of Easter procession or times and location (whole area was blocked). I couldn't get back to the hotel after my dinner and show. Had no idea when it was going to end. Finally got to hotel late...also stayed and watched procession.I realize I could have asked but also important for hotels to inform clients.
