Our first visit to this resort and hotel. We arrived just before 10pm so quite late. As soon as we checked in the receptionist kindly hurried us into the restaurant which was about to close and I have to say the food, despite it being at the end of service was really good. It was themed each evening and Friday was 'street food'. I have to say although the food each evening was very good, Friday remains our favourite. After the meal we went to our room. We had paid extra for a deluxe room. These are much larger than a standard double and well worth the extra cost. However ours had a distinct smell of smoke. Not really the hotels fault but clearly a previous guest who probably thought it was okay and no one would notice! As there were no deluxe rooms until the following day we were placed in a standard double. These rooms are perfectly fine but we hoped to move the next morning. As it was we were unable to move until the following afternoon. Not great as we had to unpack a little, pack up again and were advised they would put our cases in the new room whilst we were out. We really had to go out for most of the day as we had no room to use during this time. The new room actually had a much better view over the roof terrace, rather than the car park but it would have been nice to have had a bottle of wine or some sort of gesture for our inconvenience - nothing! After all we were only there for 7 daysMoving on....the staff worked really hard at the reception and in the restaurant! Always did their best to please the guests so thank you all for that. There were always beds around the pool when we went although I have noticed other reviews which said there were not. We were there at the end of August and it was fine. Some of the hotel views were not great as they overlooked the road or car park. Pool and roof terrace are the best so perhaps best to ask for those if you can. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the marina and we hired bikes from the hotel one day and cycles to the marina at Peurto Banus and on to Marbella which is actually quite safe as you can cycle almost all the way along the sea front. Cycle hire at the hotel was around 12 euros for the day which we thought was excellent value as we took them out again in the evening too.I would certainly return to this hotel and would select a deluxe room again. The facilities are excellent, food is good, there is a fridge in the room, good air con, free wifi and lots of English to channels too!Well done H10 hopefully we will return soonOne thing I would recommend if travelling with Jet2 - if you arrive later in the day as we did, book a private transfer as it just took too long to get to this hotel with all the drop offs along the way.
Lovely hotel, good food, friendly staff, clean and modern. Our bedroom was a good size although the bathroom was quite small. No drawers in the room but a couple of shelves. We were there in October, a bit out of season, and there were several corporate events on with upwards of 150 delegates. They seemed to take over some of the public areas at times but on the flip side weren't really interested in getting sun beds. Perhaps just our room, which was on the first floor, but we could hear the music from their event and on our last night, this went on until around 3am. Hotel's own entertainment finished at midnight, so no probs with that. Also at that time of the year, sun late in getting to one side of the pool, left the other side early and the bit at the back on and off due to the trees.I did think food was very good but if you're there more than a week, also very repetitive, as was the entertainment. The hotel has a subterranean walkway to the beach and then you can go on the boardwalk to Puerto Banus and the marina in about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively you can go via the road but its a steep slope down and back, so either way not ideal if you have mobility problems.
Our first time at Andalucia Plaza but have stayed in H10 before and this hotel did not disappoint! On arrival the Reception staff although very busy maintained a very friendly approach and dealt with us very efficiently. Our Deluxe room was exceptionally spacious and the walk-in shower nicely powerful - only slight disappointment was our balcony overlooked the street! However, although close to road we were not disturbed by any noise.Restaurant staff always pleasant and attentive; food - could always find something we liked although by the end of the week the choice of desserts was rather repetitive. Communal areas - bars and pool were always very clean. The best recommendation we feel is the fact that all the guests we met during our week at the Andalucia Plaza had stayed there 3 or 4 times before!Thank you H10 Andalucia Plaza staff we so enjoyed our stay with you and hopefully will come back soon.
Visited for the third time a few weeks ago and it has got even better. The last two visits we have upgraded to "Privilege " Last time we were allowed one evening meal at the new Brasserie but now you can take every meal there ( except for Sunday and Monday when it is closed) You can also take breakfast there every day. The food and service in the Brasserie is Fantastic. The room was very spacious with a pool view and welcome chocolates upon arrival, my H10 membership gave a free cocktail for my partner and I. Great Hotel and Friendly Professional Staff, look forward to returning time and time again.
I’ve never stayed at an H10 before and also never in a hotel on the ‘wrong’ side of the motorway in Banus but this was a great find. Big, bright and spacious and the rooms were lovely - with a view of the pool and sea. The bars serve the cheapest drinks I’ve had in any Puerto Banus hotel. There’s a nightly ‘turn’ in the inside lounge but you can sit in the outside balconies if you don’t fancy listening. The breakfast is good but the bread and croissants were dry and tasteless each day. There’s a big selection for meat eaters and the restaurant is modern and the service is swift. There’s a tunnel to get safely to the other side of the motorway and the beach is less than 10 minutes walk away. There’s a good beach bar - Tramp, which I can also recommend.Remember to take hair conditioner as there isn’t any in the bathroom. Good air-con and lots of UK TV channels. There’s a lot of bars and restaurants in front of the entrance and a supermarket.Very friendly female bar staff but the male bar staff were grumpy.
