H10 Andalucia Plaza

This is the 14th year with a few friends in P.B. Have tried a number of hotels but always return to the Andalucia Plaza. Best value for money hotel in the area. It gets better each year with excellent rooms, really good quality and selection of food, friendly helpful service and a short 10 min walk to the Port. Will certainly be back next year.
We checked in as overnight guests to H10 Marbella on Sunday afternoon having to catch an early flight from Malaga on Monday and having spent a week previously enjoying the beauty and the friendly people of Vejer De La Frontera.First off... we had booked a double room, we were allocated a room with 2 single beds! We let it go, we thought we're just here for a night. But I have to write this negative review having just had the most mortifying experience whilst staying at H10 Marbella because of their 'illegal' spend policy. It was 3pm. We had our lunch while travelling to Marbella at noon... so while at the pool we decided to visit the pool bar and order 2 drinks and I requested a portion of fries... the waitress then exclaimed 'This order is not possible, it is too cheap' I said, excuse me? & I asked her why the order of 1 orange juice, 1 large beer and a portion of fries was not possible but she would not repeat what she had just said.We stood up to leave again asking her again why and she said 'it is policy and to speak with the manager......A public policy can only be enforced if it is published. I want to know where is this policy published? It is not on the menu, not on any signage ... what happens if your guest happens to be a diabetic ... would you rather call an ambulance?Out of being embarrassed by your staff we left the pool bar, we will never return. What a way to treat your guests, this is the worst hospitality experience I've encountered. I have no issues with minimum spend policies but for a public policy to be enforced the public must be informed of the policy prior to entering a contract 'i.e. It should be published on the menu. So get professional and do so! Signing off annoyed and unnecessarily embarrassed by your rude staff and unpublished policy.
Good value for money, for a few days away. Good options for gluten free at breakfast time. Could do with some music around the pool as you can hear the motorway traffic. The only down side us having to use the underpass to get to the beach and port.
Luxurious hotel. Huge pool area swarming with families and people and there's a bit of a bun fight for loungers. Lovely pool side drinks and so on and you're not a long walk in to the old town. After dark the hotel bar was like a ghost town, but all in all, pretty good and good value.
The hotel looks great when you walk in, but the rooms are small and not cozy. Staff is rude. I do not recommend this hotel . The balconies are barley separated from one another , and you can hear your neighbor all night . Walls are super thin, , and the restaurant was absolutey disgusting. The manager had sent me cold pasta , which was hard and tasted horribly , when I Called to have the food picked up he had hung up the phone , do not stay here !!!!
