This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in .... me my husband and 2 children 2 & 4 stayed here half bored for 10 nights and it was a complete disaster from the moment we got here! We checked in and came yo to our apartment on the 3rd floor .. very basic & we had no pillows. We rang to reception and asked to have some brought up the staff were very rude and still nothing was done so we spent our first night sleeping without pillows ... we went down to the restaurant for somethink to eat and I couldn't beleave my eyes! It was all cold and no choice just very standered chips and rice .. vegetables which wernt even cooked and hard bread rolls which seemed to be left out since breakfast... the pool is ok but not clean water very cloudy and bits floating in the water, it was disgusting. This hotel says it has kids club and it does not what so ever, during the evening it was very boring as nothing to do or no entertainment was very disappointed to say the least, the maids that clean the room do a cheap job floor not swept or moped no clean towels! All the staff are rude, you would be better off going self catering as it's what me and my family have had to do as the food is just so bad and not enjoyable! They served vegetables and rice for breakfast? I couldn't actually beleave I had picked such a bad hotel .. it really was a disaster that went from bad to worse ! Will most def not be returning to this hotel, No way a 4* I would say a 2* at a push ... please don't be fooled spend extra money on somethink much better !
Where to start ? Firstly it was our first time visit of Spain I am very disappointed as Spanish people were rude, couldn't speak English and couldn't find Spanish food only BRITISH... Staff - rude most of them, honestly there were only 2 nice people Bartender Iranian girl and nice Guy - made food near poolWe had half board, dinner you have to pay for drinks extra. They don't even serve ice cram ...Their food damage my stomach and I still didn't get better. My daughter ate only toast and chips as food wasn't very tasty. We stayed 8 nights and during this period we didn't get anything Spanish, all food was British, eggs, bacon , fries, Waitresses served us shouting " YES" I nearly got heart attack first day.Pool - my partner cut his foot in baby pool and my daughter cut her leg in main pool. Baby pool was very dirty 2 days with cups, fags, papers inside. When we said he cut his foot they haven't even apologise instead of apologise they told us off for eating our crisps we bought somewhere else. You r not allowed to bring own drink or food near pool. Fire hydrants are very dangerous there as you can hit it easily with the body pic attached or child can have serious head injury.Rooms - ok however many clients where complaining. Hotel was full of British tourist.Very disappointed that hotel allowing to book the rooms for big group of British guys. We all had issues with big group of British Guys who just came for 3 days just to get drunk. They verbally attacked us and they made such a mess In hotel and in pool. They were swearing and taking off their swimwear in a pool front of kids and all guest. Many people took their kids and left pool side. Hotel is next to supermarket and Burger King, and few mins from the nice beach.Hotel is near bus stop so u can get easily to Malaga, Marbella. I wasn't impressed at all and I won't go back to Costa del Sol for sure. Maybe just because of my very bad experience, surely can't judge all Spanish and whole Spain but my experience was bad and expectations high. It's quite expensive too... I wouldn't pay for this holiday ( hotel ) more than £100 pw pp for me big dissatisfaction as I was so much looking forward to this holiday.
Do not be fooled by 4 star rating. Rooms not of an appropriate standard, the staff were unhelpful and not at all friendly when I had to complain about a few issues with the accommodation (which I had to do so 3 x times).
Very underwhelmed by this hotel , we stayed on a half board basis and the food was fine . The rooms were clean but old fashioned with curtains hanging off the rail , the hotel is quite dated and in need of a refurb and update . The tables and chairs on the balconies are white plastic and very grubby and dirty . The sun loungers round the pool are grubby and uncomfortable. This is no way a 4 star hotel . It's on a hill but close to a lovely beach . If you're looking for cheap and cheerful this is for you .
Recently stayed here for 5 days - this is most definitely not a 4* hotel - the room 513 was to the front of the building - facing it there is a huge tree mostly overgrown which is such a pity that part could have been trimmed at the top as you would have had a stunning view every morning of the ocean - the hotel is on top of a very steep hill & reception staff surely should have a duty of care to visitors to inform them that if you take the lift to the very bottom - i think from memory it has 'P' on the lift buttons this takes you down to underground garage & a flat walk out the side entrance - i have asthma & back operations so i struggled for 4 days with this hill until i saw visitors coming out the 'side gate' - so if your disabled/young children/ any health issues use this - RECEPTION NEVER MENTIONED IT - the apartment was basic & clean although table on balcony broken & cigarette burns...had a seperate bedroom ....there is no wifi unless down at the bar area ...the hotel is definitely in need of makeover - fresh paint needed on the outside - there was a lovely area you see in the brochures with the fountain but this is broken - all the artifical flowers are horrendous & for a 4* surely on arriving a beautiful display or fresh flowers would be more inviting ( im not a flower person but presentation on arrival is where you make 1st impression) Also it is very confusing as when you arrive reception is on the 4th floor, the bar and dining area is on the 3rd floor and rooms seem to be above the 4th ..not sure why people are still allowed to smoke in the rooms as it smells throughout - only one tall guy at reception was helpful , the lady always seem to be in a mood & the guy on night shift we asked for a wake up call at 5.20am to go on a trip to Morrocco which was put in a book but yet no call came thank god i am not a heavy sleeper lol & when i approached the issue he just looked at me - i then i complained to day reception & it was to be looked into (not much use) just as well i wasnt going to the airport... the bar food on brochure looks lovely & i asked for a pizza but shocked to see if was a frozen one which was given to me it was disgusting - we also went for dinner one of the nights it was i think 10 euro each - again horrendous - very little selection & we went at the start of the evening - when it came to desserts it was small pieces of cake & creamed rice - the man on the dining area wasnt helpful at all even rude when asking for food - so we didnt go back - when we were leaving i tried to pay extra but told i couldnt stay in the room as they wer full - the baggage room again horrendous & disorganized, christmas decorations lying about , on the corridor information leaflets around the place - should it be reception staff etc Clean it up - people leaving luggage left lying e'where staff not concerned at all - sometimes i found myself and others leavng reception after 10mins while they remained on phone - i honestly felt we were all an inconvenience to them - Entertainment also poor some dancer etc comes different nights - Older man working in the bar area was lovely and very helpful - most staff do not look happy- on observation very little for children - beach close by - Bellanmadena it self is a nice area - plenty of seating along sea front if you struggle walking long distances - we took a day trip to Morrocco - when looking for day trips make sure you check the various offers as the 1st place near mcdonalds was charging 65 euro each for the trip but when we walked further up near Triton Hotel we got our trip for 47euro - which inc transfers & 3 course meal in a Morroccan restaurant - overall enjoyed stay but would choose a different hotel ...
