My husband and I spend 10 nights here when we went to Spain for a nice romantic getaway. This hotel is amazing in all ways. The rooms are very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was big and had a nice view over the sea and poolarea. All members of the staff are professional and gives you the best of service. The breakfast buffe are the most amazing I've ever seen. They have everyting you can wish for and more, even champagne 😊 and a chef who cooks omelets by choice. The bar is very intimate and has a nice atmosphere to it, very good cocktails and snacks. We spend some time in the spa area, truly worth a visit. Sauna, massage showers and a nice saltwater pool.My husband and I use this hotel as a reference when we travel. We will come back for sure!
We booked a Classic sea view room on half board basis for 8 nights in early January. We were greeted by a very willing porter on arrival who directed us to reception, We were welcomed and checked in with minimum fuss and given immediate access to our room, despite arriving nearly 2 hours early. We were told of the various room and service upgrades available to us for a supplement, but we were more than happy with the choice we made. The hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment of Block A, which was closed until March 2017. There is an upgrade from carpeted rooms with bath/shower to rooms with a wooden laminate floor and a walk-in shower bathroom. These are called De Luxe rooms and come at a supplement. You can then add a further upgrade to 'The Level', a service that gives you access to a special lounge, snacks, some drinks and other extras. There are also Junior Suites. Our room, 477, was on the 4th floor of Block B. It was carpeted, beautifully furnished, if a little old fashioned, with the most comfortable beds we've ever had on holiday. There was a lockable mini-bar/fridge and a free room safe with electronic combination lock. It had a full bathroom with shower/bath combination and a lovely glass shower screen, rather than the awful curtain arrangement. There was always plenty of hot water, a full range of toiletries that were replenished as required and the largest bath sheets I have ever encountered. They were great! We found the staff to be exceptionally polite, considerate and helpful. Truly, nothing was a problem. The food served in the dining room was delicious. Everything from the range of breads, hams, cheeses, pates, salads, fish and meat dishes through to fresh fruits, ice creams and desserts. Continental or full cooked breakfasts were available every morning until 11:00am, with fresh fried eggs or the most delicious omelettes made to order. I have never had a better breakfast choice anywhere. Evening meals were also fantastic with so much variety on offer that one was spoiled for choice. The hotel is built in two blocks with the sun terraces and swimming pool between them. Due to the layout the pool area loses the sun by about 2:30pm, but with a fabulous beach opposite, who cares? There is also a spa with heated pool etc. Cost is currently €19 each and a swim cap is mandatory. A small gym is available for free but gym kit and shoes must be worn. The other obvious beauty of this hotel is its proximity to the beach and promenade. Take a stroll in either direction along the promenade and there are plenty of seats, little shops and bars to investigate as well as the superb sea views. We enjoyed walking through to Benalmadena marina and back on a couple of occasions. Just a short walk away is the lift to town. At 50 cents one way it is a great way to aviod the uphill climb! The hotel does have a lift of its own, however it only operates mid May to mid October. Once in town the costal train is available for journeys to Fuengirola or Malaga. Would we stay here again? Oh Yes! We met a lot of people who go here several times a year and wouldn't go anywhere else. Speaks for itself really.
we stayed 3 nights while in Torremolinoshalf the property was undergoing renovations=didn't affect us at allnot bothersome-in another wing/sectionhotel was fine-directly across from the beach, near enough to the shopping-paid to take the elevator up [¬ do 400 steps] cost 50cents per person each wayhave to walk across lobby to get to restaurants-nice buffet breakfasteuropean tubs/showers [tall & narrow] but did have grab barsquiet during the off season
Restaurant can be noisy & very busy on nights when coach parties are catered for, any time avoiding 7/30 -8/30 are generally sublime. If you are looking for lively night entertainment this hotel is not for you! however if you want a good 4 star quality "quiet" Hotel this is one of the best in the location
A great hotel on the seafront. Ideal quiet location on the beach front but close to the town, linked by lifts and a pleasant set of steps lined by pleasant bars and shopsThe hotel has an excellent buffet restaurant. Well worth paying the bit extra for half board. Staff are excellent. Will definitely stay here again.
