Had a Saturday night stay here and read the reviews before we went. It's a new lgbt hotel which is a long overdue establishment in Torremolinos and we wish them well.We stayed in a superior room and it was basically 2 rooms with bedroom with a HUGE bed, really hard mattress which is great, and a kitchen with hob, microwave, full sized fridge and then a separate shower room with the fiercest shower we've ever encountered!BUT........As previous reviews have stated, the curtains in the bedroom didn't meet in the middle by a long way!Even though there was a kitchen, all the cupboards were empty- nothing- no plates, cups, cutlery, kettle, nothing there at all so what's the point of a kitchen if you can't use it!!Room for a sofa in there too but there isn't-there's a tv on a long table..... and 1 chair! So if you want to watch tv 1 of you will have to sit on the floor 😄I know the hotel reads and responds to these reviews so I don't understand why they don't act on them too!!Our main reason for booking was to use the nude area on the roof. Comfiest beanbags for sunbathing on ever, and a lovely small pool, however the Saturday we were there they were having a party up there so everyone had to put clothes on at 4pm.We weren't impressed because we didnt get there til 3pm and had hoped to stay til 8ish.What really annoyed us is that they didn't provide another area for us nudies to go to.In the basement is a really nice spa which is free for guests but closes way too early at 8pm in the summer. If the hotel acts on the reviews it would definitely be worthy of 5 stars and yes, we will go back again but would probably go for a standard room.
This hotel has just recently reopened as a mainly gay hotel. The staff were very welcoming. The hotel itself is in a great position and from high looks out across the sea; it´s also a short walking distance from the town centre. The pool is large and the sunbathing area well kept. There were a few teething problems; having booked a twin room we were allocated a double, we asked to change, were again given a double, finally third time lucky we got one with twin beds, a sea view (which they said they didn't have) and on the 8th floor which had awesome views and a large balcony. We were also invited to use the roof top pool which was quite beautiful with an infinity pool. It has been designated as a nudist area which is great for the all over tan. This is really my concern here; i´m all for naked sunbathing and have a very open mind, however there were several guests who thought it was OK to have sex on the terrace which I complained to the waiter about (do it in your room, a club/bar etc but not when I´m having a beer in a public area) who said it was difficult to control. I found that a weak excuse when it should be clearly advertised not to allow that to happen - there´s a time and a place for everything. Sort out the sex on the terrace and room allocation and it should get it´s operation in order!
This hotel is clean and modern with a nice pool area.It still has a few teething problems but nothing major, the superior room we had was spacious, it had a large empty area that's crying out for a sofa. The small new kitchen area has no utensils at all.? Maybe they are still to come otherwise what's the point.Receptionists were friendly, The rooftop area has some amazing views, and an infinity pool, however because it's a naked area we were asked to remove our clothes, so we left and went to the main pool.
Room 505:Breakfast was mediocre.. Staff had no understanding of customer service.. The hotel was still being built during my stay.. 'Do not disturb' signs and drinking glasses were not made available until the third day of my stay.. The walls between rooms were paper thin in addition to which there were sealed dividing doors which allowed additional sounds to be heard from the neighbouring room.. The TV was not tuned in to stations; I had to do it myself.. There was a kitchen area available in the room comprising a fridge, small oven and electric hob, which I was told I mustn't use. Regardless of this, I bought a cheap kettle from a local store for EUR7.50 and made my own tea.. The air conditioning was good while it was on after being activated by the cardkey but after a number of hours, it turned itself off even though the cardkey was still inserted. This resulted in a partly uncomfortable sleeping situation during the hot nights.. While there were service elevators available, the on-site builders used the guest elevators leaving a trail of dust on the floors and hallways. This also slowed down the process of guests wanting to use the elevators.. Some rooms had heavy curtains that did not fully cover the large windows. If you needed a fully-darkened room then eye shades would have been necessary.. The advertised facilities were not ready.. The hotel is advertised as both a gay hotel and adults only. Which is it to be? I'm all for integration so I had no problem with heterosexual couples being there but the hotel should be factually correct in who its target audience is. The most important thing was that there were no children there.. I paid my bill upon arrival and when I handed in my card-key on my day of departure, the receptionist was unsure about this. He asked me if I wanted a printed bill, which was given to me during check in. I left him without him asking me how my stay was or even a 'Goodbye
Roof top pool and sun area not open. My room has curtains but they don't meet. Awake with first light. TV does not justify waste of remote batteries. 6 channels. 5 German one euro news. Waste of time. Painting and work going on everywhere. They should have stayed shut and fixed it up properly. They still charge full rate for a half finished hotel. Maybe good in a month but not now.
