Stayed in Zurich for 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, eggs, smoked salmon, breads and cheeses to choose from. The rooms while not modern were pretty comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean, but could use an upgrade. Loved the little rubber duck. The food at mishio was good, however it was closed on Sunday. The location was outstanding, next door is Jemoli for shopping and the major shopping areas nearby. I recommend this hotel for anyone who would be out and about in zurich. Discounts on the spa and gym offered
Stayed at Hotel Seidenhof for a business trip for a night and I really liked the central location of the hotel. It's basically in the heart of the city.Breakfast buffet offers a decent variety of cheeses, Salami, breads, Yoghurts, etc. decided to have breakfast outside at the terrace and was amazed about the quiet, calm and cosy place. The room itself was small but well cleaned. The bed was firm but not too firm. Bathroom was very small and I expect big people (above 100kg) having issues moving or showering. If you are looking for a hotel with a central location at a fair price (for Zurich), look no further.
located within city center - directly at Bahnhofstraße; 5 walking mins away from central station; breakfast buffet was rich and stuff was polite and attentive; the room was modern styled but should be renovated; very quiet
The location seems to be hotels strongest selling point. Since the hotel placed itself in the 3 star category there was not much to expect in the first place. The rooms and bathroom were clean and the room quite well equipped. The breakfast was kind of nice. There was enough choice for everyone in the family and the coffee was very good. The bed was a bit of problem for me as it was really too soft. I didn't approach the management to solve this issue so I'm not really sure if it can be rectified or not. The biggest problem was the air conditioning. They apparently shut down the air conditioning during winter and u have to sleep with the windows open if u want some cool air. Unfortunately we visited at the end of the winter and it was about 18 degrees during the day in Zurich. The rooms were hot and stuffy at night and we had to leave the windows open to have a comfortable temperature in the room. The noise from the street was very disturbing specially during weekend nights and during the mornings. This hotel wasn't cheap and I really fail to understand why guests can't choose the temperature they would like to sleep in. I'm sure a lot of people have different preferences. If the hotel was a cheap hotel I would totally understand. But at 300 CHF a night I would expect my room temperature at my choice.
Nice locations. Frendly staff. Very good for short business trip. Access to the main train station was acceptable. Internet connection is simple and stability. I can recommend this hotel to my friends.
