So superior!! Far beyond on our expectations!!we will make this a destination for next year again. The food was excellent and the staff was unbelievable everything from housekeeping to the beach staff and information for the island !! We have no complaints for once about a place we have stayed
Our stay ar RWI began with fast and friendly check-in and continued flawlessly until five days later on checkout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A number of tours were booked and all met our expectations. The food was delicious at the Pelican Bay restaurant as were the cocktails at the bar. The rooms were very comfortable and the wifi signal was strong whether at the room or at the beach. The star of the resort is the beach at Grace Bay. RWI beach is located almost exactly in the middle of this beautiful bay. The water was crystal clear and the temperature perfect. RWI is about a fiftenn minute walk from shopping anf restaurants and has bicycles free of charge for guest use. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this boutique resort! Thank you!
Quiet and comfortable Hotel. The food selection is limited but the restaurant and bar is enough to enjoy for 3 days. After that i became bored of the same place. Front desk ladies were hospitable and helped me secure transportation around town. The complimentary bikes are a plus and easy access to the beach.
This was an absolutely beautiful hotel. There were so many choices that I could not pick. After a lot of back and forth, I went with this hotel because it was reasonably prices, was located on the beach and had free bikes. I made the right choice. The room was on the ground floor, spacious and full of light which could be completely darkened. It had nice air conditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a refrigerator and microwave. No stove or oven but I do not like cooking on vacation. The bathroom was large with a senior safe tub with good water pressure. The hotel participates environment friendly practices, very important to me. There is a long walk to a wonderful grocery store that has everything one could need. Save on meals and get a few there! Food is wonderful and the grounds are amazingly manicured. You feel like you are really in paradise with gorgeous palm trees and plants. They are arranged for maximum privacy. There is a quiet pool that is indeed very quiet and another pool near the restaurant and bar. Both are fantastic. Easy two minute walk to beach that is as gorgeous as all of the hype. I've been to many, many beaches and the color of the water and the long sweeping white sand is a sight to behold.I traveled alone for a break from the city but this spot is made for couples and families. I went during the slow season in August and practically had the amazing beach to myself. Plenty of nightlife but most is a taxi ride away from $10-$40. I preferred to stay in the resort but did dance and have drinks one night. Gansevort has a nice bar and Coco Van is a must. Great food with wonderful outdoor evening atmosphere.I took the snorkeling half day trip. Unfortunately, it rained and was cloudy so I was not impressed at all by the reef or the fish. I've been to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and had a similar experience on a grey day. However, I also visited the Fire Reef in Belize and that would be a hard act to follow. Absolutely the best snorkeling I have ever had. Maybe Turks was a bad day but I was not impressed. If I were them, I'd find a better spot. If you want to party with friends, the half day which includes drinks and lunch will be a blast. For the seasoned snorkeler, get a private tour for $350-$750. I know expensive. The staff is amazing. Hazel in charge of the grounds really takes pride in what she does and it shows. Derrick is perfectly charming at the restaurant and Beautiful at the front desk was extremely helpful. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and are there to make your trip special.I will definitely be back but next time with friends. Simply an amazing experience.
We (my husband, our 1-yr old and me) traveled to Turks & Caicos with my friend. We chose the two-bedroom suite with an ocean view and ended up in rooms 221 and 222. The arrangement was perfect because the rooms shared a small foyer, but were then each individual rooms so that my friend didn't have to deal with the baby chaos. Her room (a studio suite) had a nice balcony, large bed, decent sized bathroom, plus a fridge/freezer, sink and toaster, plus some dishes and basic kitchen stuff. Our room, a one-bedroom suite (221) had a large balcony that wrapped around to the side, a full kitchen (stove, oven, full sized fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher), a separate bedroom, and a decent sized bath. If anything, the bathtub was too deep for giving the 1yr-old baths! The rooms were very clean and were pretty up-to-date with the furnishings and interior. Our maid was super responsive and kindly worked around us since the little one always seemed to need to nap or eat right at cleaning time. Our bed was definitely on the firm side, but we still slept well.I thought the grounds were beautiful! Very lush, with tons of flowers. We saw people maintaining the grounds constantly, and the pools were also very clean and tidy. We ate at the restaurant on site twice - once when we first got there since it was late at night (9ish) and then for the lobster night. Everyone was nice, and the hostess even came and took our little one for a walk when she was being particularly fussy while we were eating! The gentlemen at the beach activities stand were very nice, and Eddie was incredibly helpful on the days when I was the first one to the beach, with all of the bags and the baby! The only downside was that the receptionist when we checked in wasn't very helpful. She was very nice and I think young, so it may just have been that we were rather tired from traveling all day and weren't being as warm and welcoming ourselves. If I had a magic wand, I'd add a coffee/snack/cocktail bar closer to the beach,I would go back in a heartbeat!
