Seven Stars Resort
- What's Included
My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary here. It was our first visit to Turks and Caicos and certainly won't be our last. We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and have never seen beaches and water as beautiful as those here. The hotel was very nice, with extraordinary service. Everyone at the hotel was dedicated to making sure your stay was amazing. We stayed in an Oceanview Junior Suite and were very comfortable and had amazing views! The breakfasts here were included and were wonderful. The island as a whole is pricey.... expect to spend a lot for food at most all of the restaurants! Well worth the cost though!
My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this magnificent hotel two weeks ago. We loved every moment. Our room was beautiful, spacious with a wonderful view of the ocean. The king size bed was comfortable and provided for a delicious peaceful sleep. The breakfast was unlike any other place we have ever stayed at, plentiful, and delicious. Everyday we tried something different and we still did not get to try everything that was available. The staff was friendly, warm and very helpful. The beach is clean, white and breathtaking. I want to shout out particularly to Brandis at the Deck restaurant, who could not have been more warm and caring. I also want to send special thanks to Ina and Edwina in the spa. Ina, with her magic fingers gave me one of the best massages ever, and Edwina did give me the best facial I have ever gotten in my life. This hotel is expensive, and is well worth every penny. If you are looking for a blissful experience, 7 Stars meets its namesake.
This is our 3rd year in a row to go to Turks & Caicos and to stay at the Seven Stars Resort. I must say it gets better each year!! It was my wife, 2 teenage girls and myself who stayed there and we always get the 2 bedroom ocean front suite. It has almost 2,200 square feet, a large balcony and a magnificent view of the best water in the Caribbean. While it is a bit pricey, it is worth it because it keeps a lot of the hard core party animals away. We always get a suite on the 5th or 6th floor to get the most out of the ocean view. The staff is amazing and always helpful. A special thanks to Ronald, Lila and Don at the beach/pool as well as Beatrice in Seven for breakfast. They are so awesome and attentive to your every need and they have become family to us. I wouldn't stay any other place on the island and highly recommend it to anyone considering going. Each year we talk to first time visitors and they are all blown away with the magnificence of T&C, the beautiful water and especially Seven Stars Resort. We've been to many other Caribbean islands and T&C is by far our favorite. We love it so much, we actually started looking at properties there this year, but nothing is available at Seven Stars for purchase. Guess we will hold tight until the perfect suite is available there.
Got to the hotel and they checked us in to our room. We had paid for a suite with a living area, kitchen, and king bed. They tried to put us in a room with one King bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds (no living area). The front desk manager stated that they did not have the room we had booked. Instead they gave us a downgrade. They offered to give us an upgrade for $150 dollars per night. We were in the check in process for two hours and spoke to everyone from the front desk manager to the general hotel manager just to try to get what we had originally paid for. The front desk manager came across as someone who simply did not care about our concerns and the General Manager was even worst! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This experience has tarnished our impression of such a beautiful place forever. We finally, after much negotiation got the room that we paid for (worst than buying a car). By no means worse the aggregation !
The Seven Stars hotel redefined elegance and comfort on this trip. The room was amazing with a view straight out of a movie. We were spoiled by a friendly but not phony staff - genuinely interested in exceeding our expectations. The food was fantastic, more "local cooking" than artificial hotel food and the drinks were good enough to convince me that I had rhythm and could dance. This atmosphere was clearly felt by every guest as the entire place was in a good mood. I have sent a dozen friends recommendations that the Seven Stars be put immediately on their "Bucket Lists" and plan to go back as soon as possible.
