Seven Stars Resort
- What's Included
My wife and I are in for a long weekend, and unfortunately leaving tmw. I can't say enough good things about this place. Immaculately clean, great staff, excellent food, and the service is amazing. We are staying in an ocean view 1BR, and it's gorgeous. Thx Seven Stars. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed for a week in January 2017 for our honeymoon. Seven Stars service is absolutely outstanding! We were able to plan excursions before we even arrived. The concierge staff responds quickly and is very accommodating. We had the perfect first night and day, paddle boarding off the beach and enjoying cocktails and lunch service. But then the winds came!! 30 mph wind the next five days made doing water sports or swimming impossible in Grace Bay and you know what the staff at Seven Stars did?? They shuttled us to the other side of the island, Taylor Bay Beach, where they set up a make shift beach service! We were able to kayak and swim and the beach was secluded and quiet! it was also fun to get to know other guests during our trips to and from the beach. They even brought over coronas, snacks, and sandwiches (for free!!!!!). I truly can not say enough about how amazing the staff at Taylor Bay Beach were, they constantly checked that we were happy and comfortable. The breakfast service every morning was perfect and they provide a schedule for the day and a newspaper. It was better than home! Special shout out to Beatrice at Seven breakfast! She was awesome, greeted us by name, made sure we were having a great time, and on our last day brought out a special treat for us! If you are thinking of visiting Turks and Caicos, you won't be disappointed at Seven Stars!
Our third year returning to the resort. This place never disappoints and always exceeds expectations. The staff is as amazing as the beach! Close to some excellent restaurants and nearby shops and supermarkets
Just came back from a long weekend with siblings at the Seven Stars. This place moved to the top of our list of favorites. The staff, from the front of the house to the beach waiters, are amazing... the best high end hotels can learn from them. Memorable staff names include Alan at the Deck. Kirkwood at the bar. Lila on the beach. Every single encounter with staff was excellent, but these names are the ones I remember. Ate dinner at Seven and the whole family agreed that this was by far the #1 pick of the 4 nights for food, wine, service and overall experience. The others we went to were the "Go to" spots and this was our favorite.
This was our first time to Turks and Caicos for the holidays and our expectations were extremely high given all the reviews for the island and this resort in particular. The Island is nice, but in my opinion there are much better destinations in the Caribbean for the money. In the same regard, Seven Stars is a nice hotel -- but I wouldn't call it 5-star luxury. The Ritz Carlton Reserve on Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico would be much more along the lines of 5-star luxury. The resort location is nice with several restaurants, a grocery store, shopping and other services within walking distance. We stumbled on the Maskanoo festival the day after Christmas. They closed off the street and had a lot of food / vendors, DJ, live music and a parade. This was a ton of fun and super convenient to the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, but it reminds me of a condo development that for some reason was converted into a hotel. The gym is ok. Not much room for using the free weights and the machines are limited. The rooms are pretty good. Tile floors, spacious bathrooms and bedroom area. The balcony overlooking the ocean was nice and the side balcony to eat dinner outside was also a plus. It just didn't feel like a 5-star accommodation. Definitely nice by all standards, but I've stayed in much better resorts for the price. The food on Provo is expensive. A 2 or 3 (apps, entrees, dessert) course meal for two adults will typically run $150 - $225 without alcohol. The onsite restaurant Seven has a great menu. We ate there several times. The only time we were disappointed was on the price fixed menu for Christmas dinner. The Deck is also a great spot for lunch. The outdoor seating can be limited during busy times, so try to get there before the crowds. They have a range of options from healthy to typical bar fare. Definitely get a young green coconut to drink as well. The complimentary morning breakfast is good. They have a buffet with a variety of options, including fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, eggs, potatoes, meats and other options. They also have an omelette station where you can get eggs / egg whites made to your liking. This was very good. The beach was nice, but it was extremely windy most of our week stay and it made it difficult to enjoy. The winds were 20 - 40 mph. Most of the staff said this was extremely unusual and the winds / ocean are usually very calm. The staff is really helpful and friendly. I can't say enough about them. They definitely take pride in the hotel and the island and it shows. Kudos to the training they provide and the level of care they give to their guests. Thank you for that!Overall, a nice holiday vacation. It just isn't the 5-star resort experience I was expecting.
