Seven Stars Resort
- What's Included
This hotel was so wonderful. We stayed at one of their villas but were able to come to the resort and use the facilities. The resort is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the food at the restaurants was excellent. We visited the beach which was nice and clean. There are chairs, towels, waitstaff to take orders and bring food or drinks. At the pool there are floats for you to use, they have baby swim diapers for the kids, fresh cold water to drink, fresh towels and very comfortable lounge chairs with large umbrellas. Also waitstaff walking around to take orders. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
This was our second trip to Seven Stars, and it won't be our last. The entire staff treated us with great respect and were available for us 24 hours a day. We were upgraded without request upon check in. The room was outstanding with all the space a couple could ask for. The meals on site were excellent and the facilities were top notch. If you want to go somewhere that offers all you need without worry this is the place. I want to thank the staff for making our trip outstanding!!!!!
From Evans & Ronald "McDonald" beach & poolside to the the breakfast staff (Sharona, Beatrice, Ewillington, Larrica & the lovely lady who helped my toddler stop crying at breakfast by fixing her a make-shift "big girl bottle" of milk...to the dinner-side restaurant servers who knew my son "Max" by name and carried him like a king...we will be returning happily to our favorite place!! Perfect for families with 1-2 toddlers and younger...rooms are almost baby-proofed as well. Then - on the way to the aiport alphonso showed up to drive us to the airport -amazing service! We love Seven Stars & the lovely people that work there!!!!!
Seven Stars is a beautiful resort with friendly helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast was high quality, as was the dinner at Seven. The suite allowed our daughter to have a separate room and bathroom, which was great. Would love to come back again!
It all started out great!!! we pull up to our resort and look at how manicured and beautiful the setting. We arrive in the lobby and were greeted with smiles, a cool refreshing facecloth and a welcome drink. Ahhh!!!! They tell us to have a seat on the couch and that they would handle all of the paperwork. 10 minutes later we are escorted through this lovely resort with one of the front desk staff who was awesome! We get to our 1 bedroom oceanfront room, which is huge and beautiful and saw such a great view! He told us about the barbecue on Sundays they host and if we had wanted to partake. We said, "of course!" he said, "what time would you like?" We told him a time and he said, "done!"..... or so we thought. We showed up at the time we requested and there were no reservations to be found. It seemed to be an issue here since I called a month in advance to book their restaurant Seven for a specific day and time. We showed up... wait for it... you guessed it!!! NO RESERVATIONS? WE are not one of those people that are hard to please, one time I understand but twice? Come on?! The breakfast that's included was very nice each morning. Of course the beach is unparalleled! So, for the reason I didn't give an excellent rating.... other than the miscues with dinner reservations, It is me and my fiance's opinion that this place seemed to have an ageism issue. We are both in the medical profession and "assess" people and illnesses on a daily basis. It was our assessment that the staff seemed to go out of there way (super obvious) to cater to the more... mature audience. We are a younger couple and are fortunate to travel alot, but the blatant ignoring and just unwelcoming spirit they showed to us and the eagerness to please the "older crowd" was unpleasant. I hope others do not feel this way... as this is only my review of this resort. PS... I have worked my way up from not having much to where I can afford to enjoy the life I live, but I never have forgotten where I come from and I tip with that in mind- which is to say I usually tip way more than what is recommended. This had the potential to be excellent, but as one of my professors used to say, "it's not having the potential, but what you do with it."
