Seven Stars Resort
- What's Included
Turks & Caicos has been on my bucket list for years & I finally got there for our anniversary celebration! It was a wonderful resort, best one on Grace Bay! We walked the entire beach & looked at all the resorts, especially resorts 1-3, and Seven Stars is #1 hands down! Awesome property, gorgeous grounds, beautiful pool & fantastic beach! The staff is so wonderful & accommodating & Ronald McDonald is the best ever! So friendly & loved talking to him! Our room was perfect & if I had one complaint, it would be that we booked an oceanfront junior suite & our view wasn't totally oceanfront. We wanted a higher floor (we had floor 3 & you want at least floor 4 to get above palm trees if you have a side oceanfront view like we did)& more of an oceanfront view. We had a good view but more to the side & trees in our way. We asked to get moved when we got to our room, but they said Resort was full. I don't think that was the case from conversations with other staff members while we were there. Nonetheless, we loved our stay, the complimentary breakfast was superb & we would definitely come back! #1 Resort in our book!
My wife & I stayed at The Seven Stars Resort for eight days over Thanksgiving 2016 (late November). We had a two-bedroom suite for just the two of us, which was large, spacious, clean, with beautiful appointments & lighting, gorgeous appliances, a huge balcony (probably 25-30 feet in length) with a phenomenal view of picture-perfect Grace Bay and its perfectly-white-sand beach and a range of ocean water colors that there aren't enough adjectives to describe. The breakfasts, which were included, are beyond wonderful -- so many choices with such high-quality ingredients and perfect preparation. We had Thanksgiving dinner in the restaurant, which was also amazing -- great food and a wonderful wine list. We walked on Grace Bay every day, at least once and sometimes twice per day, with a total roundtrip distance of six miles. We have never seen so many different colors of ocean water this pretty -- only Bora Bora comes close. On the beach, we reserved one of the private cabanas for our whole stay, including a dedicated beach attendant for the whole day -- the nicest cabana we have ever had the pleasure of using -- totally private & relaxing. In our cabana, we had dark & stormy's every afternoon before lunch, then had perfectly-made grilled fish tacos, followed by a daily bocce tournament on the nearby court on the resort property (my wife is a excellent bocce player). Then after the beach and before cocktails & dinner, we played tennis every afternoon on the resort's beautiful tennis courts (they supplied excellent racquets & tennis balls). Dinner was always on our expansive balcony (why go out with such a great view & location). There is a large gourmet market right across the street from the resort, so we just brought in simple things for dinner. Overall, a wonderful resort in a beautiful location with great service. Below are a few staff members that we would like to highlight for their friendliness & excellent service levels, in case you ever meet them: Asperanda, Rinicka, Viviana, Robin, Ronald, McDonald, Renee, Deverino, Darren, Jayven, Ravi, Michel, and Ernest -- thank you all for making our visit so special and enjoyable! Just returned from our 7th visit and more and more it's like coming home. The staff and property are exceptional. You would be hard pressed to find better in the Turks. As a matter of fact once you have experienced paradise why would you look elsewhere?
My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Seven Stars. Everything about the resort was very good. The Oceanfront Jr. Suite was spacious, nicely done and extremely clean. The daily housekeeping service always was prompt and they did an excellent job. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant and accommodating. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The beach is relaxing with service throughout the day if you need it. We also enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast and both restaurants. The location is great and most top restaurants are no more than a ten minute walk. When we go back to the island, we will be going back to Seven Stars for sure.
Truly the nicest room and nicest beach we have ever seen and we've traveled a lot. The kitchen was so nice I actually wanted to use it and cook in the room! Breakfast buffet was very good - especially the omelet station and Baniel who remembered our order by day 2 and the manager there - I think her name is Beatrice - she was lovely, always smiling and always willing to help. The grocery store across the street was key for lunch because the food and drinks on the beach are ridiculously expensive and not that great. Cab rides are also too expensive and they charge per person which makes no sense. The front desk only has certain restaurants that they recommend but our favorite was The Caravel which was an easy walk from the resort (the concierge told us it was too far to walk to????) Maybe they get kickbacks from cab companies and probably from certain restaurants too. I would return to this resort in a heartbeat!
