Never, ever again

I stayed at the hotel with my sister, mid April. Room was extremely dirty, the bed cover was filthy. we used our towels (which we bought from London) as a bed cover, in order to be able to sleep, as it was only for 2nights. the curtains were not even hanging correctly in order to hide the birds and the filthyness of outside of the window. The only clean place in the room was the wardrobe & the bathtub. (Yes I thought of sleeping in there). We ask to have bedsheets and bed cover changed and we finally got another more dirty.Breakfast was poor and not fresh at the basement. The only nice thing there is the metro station located just a stroll away. Never ever do that! Wish there was a way this hotel to shut down, NOW!

Would not stay here again, would not pass a health and safety check

When I arrived here the the man on reception Assim was having a disagreement with a customer who wanted to move rooms. In my opinion this was not a good 1st impression and I thought he was very arrogant and unhelpful.My room would not have passed a health and safety check as the light was flickering even when switched off and one set of plug sockets were not fitted correctly on the bedside chest next to me.Staff miserable and bed sheets inadequate, found a stain and a hole in another. Curtain also 'undrawable'Staff in the breakfast room unhelpful and brushing crumbs on the floor

Worst place ever stayed

If I could give it 0 I would. Reception staff arrogant and unhelpful. When arriving to the room the bed sheets stained and double bed was old and all you could feel was springs. The TV didn't work, reported it and the manager tried to fix it and then just left it. When using the toilet it wouldn't flush properly I reported it but nothing was done about it so I had to fill the bin with water and flush it that way. Wasn't secure at night as the manager slept on reception sofa as seen in the photo. Breakfast consists of croissant, bread roll and cornflakes had to keep asking for coffee to be refilled. The staff were ignorant and not friendly. If you want to leave luggage it's £2 per bag. Wish I checked reviews before booking.

the place is ridden with BEDBUGS, cimex lectularius. We, two persons, were on the groundfloor the first night. We demanded a less filthy and noisy room, and got one on the topfloor. At about midnight I noticed tiny bugs on the bed and we moved out. Later i noticed that i had been bitten already the night before. At home threw our bags away and washed clothes at 90C. The hotel had classes of schoolchildren from everywhere, and they will take the bugs all over Europe. I think it is criminal. The hotel we moved out to was also run by Iranians, and probalbly had the same problem (bitten once there)

What a dump

It got one star because Trip Adviser would not let me give it less..... avoid! Words cannot explain how bad this place is. Curtains handing off rail, dangerous electrics, dirty bathroom, smelly, wall paper peeling off, paint flaking, carpet stained....... must I go on????
