This hotel was a huge disappointed from the beginning reception was disorganised and unhelpful I traveled with my daughter who is in a wheelchair we had to find our own room and get through the doors with no assistance when we got to our room it was very small and unsuitable as we need a twin room there was no soaps and the room was grubby there was tea and coffee making facilities but no spoons or waste paper basket on leaving for the evening we had to leave our key the bed springs were poking through the mattress to such both my daughter and I had marks on our bodies BREAKFAST if you can call it that was a joke coffee was vile yhe orange juice was warm the bread rolls were hard we ended up eating out I understand we paid little for the room bit I still expected a even a 2 star service please ask them for a update as what was on the website was certainly NOT what we got no manners at all this was a Christmas present for me and my daughter never stay here again EVER
Stayed in a family room for one night on 27th December 2016: 2 adults, 3 children under 11 and a 6 month old baby. It was disappointment from start to finish. Room was dirty, mattresses old and Mis-shapen. TV did not work and (despite calling ahead to ensure) there was no cot for the baby. Sheets were reasonably clean, except mine - which was stained with (I think) blood. Covers/throws were grubby. Sausage roll and an assortment of crisp packets and drinks bottles from previous guests scattered around the room.One of the children burst into tears when he realised this was where we were staying.The shower rail fell off whilst my son was showering, which he found hilarious - all part of the experience! Very little to no help from the staff on front counter - too busy watching Bollywood films. Went to ask for toilet roll but the night duty was asleep on a settee in reception - full duvet and pillow. Didn't know whether to wake him or tuck him in!So depressing to stay in the room so my family and I wandered the streets until bedtime.Breakfast was a sight to behold. A handful of croissants, which ran out and some very cheap and poor coffee. We paid £100 for one night, which I thought was okay for London, but I did expect a level of cleanliness and some basic service.It's a roof over your head I suppose but I would never return here.
Visited in November 2016, avoid at all costs. No hot water, lift broken and had 2 walk 5 flights of stairs. Only 1 hour time slot for breakfast. If u can call it breakfast. Woken at 7am by builders Staff also extreamly unhelpful. How this place is still open in beyond me
We had a 4 night booking and even though we had payed the entire bill we checked out after 1 night. We chose to stay here because of the free wifi we had been told about. Not only do they not offer free wifi but wifi costs 10 pounds for 24 hours and only works In the lobby. This is different from what there website states, as it says that it only costs 5 pounds and work throughout the entire hotel. Our room was very unclean with hair in the bathroom, broken furniture and one bed did not have a top sheet on it. It was a bad location and as two young girls my friend and I felt very unsafe staying here. As compensation the hotel manager offered us 5 pounds each. Would not recommend this hotel.
I enjoyed my stay, great continental breakfast.Helpful reception staff.Good value for money.Near the tube and shops.Plenty of places to eat,we went to Noah's on Queensway.This was my birthday weekend and had a great time.Great location .
