- What's Included
We visited there to our uncle place and we stayed there for a week and we really enjoyed. We really loved quality of service and food. The stay was just amazing. ing .The room 410 was really good where i stayed, it was very comfortable for good night sleep and serviced very well daily.
This hotel is situated around a 5 minute walk away from Holborn tube station, allowing for great transport links all around London. From the outside it doesn't look amazing, but upon entering it is obvious the reception and dining area have been recently refurbished. The reception staff were extremely helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was a twin, with TV, Bath with shower, separate toilet (no lock on the door) and a view onto the rear courtyard. Overall the room was more than OK, not amazing, but great value for money.Breakfast was busy, and we had a short wait while other vacated the tables. There was an 'all you can eat' style buffet, with the standard full English, cereal and tea/coffee served to your table. The quality of the sausages was slightly questionable, but the quantity of them was not!The main thing which slightly let the hotel down was the corridor to the room, as this felt dated.Overall it was a great base for the weekend, with lovely walks in gardens around the corner and a brilliant location. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out which was great. I would stay there again without a doubt.
Been looking for a hotel we can return to each time we come to London. We visit at least once a year and have stayed in several different hotels but there's always something that makes us keep looking. It's either location is too far out, beds not comfy enough, room too hot/cold, breakfast not up to scratch or no decent hotel bar. At last we've found everything we need at the Bedford. Comfy beds, cosy warm room, great location (didn't need to use tube), lovely bar for a drink at night and great breakfast with excellent staff. We'll be back next year.
Stayed for 3 nights.Everything and everybody associated with this hotel were very ,very good. The reception was efficient, pleasant and welcoming .The room (411) was great, very comfortable, good nights sleep and serviced very well daily. The breakfast had lots of choice and to be included in the rate was a bonus.Cannot find a fault.
Not impressed at being told at 11.15 that the bar isn't serving even tho we are residents. Having been out for the evening thought we would return and have a drink in the hotel only to be refused. Could have gone elsewhere but thought it would be nice to finish the evening in the hotel . Big mistake.
