Brilliant location

I visited London in September and stayed four nights in a studio apartment. It was fantastic. I was impressed with the spacious room which had a well equipped kitchenette. The location was amazing - so close to transport options, theatres, restaurants, shopping & significant London landmarks. The room was very comfortable. I didnt have a problem with noise even though my room faced the street - I actually was very pleased with the street view from the 5th floor. It was a great base from which to explore London on foot or by tube. I can't wait to return.

This is an excellent location. The pictures are truly reflective of the rooms. You get what you see on the tin! Everything is close and available, within walking distance. Check in helpful, easy and efficient.

Central London location

Stayed in a studio apartment which was a good size. The bed wasn't the most comfortable (personal preferences i guess) and the noise from the lift was at times annoying but all things aside for a 3 star apartment - it was good. A shower with a shower curtain in a bath rather than a individual shower was also a bit disappointing. The apartments are 2 minutes or so from either Charring Cross or Embankment stations which lie on the more popular tube lines including Bakerloo which runs to Paddington Station and the Heathrow express. Walking distance to many sights and if you wish even the main shopping strips. Plenty of local restaurants nearby and the west end theater district is close as well. The apartments also have a mobile device which offers unlimited data and access to maps which saves you carrying around the paper maps and trying to navigate London. Just type in where you wish to walk to and google maps will show you the way. I did find however it sometimes took you the way a car would go allowing for one way traffic despite selecting walking as the option. A good central place to stay for a short or long period with the ability to cook for yourself with shops nearby to buy food from.

A Great Hotel for Our First Visit to London

My wife and I recently returned from our first trip to Europe from the United States and London was our first stop. We booked a two bedroom suite/apartment with my in-laws for the visit. I very much enjoyed our time in this hotel and have listed my observations about our experience.Pro:1. Location- The location is about perfect for easy access to many of the tourist destinations for London. Trafalgar Square is literally a 5 minute walk from the doorsteps of the hotel. In addition, public transportation for both for the bus and the tube are very close. We did a lot of walking and had no issue getting to our Broadway play, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. 2. Bedroom size - Each room in the two bedroom apartment gives you plenty of space. In other words, you do not feel crammed while you are sleeping.3. Smart Phone - Our room came with a smart phone that we were able to use to google maps to help us get around the city. This was super helpful, this made it possible that we did not have to buy an international plan. 4. Staff - The staff was great and super helpful. They were great on giving us suggestions and help when we needed it.Con:1. One toilet - Our two bedroom apartment came with what we thought would be "two bathrooms". The truth was, we had one toilet in the downstairs with just a sink (while our rooms were upstairs) and one "bathroom" with a bath and shower. If you are staying with more than two people, this can be a pain.2. Stairs - The stairs were just different than anything I had ever experienced. The living area and toilet were on the first floor, while the bathroom and bedrooms were upstairs. The stairs were super narrow and were spiraled. This made it difficult to get up and down with frequency if it was needed.I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit London. We were treated great by the staff, were able to get to our desired destinations, and felt safe while were there.

Best Location, Good Value Hotel

We chose this hotel for the location and it certainly was the best place. So close to Trafalgar Square, buses and underground. Walking distance to so many of the glorious London sights. Having a kitchenette are in the room was wonderful, it made for a very spacious room indeed. Certainly much much larger than many inner city hotels. Decor was more than adequate, but not outstanding. Then, that's not what we were there for. The bed was very comfortable. Noisy outside, we were right on the street side, perhaps a room away from Northumberland would be quieter. Overall, it didn't really matter. Having a self-service laundry was a real bonus. Breakfast service was offered, although we ate out or catered our own breakfasts. The M&S Food Store around at Charing Cross Station was just brilliant. So many easy food choices. Free coffee and tea in the lobby was great. There were all east-European staff at reception and while they were exceedingly polite, sometimes the English was a little troublesome. Overall this was a great place to stay and we would return here, no question.
