Any hotel that serves me a welcome cocktail upon arrival has already won me over!I really enjoyed my 5 night stay at this hotel, it felt very homely in that sleek minimalist kind of way. My room was small but perfectly formed, and loaded with guest amenities. Design wise the rooms have white oak floors, floor to ceiling windows covered with soft muslin and white black-out drapes), opaque glass walls into the bathroom. Overall a sleek calm vibe with incredibly comfortable beds ... and a pillow menu that goes on for days.I arrived just before the restaurant was due to close, but the staff still allowed me to order dinner and dine in. They were very professional and did not make me feel rushed at all. My meal was great and was very competitively priced. Likewise, items from the room minibar are very reasonable. The hotel’s staff across the board were very professional and attentive. When my room key stopped working, a member of security accompanied me to my room in case the new key didn’t work, to spare me the inconvenience of having to go back to reception. These little details cost nothing but mean everything. The hotel is a short walk from Waterloo Station (take the Waterloo Road exit); and as a runner I loved being so close to all of the attractions of the South Bank (Tate Modern, Borough Market, London Eye, Waterloo Bridge, Millennium Bridge to St Paul’s, Houses of Parliament, etc), without being in the thick of it.I was very comfortable here and will definitely return.
Very pleasant staff upon arrival, we were a little early so was expecting to just leave our bags and come back later but as our room was ready they let us go in early. Room was immaculate and well stocked with amenities. Very well positioned near to Lambeth North station so very easy to get about London. Breakfast was very good too with a good variety to cater for everyone. Very pleased and would book again
The hotel is about 10 minute walk from Waterloo tube station. Very easy to find.We were greeted on arrival with a glass of cava. Our room was on the 10th floor with a view of the London Eye. Room was very clean and modern. The Sky Cocktail Bar, on the 8th floor, had a good view of the night skyline but it was too cold to sit outside. We hadn't made any plans for the evening and after looking at the restaurant menu we decided to stay and eat. The Spanish food was superb and bottle of wine £27 , which for London hotel prices we thought was good value. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as we had other arrangements. We returned to the hotel restaurant that evening for a 'Red Letter day' 7 course Tapas and cocktail'. This was fabulous. The food was delicious, service was excellent and we had a fabulous time. We shall go back.
This boutique hotel was absolutely above and beyond what i expected. great views, excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff, clean lobby, bathrooms, everything was immaculate..I loved the sky deck bar with that stunning view. close to waterloo station and elephant and castle station. close to food, London south bank university and several convenient stores. I didn't like that they pushed two single bed together to make a double as it was often difficult for them to stay together. otherwise, my stay here was awesome. i highly recommend staying here if you are in London.
Just a few mins walk from tube station Southwark, walkingdistancd to tourist attractions like Big Ben and The London eye. There is a great classic fish and chip shop just around the corner, on Waterloo road (500m) from hotell theres a small grill that is open 24/7 with really nice Albanian guy working.
