Quiet and comfortable room

Long walk to the room, executive floor. Comfortable enough. Went to dinner in the restaurant downstairs, wish I had a pre booking which may have been cheaper. Great self service and the options were interesting but was a little more expensive that I expected. Starbucks now gone to be replaced with Costa Coffee. Great access to South Terminal which is why I booked there for British Airways.

Warm welcome, comfortable room

From the moment we checked in up to leaving we had wonderful service. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an early flight and were given a breakfast bag which was very generous. Our room was extremely comfortable and the executive lounge was very welcoming. Food and drinks excellent.

Airport hotels don't have to be this bad.

Very disappointed in this bog standard airport hotel, should not be called Hilton and I cannot imagine who has rated it 4 star. The reception area is like a railway station and doubles as the bar.The Garden restaurant was terrible, the buffet food, dried out, over cooked and bland. The service so poor, that for the first time ever, I refused to pay the service charge. Which is a bit cheeky anyway, in a help yourself buffet. Asked for water 4 times but it never arrived.Our room was grubby and the chair was filthy, with fluff and dirt showing at the seams.There are insufficient sockets in the room and no bottled water. The bathroom smelled of strong bleach and urine. Why oh why are airport hotels in the UK so dire?

Room comfortable clean and quiet. Had a pre booked evening meal and breakfast as my flight was after lunch both very good. There is a quick pick and go area for an early start or light snack, also a Costa coffee area.

value for money at prime location

The hotel is situated in the South Terminal within walking distance of departure and arrival halls. Booked online through the hotel website as it provided the cheapest room rates. Do remember to join the Hilton Honors members to enjoy the free wifi service. It is connected with North Terminal by free train at few minutes interval. Room is spacious and in general well maintained. The windows are sound proof but do ask for rooms farther away from the elevators as they are quieter. Should hang the "Do not disturb' card on the door to avoid hotel staff mistakenly knocked on your door and disturbed your good night sleep.
