I have been staying at this hotel many times over the years and most of the staff are welcoming but what is missing is gm that knows how to manage and stops the excuses and starts to manage Some of the rooms are not only dated but are dirty so if u stay don't let them give u they are refurbishing as an excuse as clean rooms is a basic I have had a few excuses from them of late these are just a few The staff on the reception said the general manager does not speak to guests and when I asked why not they said they had no idea either The communications manager told me if I wanted a clean room I should upgrade and when I told her what a silly and stupid comment she got aggressive The staff on the customer service desk never really respond as they don't know what to say but in all fairness Sergio is very welcoming but as the saying goes he can't improve without the tools to do so I'm sure some robotic manager will give a scripted reply but before they do what about the general manager meeting guests
I stayed at many hilton hotels so far, this was the worst. Apart from unfruedly front desk and restaurant staff, the amenities in the room were poor, the rooms had leaking water during a storm, many collegues had to change their room during their stay...
Had to stopover one night in london just want to compliment your staff on being so polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and just a thank you because nothing was too much effort for them. They double checked things for us and made us feel very comfortable room was clean
This is quite a big hotel and the rooms are large but the service is quite mediocre. If you care much about space and a big lobby then go for it. Otherwise, if service, attention from guest service and the like are important for you then consider another hotel.
I had booked two rooms with a connecting door far in advance. When I arrived they were not avaiable and I was explained that such a booking cannot be guaranteed. Why should I book in advance if my booking cannot be guaranteed. In my opinion this does not suit a Hotel chain like Hilton.
