First the positives, the room, on the 12th floor was clean and comfortable, and the light meal we had in the pub was delicious. However, although check in was quick and pleasant, neither of the front desk staff appeared fluent in English. We asked for a map of the area and were handed a map detailing the Bus tour routes. Trying a second time, this time at an information desk we were given a map and noticed that the hotel was right at the lower edge. As we hoped to walk down to the river the map wasn't adequate so we asked two different members of staff who didn't know how to get there but waved generally in the direction we ought to go.At breakfast, which was well laid out, none of the juice machines worked, and when I asked a member of staff she said, soon and continued on her way. I asked if they had any plant based milk as I am Lactose intolerant, but was told that none was available. There were too few staff on duty to deal with the large numbers of guests. This is a well placed hotel and certainly at the time we were there, was teeming with tourists. Surely it is a hotels responsibility to cater for a range of food intolerances/ allergies. we had sent the hotel an email prior to our visit explaining I was Lactose intolerant, and had assumed, wrongly that that was enough. We would stay at the hotel again but next time I'll ensure I take my milk etc with me.
This hotel is very accessible: I came by tube from the City, and stopped over for one night as it seemed affordable and available. I was welcomed by friendly staff and show a functional but well-furnished room; clean and quiet. I enjoyed my evening meal and settled down for a comfortable, undisturbed and quiet nights sleep. I awoke refreshed and tucked into a lovely (albeit large) breakfast. I had no trouble at all for my whole stay. A basic but recommended stay.
I visited the hotel last May 14, 2017 with friends. The check-in was very quick and front-liners are very accommodating. Room is clean and and affordable. It's also 5 minutes away from the train station.
I stay at Ibis London Earls Court with my family for 2 night. We take 2 room (double room type). 1 room was with a very large king size bed and the other room was with one queen size bed and 1 single bed with a clean sheets and a comfortable bed. But the pillow was too thin. The room was quite big compare with other Ibis hotel's room. The Hotel look old but in a very good maintenance. The room was also clean and comfortable with and AC and portable heater. The bathroom also clean with clean and soft towel and strong shower with choice of hot and cold. The all staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel have a car park facility. Since my car was big (9 seater), I park infront of the lobby with a flat price GBP 20 for 24 hour. This hotel also have late check out facility (at 5pm) whis was very help us because our flight was at 20pm. Only have to add payment (not too expensive). Free wifi were available and have a strong signal. One thing that bothered was only the room key was difficult to used. Overall, our stay was delightful. Value of money.
friendly staff, nice hotel, better than the standard Ibis hotel. Good room, didn't have the time to check out the breakfast, but heard from colleagues, that it was too expensive. £11 is quote a bit if you only fancy a bowl of cereals. Business users usually don't have the time for a lavish BF.
