The hotel has a good location and good serviceThe reception staff is very courteous and efficient,Breakfast is suitable for those who like eggs, bread sausage and desserts (less vegetables)The staff in the dining room was polite and efficientThe presence of the team is constantly felt and it gives a good feeling.Rooms are a bit small, we upgraded to a large room, was worth the extra (30-50 pounds per night)Recommend staying at the hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Service was 2nd to none. The staff were very sociable and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was spotless. 10/10. I would definitely re book again. Well done.
Stayed for 2 nights recently, Room very compact (small) but modern but the TV wouldn't work and the bath wouldn't empty, reported this to reception but the problems persisted for both night of my stay
Booked the hotel thru a BA promotion. The positive points are the excellent location just a short 5min walk from Kensington High Street tube station and the many shops and food outlets within walking distance from the hotel. Service was generally polite, helpful and fairly prompt as well. I also have to commend the hotel for having a nice hard bed and good pillows which gave a good night's sleep. Also the basic amenities such as lighting, shower, toilet etc all worked fine. The room is very small though and two large suitcases required considerable maneuvering for us to pack. The hotel front desk was also kind enough to change us to twin beds instead of a double at check in, although this took rather long and the twin beds were actually attached and shared a comforter when we first got the room. It took more than hour for the beds to be remade. Also, special mention has to be made of our chambermaid. Coffee and tea was replaced at random, shower caps, sanitary bags and toiletries not at all. It got to the point where we wrote a note asking for some items to be replaced. However, she (he) kinda went overboard and left us so much stuff I was wondering if the person thought we were drinking the moisturizer. Apart from our erratically charming chambermaid, it was a pretty okay place to stay.
I am a current IHG gold card member and used this hotel as I was catching the Eurostar next day.Positives:5 min walk from the Tube station.Negatives:The free Wi-Fi. So slow, it was quicker to use 4G.The room was smaller than expected and there's not much room to store suitcases. The bathroom mirror needs to be looked at. I'm 5'9" and I had to stand on tiptoe to have a shave! The Concierge who was too busy chatting to taxi drivers to help me with my cases. The receptionist at check out (Samara???). Didn't ask how my stay was and was completely uninterested when I commented on the room.
