Stayed here for one night on business. Check in was smooth and pleasant, however I was asked if it was my first time at the hotel, in which I confirmed it was, I was just handed my room key card. It wasn't explained where the lifts were, breakfast location or times. To me this set back the experience as I then had to wait in order to ask the location of my room. I was on the 2nd floor, where you could access via the lift and then a few steps (which again I wasn't told about, or offered help with my luggage)The bed was comfortable and it was quiet within the corridors (I am use to hearing doors in corridor bang) however because of the location of the hotel, being across from Euston Station, it was noisy at times meaning I had a disturbed night sleep. Breakfast in the morning was pleasant, however it was busy even for 7am on a Thursday, I believe you had to pay extra for the breakfast but it was covered with the company I stayed with. You had access to a freshly prepared cook buffet breakfast, as well as continental breakfast - which included cereals, fruits, pastries & toast. Check out was at 12:00pm, however I was able to extend until 13:00 at no extra cost. The hotel was also accommodating when my toothpaste ran out, and were happy to replace. There is 24 hour room service available in the room, as well as an ironing board, tea & coffee facilities, hair dryer. Ample plugs around the room to charge your phone etc. Hotel was easy to locate from Euston train station.
The hotel is minutes away from the station and all the busses needed to see LondonIt is a very nice and clean hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The booking in and out were extremely fast and pleasant. It was my second stay and I will definitely stay next time I am in London
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Euston Station, making it a great base for travelling around London on the underground and also for leaving and collecting your luggage before travelling home by train. We arrived about midday and were offered a complimentary upgrade as the standard double we had booked was not yet available. Thank you! The room was quite spacious and very clean. There was very little noise and we had a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a great choice of hot and cold items and my husband particularly recommends the pain aux raisins!
My wife and I stayed here overnight on a Friday evening as we were visiting the theatre. Very friendly and informative welcome on arrival. Offered an upgraded room for £15, but we declined as our residence time in the room would be minimal over the duration of the stay.Room 282 on the 2nd floor was modern, very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would want. Tea/Coffee making tray (inside a dummy lower draw.) Good TV, hair dryer , good towels and toiletries. Excellent nights sleep and comfy bed but the only downside was the view from the room which overlooked the back of the train station. But as I mentioned it was not a problem for a 1 night stay.Breakfast was self service, we were greeted at the entrance, checked our room number off and shown to a table. Very friendly waiter served Tea & Coffee and the self service buffet, with continental choices, pastries, fruit and full cooked selection was very good.Cooked items were hot and good quality ingredients. Could not fault.Quick check out facility in the morning if you pre registered your credit card beforehand.Would I pick this hotel again. Yes.
OK. First of all if you're commuting it's not a bad place to be. Right next to Euston. 10 minute walk to Euston Square and 20 minute walk to Kings Cross. Location: Good. However the street noise is loud but what is even louder is the paper thin walls of the rooms. I had a tiny corner room which was OK but it unfortunately had a connecting door and I think I could correctly identify what the guy next door had ordered in his room service through the chewing of his mouth. The staff seems a little chaotic. I was told upon arrival I was only staying for 1 night even though it was for 3 and after about 20 minutes of coming and going from a back office they did eventually find my booking for a complete stay. It all seemed quite unprofessional. Certainly not a hotel worthy of charging £125 a night.
