This is the perfect place to take the family on an adventurous holiday. There was amazing dinning, room service and an amazing theme park to visit everyday. I would recommend staying for at least a week to explore everything in Disneyland.
Our room was really nice and clean. We stayed here only for one night but it was really pleasant. Vallet staff was kind of slow when we arrived, we waited appox 10 minutes for them to show up in front of the hotel so they can take over our car. We were staying on 6th floor and it was really quiet. Reception staff was friendly and a very helpful.
I was in Disneyland last week from Jan 4-6 and was booked to stay here instead of The Disneyland Hotel where I had stayed the last time. Since I was traveling from Manila and was staying with family in LA, I decided not to take my passport with me. When I arrived I went up to the counter and presented the woman on duty, Lorena, my email confirmation (they had already billed me $428). She then asked me for photo ID and because I did not have my passport or driver's license, refused to let me check in. In vain did I show her my resident ID at my condo in Manila, and the actual credit card used for the booking. I told her I had a scanned copy of my passport in my phone but she refused that. When I told her my sister would soon be checking in and could vouch for me she said that made no difference because the booking was in my name. The other people (two men) that I spoke to were equally unhelpful, one going as far as suggesting that I go and find a notary public! What the heck that was supposed to do to help me check in was a mystery to me. Lorena's suggestions were, to A) drive back 2 hours to the house I was in or B) wait for my other sister who would be sharing the room with me and had US ID but wasn't arriving until the next day. Please note that she kept leaving and consulting with her manager who didn't bother to come out.So I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes until my sister who was also checking in with her family, arrived. Fortunately the girl who checked her in, Mary Anne, was much more helpful. She took my photo ID which had been rejected by Lorena (who should seriously reconsider her choice of working in the service industry) and supposedly also rejected by the manager and came back out and asked me for the details on my credit card billing, and I was finally able to check in. What was most galling about the whole incident was the very apparent "we couldn't care less what happens to you" attitude and the big fake smile Lorena bestowed on me after refusing to help me despite the fact that I had already been charged $428 !You can be sure I will never be back here! They don't even have courtesy water in the rooms!
Super resort. Our room had a fabulous view of California Adventure park and if the mountains. We were able to see the World of Color and it was great. We did not have kids with us but it very kids friendly. Lots of activities and heated pools. It a bit of a walk to the theme parks but was able to see all of Downtown Disney on our walk. Be prepared for a thorough security check we were very glad they have them.
We came here for a staycation for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by wonderful desk hosts and given a room overlooking the Paradise Lake. The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. The bathroom is a little small, and lacked hand towels, but had good soaps and shampoos available. You have to walk about 5 minutes to an entrance to Disney walk where security does it check out for hotel guests. Easy in and out parking. The highlight was we were able to watch the light show on the lake, and the music and narration is piped in through a special tv station. It was the best seat in the park, and no need to be in the crowd! I only would recommend that after a long day at Disneyland and walking all the way back through Disney walk exhausted, it would be nice to have some type of shuttle for some of us that are a bit older...Thank you for a wonderful stay.
