Staff was awesome. We checked in after spending 2 nights at another hotel, that we had to get out of. Rooms are great, spacious. It's nice being able to use Grand Californian to access the parks and downtown Disney. We will stay here again for sure
We recently stayed here and decided to splurge at the end of our trip with a stay at a Disney hotel. As a stay here was so much more expensive than other Anaheim hotels we were a bit dubious about if it was worth the extra money - but it actually was. We arrived early and didn't expect to be able to check in early but we're fortunately able to. The rooms are decorated nicely with subtle Disney touches. The rooms are large and clean. The beds were super comfy. The kids loved the Disney Princess bedtime story channel on the TV. We loved that our room had a view over the water slide and pool area. The kids also loved the glass elevator. I also really liked that laundry area was open 24 hours and took credit cards as I never have coins. The pool area was amazing. We loved the water slide and that there were lifeguards on duty in the pool area and life jackets available . It was so relaxing sitting by the pool and having the Sand Bar to get drinks and food. Checkout was 11am but we weren't getting picked up until 5pm. We asked if we could use the pool area until we got picked up and were told "Of course. Anything to make your stay here enjoyable". We really appreciated that we were able to do it and not have to find something to do for the next 6 hours. Our stay at Paradise Pier was enjoyable and I definitely think it's worth the extra money for the little touches such as the extra Disney channels, the free swimming diapers at the pool area and the personalised room keys with each of our names. Would definitely recommend this hotel and return.
I loved the convenience and the level of service of this hotel but unless you plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel it really isn't worth the money. When we go to Disneyland we don't spend time in the hotel rooms or in the pool. My kids want to be at the parks as much as possible. Now if you are a family that needs a bunch of down time this is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the rooms are quiet. I didn't like the check out time being 11am that is very early and they were not helpful when requesting a late check out.
The hotel was very comfortable with easy to access Disneyland and early morning entry as part of price. Staff were very helpful and made a very good impression about staying at the hotel. It was more costly than staying in an equivalent hotel as we wanted to be in the resort and there may be better value for money in booking outside of Disneyland.
We just finished up a five night stay here and it was great! Upon pulling up, every person we came into contact with seemed happy to have us here. At check in they gave my kids a balloon, first visit pins, and an autographed picture of Mickey & friends saying that Mickey couldn't wait to meet them. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The rates were $305/night and generally I would expect a nicer hotel for that price but the friendly staff, the impeccable cleaning, and the Disney magic made up the difference. If this were any other hotel it would be on par with a Hilton or Sheraton. I was very pleased overall and can't wait to try the Disneyland hotel on our next visit. I would recommend the Paradise Pier wholeheartedly but I like to try new hotels.
