Fairfield Inn Anaheim Marriott
- What's Included
Love the room, very spacious and clean. Great customer service and affordable hotel. Near Disneyland and accessible to restaurants and other entertainments. Have shuttle to Disneyland as well. Definitely a great time!
This used to be a fairly nice place to stay. As a matter of fact, I just stayed here Oct. 2016 and everything was fine. I returned Feb. 2017 and things have really gone downhill. The elevator is out of order throughout our stay and saw no one working on it. The ice machine was broke the whole time. The hotel is extremely loud with kids running up and down the halls and screaming in the parking lot. This was not the case every other time I stayed. My TV was broken and I was assigned the wrong room upon arrival which I had reserved 4 months in advance. I had called a month in advance to confirm and I again called 2 hours before arrival. I was assured on the phone everything would be ready. Upon arrival, everything changed. I was told that not all room were cleaned so she wasn't sure if my room was ready...it was 9 P.M....I believe she lied to me but I might be wrong. It wasn't until I demanded the room I requested 4 months earlier, did she finally find my room...& CLEAN...to give me...As I said before, I have stayed at this location numerous times and it has been wonderful....apparently, not any more!!! I will be looking for other arrangements for my next trip to the L.A. area.
We have stayed here many times. It is close to Disneyland, within walking distance to Garden Walk and a few restaurants. The ART shuttle stops right at the hotel to take guests to Disneyland for about 5.50 a person. The continental breakfast is nothing fancy. Bagels, waffles, toast and cereal. Some days there were no waffles or bagels out. The pool area is nice, but the hot tub was not hot at all. I think the pool was warmer than the hot tub. Our bathtub drain stopper did not work so we just took showers. The walls are also very thin so if people were in the hallway, you could hear them talking, walking, etc. The staff was very nice to us and greeted us with smiles each time we saw them. The only thing that annoyed me was getting a notice on my car about not having a parking pass on the dashboard. The person obviously didn't look very hard since our parking pass was right there on the dashboard.
This hotel was a breath of fresh air. Easy on the eyes, very friendly staff and in a great location for Disneyland! Located right across from the TOY STORY parking lot and Cheesecake Factory. There is a shuttle you can take to Disney ($5.50 per person, per day) that picks you up in the back parking lot. Very convenient. Rooms are clean and very nice. Comfortable beds and AWESOME wifi! I was on the 5th floor and had no connection issues at all.
La Quinta in Anaheim is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Disneyland. It is not too expensive, has a continental breakfast and is within walking distance to attractions. The suites are perfect for families with a separate room with a sofa bed and TV in addition to a king or two queen beds in the main room. It will accommodate up to 6. I have stayed there before and I will stay there again.
