Fairfield Inn Anaheim Marriott
- What's Included
Eventhough the property is conveniently located near Disneyland, with quick access to the disney shuttle just behind the property, we will probably pass on staying again... Main reason, THE BEDS. They were extremely "wobbly" and uneven, not to mention the pillows i give them a 2 out of 10 score... Also, the breakfast area is tight and busy and not very good overall. On the upside, if you are not a picky sleeper like me, the rooms are big and have an adjoining area with a second TV and a sofa bed, great for keeping the kids entertained while adults set up the disney visit.Staff was nice and helpful.
The pictures on the website are a little deceiving. Not as nice and new as it appears but it's OK. The daily parking costs you and it's a little crammed so be careful where you choose to park because overflow occupants may block you in. Fortunately we took a shuttle to and from the Disney parks (which also costs) during the stay. They serve an all right breakfast. Staff is nice & room was nice & comfortable. You can hear a lot of road noise and ambulances pretty often during the night. We also heard the fireworks each night but our room was facing the other direction.. oh well...
I loved that my guest room had 2 separate bedrooms with doors in between since I was traveling with teenagers. But condition of the ceiling/floor of the room above was so poor that I couldn't sleep. It was extremely creaky and noisy, it was difficult to sleep as any movement above made noise.
I stayed at this La Quinta for one night en route to Palm Desert. Had family matters in Orange County on the way down. The property is located right in the middle of the Anaheim Resort (aka Disneyland area) and across the street from the shuttle parking lot. Parking is covered although it cost $20. We met some friends the next morning at the Cheesecake Factory, which is across the street, and the hotel allowed me to park the car in their lot for over two hours past check out since my dogs needed shade while we had lunch. The room was a suite costing $150 for a holiday weekend!Breakfast was a bit on the mediocre side, but we went out for lunch so I didn't eat much anyway.Highly recommended for families.
dirty towles left hanging on back of door from previous guests! Windows in room did not shut all the way. Some of the electrical outlets did not work. Tub and sink plugs did not work. Beds SUCKED!Time to try some where else!
