Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort
- What's Included
My friends and I booked into this Holiday Inn for a 3 night stay since it was located in walking distance to Downtown Disney/Disneyland and not that far(?) from Universal Studios. (As the traffic flows).I had no complaints with the hotel. Our room was large very clean, and the double queen beds were very comfortable. In the bathroom there was lots of room for a few people to spread their hba's out along with enough towels for the night along with the usual shampoo conditioner etc. Our room had a small fridge and 1 cup coffee maker along with a large TV and Wi-Fi. I loved having a laundry room close by. It really came in handy after "walking " to and from Disney. ( think 90° heat and humidity). The hotel lobby to me was quite compact. There was a front desk & a small area to wait in with a Disney print on the wall. Also in this area was the entrance to the hotel's on-site restaurant/bar Onyx and a small gift shop. There is an outdoor pool and an area for the kids called Splash Zone complete with water canons. Not to worry fitness buffs there is a 24 hour fitness center for you to use. If you don't want to walk to Disney or take your car there is transportation available for a small fee through ART (Anaheim Resort Transportation). Check at the front desk for info. The hotel staff was very helpful with walking directions to Downtown Disney and getting to Universal and any other questions that we had.Currently a room starts in the $150's. If you belong to IHG there is a slight cost reduction into to lower $140's. I think it's well worth it for the closeness to Disney without being lodged at an "actual" Disney property. Also I liked having an on-site restaurant/bar. It was a nice place to stop and unwind in after all the craziness of Disney & Universal.I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is planning to stay in the Disney area.
This was my second time at this hotel and I was pleased once again. Michael, the manager, is "The Man". Without going into detail, he fixed an issue we had immediately when he arrived to work the next morning. We were very greatful. Thanks again Mike😀. The suite was very clean. The food at restaurant and service was very good. Customer service in general was great. We enjoyed the short walk to the parks. In order to skip walking through Downtown Disney, if you already have your tickets, you can take the monorail right beside Rainforest Cafe and it will drop you off inside Disneyland....not California Adventures. Same to return.
We [me,my wife and parents] stayed at Holiday Inn,Anaheim for 2 nights during our visit to DisneyLand and California Adventure park in April 2016. Loved the hospitality, room cleanliness and facilities, costs and the food. We had an offer where we got 16$ large pizza plus lemonades free per night as part of the booking. The location is great and you can walk down to Disneyland via MagicWay [takes around 15 mins]. There are quite a few shopping complexes nearby. Staff is friendly and nice and you can enjoy nice walks in the evening. Has a nice swimming pool as well. Overall, a great place to stay if you visit Disneyland without blowing a hole in your pocket.Cheers :)Best regards,Bharat
This hotel was included in our budget holiday package. The hotel was being updated but our stay wasn't disturbed in any way. Our room was clean and comfortable even thou we were hardly in it. Wifi worked. Loved the pizza from the restaurant and the gift shop was a fun place to last minute shop and get ice cream to go with that pizza.
Stayed here for 4 nights..... the stay was great but just a few downers that no airport shuttle and the kitchen should be operated 24hours coz ppl come from around the world with different time zones you know.....and it is 15 minute walk away from Disney tooo...and got a $10 shuttle for through out the day which takes 10mins is yea that's good....the rooms were good the staff was great....
