Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort
- What's Included
I stayed at this hotel last weekend and the hotel staff was by far the best hotel staff I have seen in a long time. Two people in particular, Adrianna and Hugo, were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was extraordinary. If you are looking for a hotel that is close to the parks and Downtown Disney and has a great staff, this is the hotel you are looking for. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family staying in the area. Thank you Holiday Inn!! I'll be back. :)
I have an annual pass to Disneyland and To Walt Disney World. I stay at a LOT of hotels and have seen almost all of them around these resorts. To find a good one where you can't hear your neighbors talking, or finding one within walking distance is hard and you usually pay a pretty penny for it. I decided to run the Avengers Run Disney race last min. and looked high and low all over the internet for a close hotel to the park as my regular hotel was sold out for Veterans Day weekend. I decided that this hotel must be the closest (it's right behind the parking garage of Disney land) and thought "how have I never seen this one before!" So I decided to book and thought, "it's just for this weekend and it will be ok." We arrived and it was MORE than OK! I realized the reason I had never seen it was that it's not next to all of the busy streets. It's more into a residential area which is much quieter and calm. The staff was friendly as all get out! My friend has an ESA animal and they helped us with the arrangements last minute for that, and to add my friend who decided to stay with us as all the hotels were sold out like I mentioned above. All of our worries were put to rest very quickly and they took the time to put us at ease. I was joking with the front desk staff and quickly made a few new friends! Hugo from the maintenance staff was incredible! We needed a roll away bed and we went and searched high and low to find us one on a Crazy busy weekend. Then the manager Arianna was just the nicest and caring person. She introduced herself to us and let us know if we needed anything we could come to her or her staff. They wished us luck on our 1/2 marathon and we went to our room. The rooms are standard size. Clean and nicely decorated. It was so nice to not be able to hear our neighbors!!!!!!!! HUGE relief as we had to go to bed early to be up at 3 the next morning for the race. The fireworks were obviously close- but I think that is a WIN!! We didn't make it to eat dinner there that night but it looked really good so we ate there for breakfast the next morning! All you can eat breakfast for $14.99 after a half marathon was a dream! It was great food for a great price!I have found my NEW hotel to stay at in the future! Pool, Hot tub, Food on site, fitness center, friendly staff, business center and quiet rooms! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and we had an amazing weekend thanks to you! We will recommend this hotel to ALL of our running friends and family when they go to Disneyland!
My family and I just finished staying at this hotel and I’ll be honest normally I use these review sites to leave good reviews, however not on this hotel! First of all my 8 year old son, my husband as well as my 60 year old mother had been traveling since 3:30 in the morning just to arrive at this hotel at 4:00pm to be told that our reservations had been changed ( no notice) and that our room was not ready ( check in is 3:00pm) so they stored our bags and we were told by the front desk manager that she was going to some how compensate our troubles. We agreed and decided to walk downtown Disney. We left them our number and was told they would call us as soon as the room was ready.. 5:45pm we retuned back to the hotel to inquire if our room was ready and low and behold it had been ready for a while but yet no one decided to phone to let us know! So very upset and incredibly tired, we grabbed our luggage and made it up to our room. The room was an avengers theme room and basically it was low cost items bought at the local target, clearly!!! So knowing what we know we decided to check the room to make sure everything was there... since there was four of us we needed to use the pull out couch, so we went to check the closet and NOTHING!! So we had to call to the front desk to have someone bring some up and ironically we once again got the front desk manager, yet very apologetic she makes a comment that she was just about to call us to let us know the room was ready! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!So here is where my 1 star comes in ( if I could I would give them 0) The onyx restaurant that is attached is the best restaurant within walking distance of Disneyland!! The staff there is amazing and the room service quality is just as good. It’s a shame that they have to be associated with this hotel!!In my option eat here DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!
This hotel is a lovely place. Its reasonably easy to find and is close to Disney. Like most of the hotels in the area there are shuttles to Disney that stop at the hotel that are wheelchair accessible. This saves people having to take their cars and wait for ages to get out of the car park and pay for parking. We stayed in an accessible room but unfortunately they only had a Queen room available and I was here with my father. They provided me a rollaway bed that was actually very comfortable. My father had a tumble and they sent someone along very quickly to help me lift him up. The bar and restaurant here is great. There is a big variety of food, including great pizza.
Stayed at the hotel and was impressed overall. Brenden the front desk manager was very helpful and enjoyed talking with him daily. He made a point of making conversation with me. The hotel does have a splash park, pool and hot tub. My kids loved the splash pad. Rooms were updated and clean. Some of the housekeeping was spotty but we able to get those things missed fixed. Grounds were kept in really good condition as well. Decent range to Disneyland. Restaurant food was really good as well. Kids do eat free with an adult eating in restaurant. They do have booths with tv which help entertain the exhausted kids. Would defiantly go back !
