I heard this hotel had great service but didn't know it would be this great! From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness from Guy at the front desk. We had a very clean room, the beds were comfortable and linens were crisp and clean. The balance was also clean, as was the kitchen. Pool was nice, never too packed. I was however disappointed with the Jacuzzi not in service. There is a taxi stop that is active here which is convenient. Also, the mall is a three minute walk, Starbucks and Publix is a 5 minute walk. The beach was a ten minute walk. Overall a wonderful experience and we will visit again!
this my second time staying at this hotel, the suites are clean and nice, I love the service provided by the employees. Its a beautiful place to be with family, the pool is clean and you can walk to the beach. I enjoy the view at night, it feels like I was in New York city.
I enjoy my six days that I stayed there to celebrates my birth day everyone was extremely great the big smile from the hotel employees face tells I should go to Gallery one, more often thanks Haitian mama she always clean up the room from may 18 I did not get her name a big Hug for because my son was with me I knew he added to her hard work Mr. Ryan Kopp keep up with the good work your management skill is extraordinary
There are wonderful things about this hotel, namely the location, the food and staff in the restaurant (Lissette especially) and the quick response of maintenance when there is an issue. However, two things marred our experience. The first is that valet parking is mandatory and extremely expensive, though for the most part there's not enough staff on hand to receive or retrieve your car in a timely manner. On two evenings, no one even answered the phone for 15 minutes -- we gave up and went down to wait for the car for another 10 minutes. The other issue is housekeeping (or actually the lack of it). Out of our 5 night stay our room was cleaned only 3 times. They forgot us and we had to call for towels, waste can emptying and coffee replenishment. On another day, Housekeeping was cleaning two rooms (805 and the one across the hall from that) at 11:30 am. We passed them in the hall when we went out. When we returned at 5:00 pm our room had still not been cleaned, but the cart was stationed outside the room just past us at 801 (we were in 803). At 5:30 when we were dressing to go out to dinner, Housekeeping knocks on our door wanting to clean! What were they doing between 11:30 and 5:00 when they had only two rooms left to clean on that corridor??? The front desk knows about the housekeeping issues at the hotel apparently; they said others have complained. When we checked out and I saw the sign on the desk asking if we had any comments, I told Joe about our issues and he kindly compensated us for one night's stay, which we appreciated. I do think, though, that less expensive daily car parking and better housekeeping would have to be in place before we stayed at, or recommended, this hotel.
Poor management has taken the hotel to a very low level. The phones don t work, The internet doesn't work, The extremely expensive forced Valet parking doesn't work - and all the manager can do is agree that they could do better. We have stayed many times at the hotel which was really one of the best in Ft Lauderdale in its day.
