Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
- What's Included
We only stayed for one night pre-cruise and there is nothing basically wrong with this hotel. It's just that it's a very big, impersonal, resort hotel. Our room was ok. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice sitting area with a sideways view of the sea.The staff were reasonably friendly and helpful but the place just felt too large and impersonal for us.The pool looked nice but we didn't use it because it was very windy whilst we were there and it's a bit exposed. The barman made us some nice cocktails though and he was very friendly!
We stayed for 10 days and with our dear friend for who flew in from Virginia. We had a two bedroom suite on the 23rd floor with fabulous views of the beach on one side and the city on the other from the wrap around balcony! We ate several meals in the hotel sixth floor restaurant and had great service!!!!! Radha was wonderful in all her greetings each and every time we were in the restaurant. Radha was especially helpful to make us feel so welcome and special as well as helping us with the allergy issues when ordering! Even Don the chef came out to greet us. Radha was delightful and made our holiday so much more enjoyable. We ate many lunches as well as dinners in the restaurant because of Radha's encouraging us to order what we wanted and how we wanted it as my husband was very particular about what he ate!! All the staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful as well !!! This was our third trip there and we will return!!
Really nice spot. Valet and hotel staff jump through ringed fire hoops to make sure you are good. Beautiful room, great food. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The pool, spa and sauna were very nice as well.
There are a lot of hotels to pick from in Lauderdale and a lot them claim to be luxurious. In reality most are somewhat run down. The rooms are great (and have balconies), the breakfast buffet is excellent, the pool is wonderful and looks down on the beach, the gym is more than adequate and the location is perfect. The bars/restaurants associated with the hotel are busy, trendy and offer great food and drinks. This hotel is probably my favorite.
I travel to the area frequently and have stayed at this hotel many times since it opened. This hotel has actually improved over the years. The rooms and bathrooms are good size and the showers are great. The staff is always friendly and professional typical of a Hilton brand. The location is across from the beach and the pool, located on the 6th floor, has a great view overlooking the beach and ocean. Be aware it is a busy hotel in season they may not be able to accommodate an early check in as a result. The restaurant on the first floor, added a couple of years ago, has indoor and outdoor seating and is popular for lunch and dinner. I very much appreciate the two bottles of water and two coffees included daily as part of the resort fee. This hotel checks all the boxes for me and is my go to hotel when in the area for business or pleasure.
