Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
- What's Included
My biggest problem with this resort was the cleanliness of the room. The room itself had a lovely layout with a corner balcony and wrap around windows. The views from the balcony were fantastic facing the ocean. But the cleanliness of the room was absolutely terrible. It was the kind of place where all the light switches all the handles on the doors and all the handles in the bathroom had to be cleaned. When you looked at the doors themselves they were fingerprints visible everywhere as if the place had never been cleaned. It was just really gross. That's the only reason I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
Can't capture the visit without saying Daniel and the pool staff made sure guests were taken care of! Rooms are excellent beautiful with great decor and look brand new! Insider tip: there is a full-sun area just off the pool (may have to ask) if you are looking for all-day sun. The managers were responsive and all the staff were focused on guests even though the hotel was full. Hilton brand is on display here!
My wife and I stayed here during spring break and found the hotel to be a great experience. It is far enough from the epicenter of college spring breakers that we were not bothered by the timing of our trip at all. The hotel has several restaurants and all were great. S3 was a great pick for a couples dinner. The market was a great pick for a quick coffee or snack. The rooms were fine and the hotel staff were very friendly.
This hotel is "meh". Room cost for my family of five, quality of experience, cleanliness and very slow house keeping did not meet our expectations for the price paid. There are several nice hotels on the block with similar amenities and I'd probably take a closer look at the W and Westin for my next trip. The room and the pool were both feeling "tired" and in ready for some upgrades. The restaurant on the first floor did serve delicious food.
Service is bad, I got a spoon after 10 minutes being there. Staff barely show up to fill me for coffee and juice. The food is ok,Not much variety, ciabatta bread was like a rock, hard to eat it. It is a mess going to eat there
