Beautiful hotel on inter coastal waterway

The rooms are newly remodeled and beautiful. The staff is also amazing. The north tower rooms are larger and better. The pool is beautiful and the views are great. The location is also wonderful with many restaurants nearby.

great location, not very clean

Location is lovely with great views, room itself was not very clean, A/C unit on roof was insanely loud, fridge had a bunch of pooled water in it, looks like there was water damage on the TV stand and mold from the fridge, small bugs near the water damage too

Hotel undergoing Construction whilst still trying to take guests

The stay was poor, first room had mould, then had to be transferred to a new room where elevators weren’t working. They then took up the carpets in the hallway during the day leaving a smell and debris. It wasn’t a good stay at all

No air conditioning and horrible customer service.

We checked in around 8 p.m. last night, went to our room and noticed it was very stuffy and the thermostat said it was 76 degrees. We ate dinner and went out around 10 p.m. for a walk, on the way out we spoke with the receptionist who said she would let engineering know. We returned to our room at approximately 11 p.m. and checked the thermostat which now said 77 degrees. I went back to the receptionist and spoke to a gentleman at the desk, I explained our situation and was told he would contact engineering. I told him I would wait there to see what they found from the last time I reported it. The gentleman became visually frustrated that I wanted to wait there for a response. He said he was going to the back to called engineering on the radio, he returned approximately 5 minutes later and said the engineers were on the roof and had to restart the unit, he said it would take 15-30 minutes before we would feel anything. I requested a fan and was told it would have to come from engineering, but it would be awhile because they were on the roof. I went back to the room again.At approximately 12 a.m. I checked the thermostat once again and it was at 78 degrees. I went back down this time with the intention to try to change rooms as I am traveling with my wife and 2 small children who were having problems trying to get to sleep. I spoke with one gentleman who brought me to the manager after I explained the situation and showed him pictures of the thermostat and what it was set at. I had to explain this to the manager and showed him the pictures. The manager said the whole tower was out and there was nothing they could do. I asked if he had received any complaints and he said no not since he had came on duty at 11 p.m. While ending this conversation, the first man I spoke with approached me and told me to raise the thermostat because the ac unit is an older unit and sometimes it makes it not work if you turn it all the way down. I went back up to my room where it now had reached 78 degrees. I sent an email through Hilton's app and received a response at 1:41 a.m. that explained they contacted the manager and the room should be cooling down throughout the night. Woke up this morning to the same 78 degrees, I sent another email to Hilton in response to their reply informing them of the a.c. still not working (I have not received a response from Hilton at this time) later my wife called the receptionist and was told an engineer would come to the room to check it out, we waited another hour for the engineer and I went back to the receptionist desk for a 4th time. While there I spoke to a gentleman who said he would have the manager call engineering. By the time I got back to my room the engineer named John was at the room. John has been the only positive experience at this hotel as of now. He explained there was something wrong with the rooms unit and had it working within 10 to 15 minutes.I do not understand why they would not accomodate a room change or have someone come to the room before this to check on the room unit.Attached is pictures of the thermostat showing pictures of the rooms temperature. When paying this much money for a room you would expect a little better service and quality.

Pre cruise stay

The staff here has been outstanding. Check in was hectic and crazy as there were so many people checking in and out with the cruises. The staff stayed calm and worked with each group patiently. Every server at Waterway for breakfast was attentive friendly and help start our day with a smile and pep in our step. Thank you Hilton!
