Awful - just awful

There was only one redeeming feature of this hotel and it was a lovely member of staff called Sharado Morrison who went out of his way to help us! Check in was just dire. Daniel who served us should either go through a major customer service retrain or find a job he enjoys. I do not often name and shame in reviews but he seemed extremely irritated by us even being there. We had called the hotel to check if there were any additional charges as a friend had stayed there before and they had put holding charges on her card. We live outside of the US and it took 30 days for those charges to be released. We also asked if there were any charges to hold packages at the hotel and were told there was not. This was the ONLY reason we booked this hotel and when we arrived we were told there was a $75 holding charge on each room and $5 per package charge. Daniel ( finally agreed to waive the $75 room charge but speaking to us like we were 5 year old's informed us if we put anything on the rooms we would get locked out....Nice. The next unfriendly person was the concierge who informed us "if you want your packages you pay. You want them or not?" We just shook our heads in disbelief, paid off and shuffled sadly off to our rooms wishing we had never booked this hotel. The rooms are seriously dated. Ours had stained chipped furniture and the bathroom needed gutting. The grouting was dark brown around the bath, the bottom of the bath dark and stained and some tiles were lifting off the walls. The room itself appeared clean enough but very tired and in need of a serious refresh. The final icing on the cake was the fire alarms going off at around 1am on the Saturday. Not the hotels fault I know - probably the fault of the drunken guests that seemed to be everywhere in the hotel on a Saturday night - however we were outside with elderly person and tiny children sleeping in their parents arms and did not see ONE member of hotel management. No one came out to reassure us - no direction to muster anywhere etc. If there had been a genuine fire I am not sure what the consequences would have been. The only person who went out of his way to be courteous pleasant and professional was Mr. Morrison. Please give that man a raise or promote him as he deserves it. This was not a Hilton experience. This was a 2 star motel 6 experience at best.

Lovely room and excellent staff

I called to request a late check in because of a delayed flight but every time I called I never got anyone. I checked in late and the GSA Jason was very kind and tried his very best to accommodate me and my husband after I told him it was our anniversary. He gave me a dinner voicer, late check out up to one and genuinely seemed like he wanted my husband and I to enjoy our anniversary here. He also asked his manager on duty Anthony if I could be given a room upgrade because of our anniversary and his manager agreed and also told him to give us a water view room which had a magnificent view. The rooms was good and very comfortable the food excellent especially the Asian restaurant on the property and the location is close to the airport. I fully enjoyed my anniversary here and will definitely be back thanks to the wonderful Hilton staff especially the night individuals Jason and Anthony who made sure me and my husband enjoyed our anniversary.

Great Staff

Best part of this place is the G Bar. Awesome staff. Debbie and her team are kind and courteous. Front desk is sometimes understaffed but always take care of you with a smile. Only downside I have ever experienced is with the valet parking. When I show up in my Mercedes I'm treated like gold. When I showed up once on my Harley, I was treated like a second class citizen.

Let me start by saying I'm a Hilton Honors member. This place could definitely be better. The first room we were given was disgusting. Flies everywhere, blood on the toilet seat, and the air conditioning didn't work. After calling the front desk, they moved us immediately. The second room we were given was better... but not to the standard you'd expect for paying so much. Especially a Hilton. The mini fridge did not work, the drain in the shower was clogged and did not drain properly, and none of the ice machines on our floor or surrounding areas worked. The only good thing about this place is the pool and the marina view. We won't be staying here again.

Perfect (eventually)

We were originally in the West Villa's but had a few problems that when raised with management was quickly resolved by moving us into the main tower. We were given a choice of marina or cruise boats view and having chosen the marina side woke up to a wonderful view every morning(see photograph) from our 7th floor room. Couldn't fault the new room and the rest of the stay was typical of and what you would expect of the Hilton marque.

Vacations packages include round-trip flights, accommodations, round-trip transfers (unless outlined below) to and from the hotel, and tourist cards (if required, unless outlined below).

If selecting an all-inclusive resort option, the package will also include the all-inclusive features as outlined by each resort.
