Busy hotel very convenient for cruise port. Rooms are well furnished with good showers and plenty of towels and toiletries providedWe ate in the casual coffee bar but the food and service both efficient and friendly
Arrived to the Hilton, imagening it is like most Hilton Hotels are....cleane, good service, etc. non of the above.The room smelly and looked very old and not kept clean.The breakfast was a disappointment disaster!!!! We arrived and when walking into so called breakfast room our shoes were making noises as the floor was very sticky! I love coffee and was given a cup that was really bad taste! Could not drink anymore. I went to see what they offer on the so called buffet and all looked very unappetizing and not invited for picking anything from there! Told my husband that I'm not touching anything here and left. I think that someone should go and check those places more often and see if they stand by the standards the Hilton put himself !!! I do not think it is a 4 star hotel, maybe more like a Hostel!!!!
Easy access from airport. Staff was very friendly. Clean room with great view of the intercostal. Nice balcony. Pool was well maintained and towel service was plentiful. Outdoor bar over looking boats in Marina a great spot. Gym was great with new equipment. Unless you need to be on ocean this property is ideal.
We had a tower room facing the intercoastal waterway, the bridge and Port Everglades. It had a balcony and we loved looking out and watching the boat and vehicle traffic. In the early morning, we were able to see our ship come into port, which was awesome! The room was big and clean. As Hilton Honors members, we were allowed to drink the two bottles of water in the room for free (they had a $3 tag hanging on them, but the front desk clerk told us to enjoy them and it was written in the manual too). The shower was nice and big. It is an older hotel, with some wear and tear but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.We arrived very early due to our flights. We were able to stow our bags with the baggage check clerks and relax by the pool until our rooms were ready. They texted us around 1:30pm that our room was ready (check in was 3pm). We were thrilled to get into our room early as we were wiped! We were able to walk about 10-15 minutes to a grocery store and liquor store to pick up a couple of things for our cruise. We also walked a very hot 35 min walk to the 15th St Fisheries, which is an awesome restaurant very close on the water, but the way the channels and roads go, it's a long walk away. It's only 1 stop on the water taxi if you are going to use that though! It's $26 per person but you can ride all day and the stop is right beside the hotel. They narrate as you go and tell you all about the huge mansions and big yachts that you see on the way!
The double queen Handicapp accessible room was too small too fit 2 scooters or even a manual wheelcahir plus the luggage for 2 people. Had to spend extra money and actually split up and get 2 rooms. Still could not maneuver the chair in the room, had to park it in the bathroom. Bathroom had no shower chair. Took hours for them to find one. When I actually went to take a shower, the leg was broke and I almost fell. Being alone, I would of been in serious trouble had I fallen. Closet was tiny, could not even fit a carryon piece in there. Wanted to go to the gift shop before leaving in the morning. Gift shop opened at 7am. Was there at 7:10am and it was not open and no one was even inside getting ready to open it. Pool area was nice and employees were actually wonderful. Rooms are way too small unless you are by yourself or get a suite. NOT recommended if you are handicapped. Very disappointed, especially for a Hilton.
