I absolutely love coming to this hotel. I travel here frequently for work and have been pleased every single time. The customer service is superb, special kudos to the female bar tender during my most recent visit. She takes her time to make sure everyone is please. She gave good recommendations, made my regular water into this pretty infused beverage, and has an attitude that shows she genuinely cares about her customers. I wish I could remember her name, but will remember her during my next visit. The hotel is going through renovations so it's a bit hectic, however, if it can get any better than it was. I give it 5 stars!
There was a convention so hotel was full,it has been mostly remodeled so we changed hotel(usually we stay at the Lugano which is great!)and gave this one a chance ...we asked for a high floor quite room and they gave us one in front of the ice machine that was super loud.so we complained and we ended up on the third floor. There was a noise inside the wall below the a/c that sounded like water running in pipes all night long.it was horrible,we both couldn't sleep.wonder if it's a remodeling problem(and if its in other rooms as well) or what, but we were more tired in the morning than when we went to bed.very disappointimg.Parking really expensive.will not go back.
We enjoy staying at this hotel and it was very convenient. We got in very late, and had a quick check in. The hotel has some construction going on in lobby but did not impact us at all. Great service. Got right into our room, and we checked out first thing in the morning. Nice, clean and quiet. The hotel held our luggage while we made a quick trip to Walgreens and then to a nice nail salon across the street for a pedicure. After we got back, we grabbed our luggage and jumped into their cruise shuttle. Very friendly service and quick drop off for the cruise ship. Seems to be plenty of amenities nearby if staying longer.
Nice hotel, a little construction in the lobby going on but still very nice.Close to the cruise ship port and lots of restaurants. There is also a restaurant/bar in the lobby but we opted to explore a bit.
We stayed here prior to our cruise. If you don't want to stay near the beach then this is a prime location right at the cruise port. We were so close to the port that we even considered walking over but after asking other people were told that security doesn't allow pedestrian traffic to go in and out so we ended up catching a cab which only cost us $6 total for the two of us and our 4 bags. The hotel does offer a shuttle to the port but you have to sign up for it and the cost is $6 per person so we saved money just taking the cab. Walgreens is right across the street from the hotel and you can pick and choose which restaurant you want to eat because there were so many places to eat in that area. We went to Outback and the food was excellent (much better than here in my area), we did Carabbas and the food there was excellent as well. Within walking distance is a Chipotle and all kinds of burger shops (can't think of the name of the one we went to but that was good as well. There is even a shopping center 2 blocks away with a grocery store, Ross and a few other stores in it. Okay now on to the hotel itself. We were aware of the renovations that were talking place due to other posts and were a little worried but once we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk agents continually asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything which I thought was quite impressive and one of the agents even remembered my name with all the people coming and going I though WOW now that's great customer service. We requested an early check-in and much to our surprise as soon as I turned my phone on after landing in Ft. Lauderdale I got a text telling me my room was ready and to pick up my keys. Mind you check-in time is 4pm but we arrived at the hotel at 10:30am and sure enough our room was ready. The only thing was that our the room they gave us was a connecting room which I don't care for so I asked to be moved and without any problems they moved us to another room. The customer service we received at this location was above reproach and we can't say enough of how we loved the treatment. We will definitely stay here again and I can't wait to see what the lobby looks like once the renovation is completed. Now there is one downside...the lounge is not open on the weekends so if you book the club room on a Saturday do not expect to be able to take advantage of the free horsd'euvres, complimentary drinks etc. The only advantage to booking the Club level rooms is that they are on the highest floors which we loved so we just kept the rate even though we couldn't enjoy the private lounge. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we truly recommend this hotel.
