After a long flight and walking into the beautiful lobby, I knew it was well worth it. The lobby is stunning! The rooms clean and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and the food excellent. Will definitely stay there again!!!!!!1
We booked the hotel based on the price and great reviews and we were not dissapointed. We arrived after a late evening flight and were created by Ashley, who was so friendly and helpful. Our suite was upgraded for being an elite rewards member and it was beautiful! We had dinner at the restaurant which was standard, nothing out of this world but certainly not terrible. Breakfast was a code variety of options daily for my husband and I both. The staff was always very friendly and helpful with anything we asked for during our stay. They only thing we were disappointed is that the pool closes at dusk, which is around 7pm this time of year. It would have been great to be open until 9 or 10pm to enjoy in the evening, especially with the hot tub. However, this is minor and not at all a big deal. The intracoastal views can't be beat - we will recommend to all our family and friends!
From the moment we stepped into this hotel until we left everything was a five star experience. The rooms are spacious and staff is chick Fila friendly. Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. Did I mention the free breakfast and The beautiful view of the intercoastal! You get a five star hotel at a 3 star price!
Just by the canal, with canal and see views, this hotel has very spacious and comfortable rooms with a small kitchen and laundry. Nice balcony too. Perfect for families. Walking distance to nice bars and a short drive to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.
Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale is the only place we would ever consider staying when we visit family in Fort Lauderdale. This was our 6th time staying at this beautiful property. Here's why we love it so much:- Staff are incredibly attentive, professional, and go out of their way for guests. Ashley who works at the front desk is amazing! She is personable, friendly, and embodies all the characteristics you would expect from staying at a higher tiered hotel. She is definitely ready for a management position! The Hotel Manager David Fernandez is a gem- one of the best Hotel Managers we've seen! When I accidentally left my little boy's water shoes in our room at check out, he fed ex'd them to me at no charge- talk about guest service! And when we were locked out of our room for a few hours, we reduced our rate for that day by 50%- talk about guest service! And let's not forget about Joel who found my dad's Crocs and T-shirt by the pool- not only did he bring the items to our room, but he neatly folded the T-shirt on the table- just awesome service!-The hotel is just gorgeous! As soon as we step inside, we are amidst luxury. From the lovely scent in the lobby, to the beautiful lighting and furnishings, to the beautiful view of the intracoastal waterway, to the fabulous outdoor seating area, to the inviting swimming pool. It's just a fabulous place!-Breakfast is delicious and plentiful! Each morning different dishes are offered such as egg sandwiches, mini omelettes, bacon, eggs, potatoes, etc. Also offered are waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, donuts, toast, etc. And I LOVE that they serve REAL Tropicana OJ and not that horrible processed juice. I understand that the hotel will be renovating the restaurant and expanding it towards the waterway. This will be awesome! We also like taking our breakfast to the outdoor patio right next to the waterway- just lovely! -The rooms are gorgeous! The King beds are divine, the size of the rooms are fantastic with so much room to spread out. The furnishings while a bit worn are still very nice and comfortable. The kitchen is great for making snacks. The washer and dryer are so handy. The views of the intracoastal waterway are just amazing. We've stayed both on the ocean side and intracoastal side and both are lovely- but I prefer the intracoastal side. The balcony with table and chairs is awesome for relaxing and watching the boats go by. And, let's not forget the quietness of the rooms. I need a very quiet room to sleep and this has never been a problem in all our stays. All in all, this hotel is a wonderful and enjoyable place to stay. I always look forward to staying here and can't wait for our next stay Thanksgiving weekend! David and Ashley, I hope to see you then!Jenn C from Virginia
