Il Lugano Suite Hotel
- What's Included
The rooms really really large even for a Residence Inn. The property is right on the inner coastal great for boat watching at breakfast. The beach is about 3 blocks away straight out the door, 10 minute walk at most. Hokies keeping and front desk staff were very friendly.
My husband and I have stayed numerous times this year, We Absolutely can't say enough about the staff, Beautiful suites with a fabulous balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Michelle Silva made my Birthday so special from the moment we arrived and the day of my birthday I was so very touched beyond words. We highly recommend this hotel it is refreshing to be treated so beautifully, just like this Beautiful hotel and staff !!!!! Sincerely Mr.& Mrs. Champion
We've stayed at the property several times previously. It has always been an outstanding value, we love the property, the service, it's a terrific getaway from Miami. We stayed in a corner suite this time for 2 nights and it was just perfect for my wife and I, our two teenagers. We were able to see fireworks from as far south as Aventura, way out west and Pompano to the North. The corner suite offers a larger balcony with (2) chairs, lounge chair for sun, and a small table. The intercostal views are lovely, watching the boats go....tranquil. Perfect for sitting out in the afternoon, watching the sunset, peaceful and quiet. The staff is all smiles especially the breakfast team which goes above an beyond. The location has terrific parking options with good bars/restaurants all within walking distance. It is just a 1 minute walk from the water taxi located at Bokampers. Our teenagers loved the pool area and dock space to catch some sun. The rooms are modern, well kept, no mold on the drapes or ceiling, or mildew smells like at other beachfront/waterfront properties. My wife has allergies and no issues - wonderful housekeeping. As I travel +75 nights a year I can attest the mattress is terrific and was able to get a better nights rest than what I get in my own bed at home. You will not be disappointed...We will be back and very soon...
This hotel was just converted to Marriott (former Il Lugano) and is a very elegant property. The rooms are excellent. I stayed in 612 which is a larger suite with large living room, corner balcony overlooking the intracoastal, washer/dryer and small kitchen. Almost good enough to be a long term apartment! Staff is excellent, the bar/restaurant is very nice as well. There are many good bars and restaurants in walking distance and the beach is just a few blocks away.
We stayed in this suite-style hotel for two nights while attending a wedding in Fort Lauderdale. It was clean, roomy, and the room opened onto a lovely private porch/patio overlooking all of the action on the Intracoastal. We found it to be moderately priced for what and where it was. There was also an excellent restaurant located on the first floor, "Oria Osteria and Terrazza". The staff was professional and attentive. We could have not been happier with our choice of hotel! That said, we did have some difficulty with Uber drivers finding the hotel on more than one occasion.
