Our Opinion
One of the most popular choices with Canadians, these suites are great for those looking for condo style accommodations. Kitchenettes and mini fridges are standard in rooms with BBQ grills available outside. A short walk to the beach.

This fantastic kid friendly property is just minutes from the Honolulu Zoo and only 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. Enjoy the huge recreation deck featuring kids playground and BBQ grills. Suites accommodate up to 5 people, giving that little extra space for larger families.
Location: 16 km from Honolulu Int'l airport

Stayed here 4 nights family of 5 in room 2802 walked in the room nothing like the picture of rooms on the website so outdated. Curtains falling apart, kitchen outdated, coffee machine leaked everywhere, no dishwasher ( oh that ended up being me), just everything old. Even no wine glasses. Didn't complain only staying 4 nights most of the time we were out. Could see the ocean that was nice not far from the beach and front desk people were nice. They did supply pool towels. Would I stay here again? Answer no.

A Touch Under-Par

We stayed here as a family for 3 nights. We've stayed here before, two years ago. At that time we stayed in this hotel under Airbnb umbrella. We had such an awesome stay that we thought this time we will see what the hotel is like and booked a room for 3 nights. In future we will never choose to stay in this hotel as their guests. We would choose to go Airbnb. Disadvantages of staying as hotel's guests:-1/ You're up for a amenity fee - $20/ day on top of the room rate. The amenity fee covers a lot of things we didn't use like in-room complimentary tea & coffee; parking facility (if you choose to park overnight - the hotel will charge you for actually parking); safe in the room (this we used); wifi; daily newspaper; use of poolThis amenity charge is ridiculous. A lot of hotels around the US and world would not charge an amenity fee. We paid $850AUD total. Surely we shouldn't be subjected to an amenity fee when other hotels don't charge for use of a safe in the room, pool, complimentary in-room tea & coffee etc especially when the room rate isn't cheap. Amenity fee is definitely a turn-off and is a rude fee. The room (rm 2510) looked very, very dated. Given, we paid $850 for 3 nights, I would expect a fairly decent looking room. For a start, as soon as we walked in, there was a roller bed at the door. The furnishings didn't look professional/ nice as you would see in a hotel. Spot lights in the main room of the hotel room didn't work. It was dark. Thank goodness for the kitchen lights - They were bright enough to compensate! The table lamp in the lounge wasn't bright enough. Looking at the furnishings, we believe that this particular hotel room (2510) may have once been an Airbnb room but is now part of the hotel's. The bedroom was dark, there was only one table lamp to light up the entire room. Again, at least the lights at the vanity compensated a little. The safe was in the corner of the built-in wardrobe. But there was a big wardrobe in front of it, making it less than convenient to access. You have to squeeze yourself between the built-in wardrobe and the wardrobe. Crikey! The kitchen cabinets looks worn with tired wall paper covering it. Only good points about this hotel - its clean. The cleaners do a good job! Its close proximity to Waikiki main strip, Honolulu zoo, Honolulu Aquarium, beach, shopping and restaurants. I would return to this hotel only as an Airbnb user, not as a hotel guest! Then I would not be subjected to the amenity fee nor parking fee if we choose to rent a car for more than one day. Note: we had such a good stay at this hotel as an Airbnb user. It had better furnishings too. As a hotel guest, it was a total let-down. Maybe we had high expectations from the previous stay. The amenity fee is rude. You are not up for this fee as an Airbnb user (well, I didn't in our previous stay)

Convient be about all?

Front desk, female clerk, very unfriendly and even assigned us a wrong room reservation, even though we had made them, and paid for them, two months in advance. Parking is horrible and the walk to the elevators is life threating with all the traffic zooming by! Room was mildew smelling and very old and the furniture was hard as a rock. Had to put two cushions together to sit on sofa or small chair in room. Old refrigerator, no ice maker and the stove was unleveled and the burner grills were ill fitting so we didn't use the stove. Small TV for such a large area and limited stations???

Basic no bells and whistles

These apartments are very very dated as is the whole hotel. For a family this was a good option as it has a full kitchen.Bathroom was average but shower was crap, pressure and size way to small for unit. "Sofa bed" was old and not support in mattress so ended up on the lounge made up! Great position from main drag only 2 blocks back. We are splurging at turtle bay at the back end of our trip so this was enough as we are on the go and barely in the room. Housekeeping daily so can't fault that and the Wireless was good. View of diamond head nice at night.

Try to avoid mini mart

Staying this condo was very good. Great location and nice view. However, disappointing experience at mini mart located on main foolr. I purchased laundry detergent and received paper change. A few minutes later on I realized I needed more coins for the laundry machine, so I went back to ask if I can get coins instead of paper money and the man said I have to pay $1 for the exchange. So I end up paying $1 for $2 coins. His rudeness really made for a bad start to the day.
