Great location

Stayed here 12 nights with my wife and 2 daughters 17yo & 10yo. We had 2 double beds. Daughters sharing a bed. Yes room small but we knew that from reading reviews. Wasn't much room left with our 4 bags left on floor. But didn't worry us as only time in our room was sleeping and usually an hour or so before sleep. We sat or laid on our beds watching the TV or on iPads/phones. Small fridge was handy. Bathroom was very good.Daughter complained about noise of Air con when start up and shut off. But I fixed that by changing from energy save to constant mode. We went for a budget room with out a view as we rather spend our money on trips. Especially considering how little time we spent in our room. We got a great deal. Location is the key with this hotel. It is over the road from the best part of Waikiki beach. You have a choice of the rock pool or the open beach. Surfboard and SUPs hire is over the road too. No pool at hotel but with the beach over the road is all you need. Downstairs in lobby is Eggs and Things a very popular place especially for breakfast. It's a great breakfast but can be a wait. Check reviews on it. Also handy on one side of hotel is a large ABC store great to grab a drink or a sandwich when leaving in a tour real early. Other side is Mcdonald's. Dukes statue is almost over the road which is where a Trolley and your pick up and location is which we used a few days. On some of our tours a pick up location was at Hyatt which was next block from us and we also hired a car from there too. Another great thing we loved was arriving on a red eye we got to the hotel about 8am without much sleep. Looking to leave our bags there before check in later the day. They were able to get us in a room straight away. We all had a great quick sleep and so thankful for that. Yes we would stay there again for sure. Great price and location.

This hotel is right across the street from Waikiki. It is very convenient to walk out of your hotel and do some window shopping. They have a restaurant but the line is always so long. You have to order your food before you are allowed to sit down. I really didnt care for it. I ended up going to McDonald's right next door to get my coffee. The room was very cramped. The shower was something else. I've never seen a shower head where it faces the shower curtain. It takes forever to get any hot water and if you are not careful the floor of the bathroom will get totally wet. Parking at this hotel is not good. If you are not one of the lucky ones to get a space then you have to park farther away and still have to pay for parking. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Location is pimp and great price!

Basic...but as I said above, location is pimp, great price, clean and excellent customer service! Our first time at this hotel so we only booked 1 night but decided to stay for 2 more, mainly because of the awesome customer service (Kamiki at the front desk when we checked in and a super nice woman that helped us when we extended our stay by tracking down our last minute reservation, keeping us in the same room and adding our Alaska Airlines frequent flyer number when she noticed it on our visa so that we could also accrue mikes for our stay). Wow. We will stay here again for sure. Only reason for the 4 and not 5 rating is no pool but the ocean is right across the street.

Loved this small pagoda shaped hotel!

We had an ocean front room with the most incredible view of the beach right across the street & amazing sunsets from our large balcony.Hotel gives you free new movies & games plus playstation everyday, access to chairs boogie boards and beach toys thats other guests brought & left there. Kona coffee with a pod machine for great coffee every morning in your room, mini fridge , safe. Comfy beds, only 2 doubles in each room but my husband & I were ok with that for a week. The bathrooms very smallish but really plenty big, nice shower, good towels and linens. Plus a separate area where you can sit outside the bathroom to do your hair and makeup. The desk is staffed 24 hours and are there to helpyou with movies, ice, beach towels etc. plus they were super nice & friendly. We loved Jan up front! There is a delicious restaurant downstairs small but great waffles, Eggs & Things, plus 10% off for guests of the hotel. Also right across the street on theBeach with a sea wall, are chairs & umbrellas to rent. Jason there was great! So overall I would stay there again & again. Small quiet hotel right on the beach, with grocery store and lots of shops right next door. Walking distance to mall and restaurants like Dukes, cheeseburger in paradise, & cheesecake factory & Starbucks. Plus within walking distance of the aquarium which we went to and it was small but interesting, sea horses and jellyfish. We had an excellent time! Mahalo!

Location, Location, Location!

You can't beat the location. It's right in the middle of the strip across from Waikiki Beach. That being said, of course the sidewalks are crowded with people. The lobby isn't really a lobby, just a window to check into. The room itself was larger than we thought it would be. It was clean and has everything you could need. There is no tub just a stand up shower which worked for us because we had no kids to bathe. Eggs N Things is right downstairs and McDonalds is next door. This was a great stopover for us on our way to Kona the next day.
