Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach
- What's Included
Stayed for a week in August. Felt overcrowded - elevator waiting time was sometimes even 5 minutes! Nice rooms, a bit too loud. Very good location, 5 minutes walk to the beach. We parked at huge Waikiki Banyan Parking just across the street for only $80 a week (instead of $32/day at Hyatt)!
We use Hyatt Place all the time. I love the free breakfast buffet. 24 hr bar/food in the lobby floor. Great staff! To me it's prime location to all the local eatery. Open air lobby. The local bus system is right next to the hotel and if you do any activities the pick up spots are with in the radius of the hotel.
My Name Faizal and I just took a trip to Hawaii with a family member. I have been to Hawaii several times but by far, this is the best hotel in Waikiki. The rooms are extremely clean and up to date. The staff provide superb service and are extremely welcoming. They frequently asked me if I was enjoying my stay and I could see that their requests were made with sincerity. If there was a problem, which was rare, they were very quick to fix it. The hotel it self is on a quiet beautiful street which is a block away from the best beach and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip at the beginning. My expectation of the continental breakfast were low. To my pleasant surprise, it was like eating in a 5 star buffet. There were pancakes, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, waffles, french toast, quinoa and wonderful fruits like pine apple and melons. And the staff at the breakfast are so lovely and pleasant. The housekeeping staff were also top notch. We were initially greeted by Cole at the front desk and man is he awesome. He was kind, caring and sincere. I cannot say enough about himA very special mention goes out to the manager, Jose Fernandez. He took every opportunity to get to know both myself and my sister. I could tell that he wanted to make our experience a memorable one. The funny thing is that his sincerity is so ingrained in his personality, I suspect that he did this for all the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel over any other in the strip, especially the Sheraton. The Sheraton is like going to stay in Vegas, impersonal and cold. I truly felt appreciated and welcomed at Hyatt PlaceTo Summarize:Service: 5 out of 5Hotel Cleanliness: 5 out of 5Location: 5 out of 5Breakfast food: 5 out of 5Please please do not change the way you conduct your business as I look forward to visiting this hotel for years to comeGod BlessFaizal A.
We came to Hawaii to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. From check in to check out we had a very good stay. Check in was a breeze. Our guy was friendly and helpful. We asked about places to go eat. He told us about a few places. Our valet guys were fast and friendly. Our housekeeper,Justine, was an amazing cleaner. We were on the 18 th floor. She was very friendly and accommodating! Never needed a thing! She kept everthing clean and plenty of toiletries. Check out was nice and easy as well. Thank you. Our first stay in Hawaii was wonderful!
