Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach
- What's Included
There is not many properties I have stayed at, that could say I had perfect experience. This is one property that excel at every turn.First off, The Staff was fantastic,From check in to randomly running into staff that greeted me and ask if they could help me.Room was very comfortable, clean and room service outstanding.Very close to amenities just a couple of blocks from Waikiki Beach and is central enough to tourist hotspots.High Speed Internet wifi complimentary and free and breakfast buffet was included with my room - which was standard to above average fare, but at least changed from day to day. From a price point good value for money and certainly feel very new and welcoming.Overall a very good experience and certainly would stay here again
This hotel is in a great locality. Close to the beach and diamond head. Lucky enough to have a birthday upgrade which was great, the ocean views were fabulous. The breakfast it basic but filling, I didn't like the area breakfast was in, so many sparrows eating the leftovers and there excrement on food areas. The pool doesn't seem to be used but with the safe beach just nearby it isn't really needed. Beds comfortable wifi complimentary and efficient.
The hotel is well appointed and clean. We stayed for 7 nights and had an ocean view room. It is two blocks away from the beach and Waikiki strip. Walking distance to many restaurants including the International Market. Banyan parking garage is across the street. Weekly parking rate is $80 or $20 per day versus $32 valet per day at the hotel. No problems at all at the garage. Plenty of parking spaces there. The hot morning breakfast includes eggs, potatoes, French toast, waffle, toast, lots of fruits, cereal, rice, miso soup, coffee, juices and milk. The type of meat/protein is rotated between sausage, bacon and corn/beans. It is served on the 3rd floor with a similar set up on the 1st floor but at a much smaller scale. Front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful, friendly and even let us their baggage scale. Overall, very impressed with this hotel.
We were looking for a PET FRIENDLY hotel, within budget for an extended stay, with decent reviews in Waikiki. Not an easy feat but we eventually found this place! So glad we did! We had a king bed city view room with a sofa bed on the 12th floor. The room was a decent size, very clean and modern. The street noise wasn't too bad considering you are in the middle of a loud city! The view from our very small patio was of the city and mountains. We had a very handy safe, small fridge and coffee maker but unfortunately no micro-wave. Their was plenty of storage for our clothing. The breakfast was great! A wide selection including cereal, fruit, porridge, yoghurt, breads, juices, milk and even almond milk, various teas and coffee. The hot food is rotated each day but normally included some form of eggs, meat, and potatoes. Staff do a great job of keeping the dishes cleared away and the buffet stocked. The buffet is served inside with seating around the pool area. Some reviewers mentioned the birds being an issue. There were quite a few little sparrows around but no big messy pigeons. They didn't really bother us, they stay away unless you leave your food unattended and then they will swoop in and help themselves! You can also take your food to your room. Parking is expensive for longer stays but you can get cheaper parking at nearby parking garages. All the staff are very friendly. The location is very close to the beach and all waikiki has to offer.
The customer service was good, Check in was done in a timely manor. The room to small to enjoy and just not worth the money. The breakfast was great, always plenty of food. The shower had mold which made me uncomfortable.
