Ohana Waikiki East
- What's Included
Third stay in 12 months & my requirements are met at Ohana East, ask yourself what's important to you when you are booking a Hotel, for me it's Staff, Location & Price.Ohana Waikiki East has won my business based on the above & although this trip was a quick 3 night stay it was as good as ever. Many thanks to Tracy at reception who checked us in straight away after an overnight flight to Honolulu, your customer service & local knowledge was fantastic! This a a great personable hotel only a block from the beach, it's rooms are comfortable & their pricing is sharp. Mahalo and see you again in 2017.
It was great to be back at the Ohana East after two years. My previous visit had not been great, but I am pleased say that this visit has restored my faith. I travelled in a group of seven and we had 2 two bedroom/one bathroom suites. As we had three individuals in our room we requested to have a suite that had 2 double beds in the second room. The suite was on the 18th floor and was wonderful. We had a queen bed in one room and two doubles in the other, and living area in which all seven in the group could congregate of an evening. The kitchenette was also a great option for those wanting to make snacks. The check-in staff were very helpful and informative. We arrived around 8.00am and fortunately both rooms were ready for us to occupy. It was great to arrive back from the beach around lunch time and find that the room had been serviced nice and early and fresh towels were available. The hotel is in a great location with a Food Pantry just behind on Kuhio street and plenty of restaurants in close proximity. The hotel pool area is quite good however at the time of the year (late November) there is no sun until just after 12.30pm. So shop in the morning, pool in the afternoon. This was my fourth stay the Ohana East and hopefully it won't be my last !Perfect location, nice friendly staff, well maintained rooms. There is free Wi-Fi and of the course the free Pink Line trolley to Ala Moana.
We arrived early after an all night flight from Australia. Our room was ready and we were allowed early check-in and we were grateful. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Would have liked a room with a view but we were only there two nights so did not matter. We were given late check-out and that was great. Wish we had stayed there after the cruise instead of where our travel agent booked us into, they were shocking. The Pink Line Bus is a bonus
This hotel is located central to everything - the beach, the shops, places to eat etc. We had a city view room up high that had views of the mountains and the ocean. The free pink trolley inclusion is excellent and great for when you are tired. They let us into our room early which was handy after a long overnight flight. Spacious room with separate bedroom and lounge area. Friendly staff. Great value hotel.
We stayed the end of November and early December 2016. Most welcoming staff. Our room was really early which was so handy. The room was a little dated but clean comfortable and all you needed nice bed bar fridge great size room wonderful view so handy to everything and free trips on the pink line bus you can hope on and off at any stop so easy. Very happy with hotel.
