A century ago, Hawaii's last and most beloved princess lived in the heart of Waikiki. Her story unfolds at the site, which today graces the former royal estate of 'Ainahau. Just a two minute walk from Waikiki Beach, or the International Market Place, this historic property offers an enjoyable poolside atmosphere, as well as 'Creation', Sheraton's Polynesian cocktail & dinner show.

Excellent value in Waikiki

Recently stayed at the Princess Kaiulani and was very pleased we did. It is a lovely hotel with easy access to the beach and a fantastic pool area. Of the three hotels we have stayed in at Waikiki the pool area at Princess K is easily the best. Staff at the hotel are friendly and very helpful and the outdoor dining area is pleasant. An added bonus with Princess K is the provision of free beach chairs for use at the beach as well as towels.Ask for an ocean view room and you will be get a great view as you sit on your balcony sipping a cold drink. The minor extra cost is well worth it.

Treated like a queen at the Princess!

My husband had told the reservation agent that we would be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We were given a "special room" on the 27th floor with a gorgeous view. Flowers, fruit, cookies, and champagne were waiting for us. It was a lovely surprise. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, as well. This hotel is across the street from Waikiki Beach, and has a lovely mid-century modern aesthetic. It did not feel crowded or "touristy" at all!

amazing position

Our agent booked us into this hotel and boy were we pleased. We had an upgrade for 425 additional per night for a front sea view on the 19th floor. the views of waikike were simply mind blowing. The room was average in size but adequate and beautifully furnished. It was a great experience

Won't Stay Anywhere Else

Stayed here again in May, what more can I say, we just love this place, so much so, I'm booked to stay here again, end of August for a few days then again mid September for 5 days, Once again we were made to feel welcome back when "Kathy", always friendly and helpful, had a basket of goodies sent to our room, As I've reported previously, I don't even bother looking to book anywhere else, always feels like our second home, look at the view we had from the 25th floor, just beautiful...we always enjoy the supply of cold water and fruit whilst lazing on the beach as well, ... Looking forward to August / September !

Stop over before cruise.

Arrived from Vegas around 2pm, book in was swift and included an upgrade to a room with seaview. Room was on 31st floor with fantastic view of Waikiki beach.Room and bathroom were lovely and was one of the best hotels we have stopped in on this visit. Safe included in room along with iron & board and hairdryer and complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner bottled water and coffee making facilities.Didn't have enough time to fully explore hotel but the pool and bar area were relaxing, with towel and chairs available to take to the beach.Breakfast was buffet style and I would recommend that also. Staff were friendly and helpful. Concierge even trying to help me arrange a visit to Pearl Harbor, even before we left the U.K.Would recommend the beach but also there's a grass park area with plenty of tree shade.Would definitely stay here again
