Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
- What's Included
During my extended stay at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, I was treated to extremely friendly and professional service by the front desk staff. On numerous occasions, I found myself going to the front desk with questions regarding my SPG membership, room rates, accounting, etc. and each time a staff member or manager was able to accommodate my request courteously and efficiently. I would like to specifically identify and highlight the great service of front desk staff members Ms. Uyen (sp.) and Ms. Erin and also the manager, Mr. Bob. Staff members like those mentioned above really put this property a cut above others. If you're planning a trip to Waikiki, I would highly recommend the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani because you'll rest assured that you're being taken care of by true hospitality professionals!
Only 1 night at Sheraton Princess. Location is perfect, just across Waikiki beach, shops & restaurants. In the resort fees, you can have a beach chair. Room need to be upgrade. We had a pool view but it was more a garage view.... Bed & room clean. For our next stop to Honolulu, for the same price, I'll try another hotel.
I have stayed at PK every year those last 10 years and it still maintain that cosy atmosphere. The staff is always doing its best to help despite the size of the property more than a thousand rooms it never feels crowded .....(there is a lot of Japanese guests and those are usually very discreet!)the food could be improved but there is the Moana Surfrider opposite.I complained some years ago when they introduce the resort fee for I do not use most of the benefits offered,29,50 usd per day for Internet, water in the room, towels on the beach and some other thingsThat does not prevent me to return there every year.It is a good place to be in Waikiki I regret however the constant increase of the rates ....thy are very good in yields management!!
This was the last hotel of our Elvis tour and it didn't disappoint. We had a fridge to keep cold drinks and fruit in and a much needed coffee making machine. The beds were clean and comfortable and the pillow cases seemed to be changed every day which was nice. Toiletries were replenished every day as was coffee, milk etc. We had a lovely balcony with a fantastic sea view and overlooking the pool where there was nightly entertainment. I couldn't fault it. It was fabulous. Well done to them. We were also just across the road from the beach and in the middle of the shopping areas.
We arrived at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani tired from over 20 hours of traveling but we were so excited to finally be there. Upon arrival we were checked in and given our room key. As soon as we entered the room we were so underwhelmed and disappointed. This was the first night of our honeymoon and we were expecting so much more. We had booked a room with a partial Ocean View. The furnishings in the room were extremely dated and the space was very small. The bathroom was basic, certainly not luxurious as had been sold to us by Kuoni our travel agent. When we opened the balcony door to have a look out to the ocean, I didn't know which way to look it was non existent. To top it off there was a bug on the bed so the room didn't even look clean. We called down to reception and told them about the view and that we weren't happy with the room. They moved us to a full ocean View. I would argue that this was actually partial but at this point it was probably as good as we were going to get. There was no acknowledgement of our honeymoon by the hotel in way of even a congratulations, it was a very disappointing start to the holiday. We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we booked lots of tours during our short stay in Oahu. Would definitely go back to Oahu but wouldn't recommend this hotel, pictures of rooms on website are not true representations.
