Caribe Cove Resort
- What's Included
This is a group of five buildings ranging from 3 to 5 floors. The property is beautiful, built into a wet land, which does sadden me a little bit. It is generally quiet, and has a nice pool. Getting to Disney is an easy 6 mile drive. There are many restaurant choices within 10 minute drive. The only real negative, besides all the pesticides used to kill mosquitoes, is a terrible wi-fi system and a limited direct tv lineup.
We rented a 3 bedroom unit on third floor for 10 days and felt very comfortable and especially appreciated the full kitchen and screened porch. Only downside was noisy guests for a few nights during our stay. They weren't Spring breakers, just noisy adults which isn't the resorts fault in any way. We enjoyed the pool and game room and the grounds were so pretty with lots of beautiful flowers and palms. Very convenient to shops and grocery stores. 10 minutes to Disney. Also appreciated a security gate and felt safe for our kids. We will stay here again in the near future.
Love, love and love this resort. Our family consist of 4 adults (one disabled senior), an infant and a year old special needs child. We booked the 3 bedroom suite and there wasn't anything missing that you had a home. It the perfect place for families. Bring your clothes, food and you are set. You can also bring your laundry detergent, and your charcoal as they have a washer and dryer and a bbq grill. The only complaint I have was the two young ladies at the front desk. They can use an inservice on customer service. The gentleman was very accommodating and pleasant. Hight recommend!
My family and I (4 adults, 3 small children, and an elderly cat) had to evacuate due to Hurricane Irma. I had been away on a trip, so by the time I reached Florida, there were very few rooms available. I happened to find Caribe Cove online and it was a blessing! We had a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, dining area, and living room for less money than I spent on two hotel rooms when we evacuated for Hurricane Matthew! The hotel staff was gracious, competent and supportive during what was for everyone a nerve wracking time. I hope to return here under more favorable circumstances!
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at the resort and were surprised by the amount of room we had. The apartment had a master bedroom which was huge and comprised of an en-suite (bath and separate shower), walk in wardrobes (2) and doors onto a private balcony. the second bedroom was smaller but still comfortably big with queen size bed and a door into the bathroom which again had a separate shower and bath - there is also another small private balcony. The third room comprised of twin beds and shared the bathroom with bedroom 2.The apartment had a washer, dryer, large fridge/freezer, cooker etc - infact all the things you need if staying there a while. The hotel pool had adequate seating and is set alongside a natural lake - it's a nice place for a dip after a long day! There are BBQ grills around the property and some small lake areas with picnic seating although do be aware that the lakes contain alligators although this is well signed.Everything about the resort is excellent and I would definitely recommend it.
