Time for annual vacation and what a way to start your holiday. Made very welcome at the reception desk, and Ana was great, found us a lovely suite and everything in the rooms were great! This is a great location for all the usual attractions and parks, and the staff and management do all their best to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Well done to Ana who went above and beyond to make sure we have a great vacation.
We booked this hotel for a week long stay in the Orlando area. We were very comfortable there. It had a separate sink set up in the bedroom, which made getting ready very convenient. There was only 2 of us, but there was plenty of room for a family. The staff, both in the lobby and housekeeping, was always very friendly and helpful. The location was fun, being right next to Old Town and all the activities there. Although this hotel could use some updating, it was clean and very comfortable. I was very happy with the value we enjoyed. We would stay there again for sure!
After booking through Travelocity and thinking we were paid in full, we arrive to be charged a deposit and a resort fee. The resort fee is because it is a "Wyndham Resort". (A resort is a self-contained commercial establishment that tries to provide most of a vacationer's wants, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping, on the premises. The term resort may be used for a hotel property that provides an array of amenities, typically including entertainment and recreational activities.) I expect more from Wyndham than this overpriced low end hotel. Our phone did not even work in our room. Their were several issues in the bathroom that need addressed by the property. On the day we were to check out the maids kept coming and beating on the door. Check out is not until 11 am. This started at 8:30 waking our kids up. If the dead bolt is locked why create such a fuss. Its just rude, unprofessional, and uncalled for. Their was a storm on our last night at the hotel and the pool was closed for safety (I totally understand that). But it was never reopened. Upon check out we were told a manager would be in touch and 3 weeks later still no call. We called back a week after our stay and spoke to someone that was going to have a manager call and still no return call. So good luck with any issues you may have.
I had a great experience at this hotel.Graat Hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, I leave my thanks mainly to Vanessa. She was amazing.I'll return to Orlando and will stay at Celebrations Suites for sure
My family and I arrived at the hotel around 1:30 last Thursday. We drove 9 hours to get there and they wanted to charge me extra if we checked in before 4:00. My email confirmation stated one price and when we got there they wanted to charge me almost $140.00 more. Spoke with the supervisor and she stated she would handle it at check in time. Well at 4:00 we went back to check in and needless to say she acted like I was crazy. She still argued with me about the amount and I even showed her the email again. We had 4 tired adults, 2 aggravated kids, and one irritated dog, so I paid what they asked for, which was more than my confirmation email. I enjoyed the stay, but staff was awful!! Doubt I will stay there again and I let them know it at check in!!!
