We couldn't believe the size of the room when we arrived. For under $75 a night(before taxes), this was more than we expected for our 5 night stay. Newley updated, Full kitchen with dishwasher, full fridge, oven, microwave and table for four. Our room had two queens, a pullout couch and Murphy bed.The bathroom was clean and big enough for a family of 4. We had a balcony off of our room that overlooked one of the pools. The pool area was a bit noisy at night with families and parties celebrating and grilling. Luckily our AC unit had just the right amount of white noise to block out any potential issues. The shuttle service is perfect if you do not have a car with you, but take travel time into consideration. We were very pleased with how close the hotel was to the parks and had little issue with traffic to get to where we were going. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance if you have forgotten anything. Being next to Old Town, there is plenty to do if you have extra time. We visited Disney and Universal from opening to closing with no "Special Disney extra hour perks". We were fully exhausted and done each day and couldn't have spent another minute of time if we wanted to. With the prices you pay to get into the parks, I see no reason to stay in a Disney hotel! This is the place to be!
This hotel was amazing! It was in a great location, right on the strip with all the gift shops. We had a two bedroom suite, with a full kitchen. Our fridge ended up not working about 10:30 at night. Maintenance came up within 10 mins of being notified, when he can't fix it, they brought us a new one at 11:00 at night. The staff was amazing! We ended up checking out and later that day decided to stay another night. Larissa, which was the lady we checked in with, upgraded us to a three bedroom suite for that night. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
Arrived at the hotel and lobby was super nice. Got our room key and it didn't have the king size bed I thought we'd booked, but staff was super helpful and got us another room. The complex itself is spread out, but all amenities are available to all guests regardless of which section you're in. Rooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Our suite had a murphy bed, sleeper sofa and separate bedroom. Dual cooktop, dishwasher and full size fridge in the kitchen.Sink in the bathroom and the bedroom. TV in both living area and bedroom. It was relatively quiet considering it backs up to Olde Towne (a shopping/amusement park) Definitely a nice place to stay and when we go back to Orlando, it will be on the top of our list.
I booked on Hotwire. We were going to Universal and wanted something not to expensive. This was $42.00 with are sort fee of $11.00 a night. Watch the resort fees they can be pricey. If you are not hanging out at the hotel no need to pay a ton. This hotel is on the side of Old Towne. It's a fun place at night for families. Tons of activities and free music and events sometimes. It's a pain to park at sometimes. Ask for a building close to old town if it interests you. There's 20 buildings on this property. This is NOT fancy. You will not be wowed in the lobby like at the Marriott. But they were really friendly. It's 2 floors , no elevators. I asked for 1st floor. Caroline was a sweety. We booked a one bedroom. She gave us a 2 bedroom handicapped room. The room and bathroom were clean, a kitchenette. There were kings in both bedrooms. Murphy bed and foldout sofa in the living room. Interesting no tv in the living room. The bathroom had a handicapped shower, 2 spray heads and bench. This hotel was dated but it was clean, inexpensive and great location. It's close to the interstate so you can get to any parks easily( remember, tourist town, 3:30-5:30 traffic can get bad) Bronson highway has every restaurant, gift shop, Walmart you could want.
Big motel style place .Stayed 2 weeks to visit theme parks in the area.Ideal location for all parks Disney, Universal, Seaworld and Gatorland all within 20 minute drive. The hotel does free transfers to and from Disney ,Universal and Seaworld so if you don't drive it's perfect. Reception is always busy as there are so many rooms but you can call from your room free and it's faster. They do charge a $70deposit to your card on check in but refund at checkout after maid checks room. Some rooms have been updated and are fine. ABCD block looks tired and is nearest the road. Rooms by reception have all been updated but they may be noisy as near the Old Town which is busy at weekends. If you ask for a quiet room they will accommodate you if possible.Site has 3 pools and the best was in JK block and generally they are quiet as most people are at theme parks until late. Some pools also have ice machines and BBQ areas to use as you wish. Rooms start from 1 bed to 2 bed suites which also have a double pull down bed in the lounge, ideal for family groups. All rooms also have 2 hob plates microwave and fridge/freezer and coffee mc. Maids clean daily and towels toiletries and coffee and throwaway cups restocked. 1 tv in each bedroom but none in kitchen lounge area. All rooms have patio area and a massive electronic safe and efficient aircon too. As said some rooms are a little dated but overall it's clean and great value. I would return . PS: Wi fi signal is brilliant even by the pool and you get free towels at the pool too !
