Front desk staff was extremely rude especially the manager! Manager was heard multiple times yelling at other customers on the phone. Charged us $25 to check in 1.5 hours early even though our room was ready. Breakfast was lacking big time. 2 of our 3 mornings, they only had toast or make your own waffle. Pool is across the parking lot. Directed us to an out of order elevator for our 3 floor room. Sofa bed had no sheets, took an hour to get them to us. So called complimentary shuttle is a joke!!! It does not go the airport. Also, it has such a strict schedule that it was completely useless. Doesn't even go to Disney property until an hour after park opening and picks up there before the park even closes! Room was dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
We stayed here for 8 nights this month as a family of four. The beds are doubles only which we aren't used to in florida and although we are two normal sized adults we felt they were small. Our air conditioning worked well but was incredibly loud and vibrated when it clicked on and off, on fact we could hear our neighbours air conditioning doing the same. The rooms have a hairdryer and ironing facilities and there is a laundry facility downstairs. It has a small shop that sells basics such as laundry products, drinks Crisps etc. The WiFi worked well although I believe the further you are from the reception the worse it is. The reception have staff that can get cheap tickets for many attractions and we used this facility for the space centre and medieval times. Location wise this hotel is in a great spot close to petrol stations, restaurants, a publix supermarket (great for sandwiches to take into the parks) fast food places, gift shops and the major theme parks and nearby. We booked through hotels.com and the address provided of 192 West would not come up on the Sat nav it is West bronson memorial way like it says on here. There was no safe in the room (we actually changed room halfway due to a rude loud family bounding a ball and shouting throughout the night despite the staff trying to quiet them down.) It is a noisy place to stay due to the open plan motel layout, people locking their cars (when it beeps) and coming in late at night making a lot of noise with suitcases etc. We didn't use the pool although it had nice furniture and was always in use so looked good. The breakfast was good.. Make your own waffles, toasts, drinks, Yoghurt, sweet pastries and egg, sausage etc . Although the area is too small to get in to and often there was nowhere for us to sit and eat. My recommendation is they have some tables for two as often one or two people would take up a table for four. But the breakfast is complimentary so I couldn't complain. The beds were very comfortable but only a double so felt very small for the adults. The price we paid was great and you get what you pay for. So this is price and location perfect.
Do not stay at this hotel! We reserved one night for a trip to Disney with the kids. When we arrived we were given keys to an occupied room - luckily the room was dark when my kids opened the door! It then took the front desk staff nearly 2 hours to get us a room - and it was not the same accommodations that we reserved. Their attitude was "take it or leave it". Well when you are 2 hours from home and it is 10 PM with kids, you are stuck. Don't waste your time with the owner - Kevin Pham, he is just as rude. Hotel is clean, breakfast is decent but customer service is TERRIBLE.
Newly renovated.. Staff was great!! Erica at the front desk was so sweet!! All the staff seemed friendly.. Room was clean... Highly recommend!! Definitely works stay again.. Breakfast was really good!!
Our stay at the Quality Inn & Suites Kissimee : By the lake was a terrible experience. We started our stay and arrived to a very small room that was "remodeled". The room contained the normal TV, Fridge and Microwave. The pool was our first stop as it was so hot out. It had some fun furniture to sit on and was a overall nice area. We went back to our room for the night and heard a weird quiet grinding noise for a few seconds and then the worst loud grinding noise I have ever heard. I thought it was an ice machine at first but it happened to be the elevator. We listened to this noise at least 20 times an hour until around 11:30pm when we went to talk to management because we couldn't sleep. There was only 1 worker on duty and tons of people having room issues. The worker told us all they could do is move us to a new room. As we moved upstairs to our new room, two of our family members tried using the elevator. It opened as usual and made the weird noise. When they got out on the second floor, there were signs that said "Elevator out of service". Seemed like the elevator should have been shut off as it was not safe. I do not feel like the staff cared about the safety of the guests when we say this. We got to the new room at about 11:30pm. Everything seemed normal until we turned the A/C on and heard another loud clanking noise. That noise continued all night as long as we wanted the A/C on beaucuse of the heat. The next morning we went to the "Continetial Breakfast" and arrived at what was about 100 people crammed into the lobby moving back a forth from a tiny room in the corner that contained the "food". The food was terrible. The eggs were dry, apple juice was watered down, meat was hard and the coffee was just awful. This is when we decided to head out as we were just done. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.Pros: PoolCons: Small Rooms, Terrible Breakfast, Safety taken lightly
