Great stay

Very nice hotel very clean and quiet. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is nice too you can get a little bit of everything. Parks are close by. I definitely will stay again. The room that I originally booked was not available at the time of check in but front desk was able to give us another one similar.

Worst customer service EVER!

I recently stayed at this property through a reservation made through Expedia with the option to pay at the hotel NOT Expedia... we needed to check out 2 days earlier than expected so I talked the front desk the day before our new expected check out date and was told I needed to contact Expedia, ok so I did and was given confirmation by Expedia that my early c/o was approved by Erica and that I "was all set"... nope... I went to check out the next morning and WASNT greeted very friendly at all by the front desk clerk Grace Ruffo, who was very rude and lacked quality customer service. I explained to her all that had happened and she simply turned the computer around and said "you're checked in until this day and I can not check you out" her exact words. I asked her as a hotel representative if she would call Expedia, she said No, she couldn't... I asked for her supervisor or manager and she shrugged her shoulders at me and said he wasn't there... I asked her to call him and she said No, she didn't have his number... really? Really!? You don't have your managers number!? What type of hotel is this? Over 200 rooms on property and NO MANAGER OVER AN ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!??? Ok. Only after her causing me much distress and me having to raise my voice a few times did she finally call Expedia... while grace was on the phone with Expedia she told them she didn't want to "deal with me anymore" (again, great customer service) whilst grace was on hold with Expedia an older gentleman (employee, possible houseman) came up behind the desk and started discussing me and my situation with grace in another language which is completely rude!!! I asked for them to speak in English while they were talking about MY situation so that I could understand and older man told me that "they could speak in any language they wanted" uneffinbelievable! THEN a short Asian woman came out from the back, because she needed to be involved but was absolutely no help whatsoever, don't even know who or what her position was because she said "she didn't have to give me her name"... my check out experience took 2 hours! Totally unacceptable!!!! How can the owner of this property allow such horrible service?My check in experience wasn't all that great either... Dennis had no personality, I was not greeted as he seemed bothered that he had to check me in... the room wasn't all that clean either! Long black hairs all over the bathroom and the floor needed to be vacuumed very badly. Terrible stayTerrible guest serviceWill never go back!

Just Plain Weird

It was clearly visible that the Quality Inn & Suites Kissimmee by The Lake underwent a decor update. However, the update collides with the Inn’s architecture. Both the lobby and room are poorly configured to meet the Inn’s historical physical design. The suite’s furniture, bathroom fixtures, and amenities all appeared updated, excepting the carpet. There was a stench in the air that smelled of aged carpet, possibly the overuse of carpet deodorizer. The corridors to the single elevator shaft were without lightening on floors one and three. It was very dark and I felt unsafe. I was startled when an Inn employee existed an employee only space. There are hotel/Inn services that should not be apparent to its guests. There were mounds of garbage overflowing the cans, piled 8 to 10 feet high. Following the Inn’s noisy morning trash pickup, mounds of garbage remained on the ground - strange. Laundry, maintenance, and employee lounge entrances were all open to the public - strange.The continental breakfast... well... we passed and visited the local Chic-fil-A. The make shift lounge area staged in the lobby... let me stop here and conclude my family’s visit. The Quality Inn & Suites Kissimmee by The Lake is just plain weird and not worth it’s value.

Decent hotel for the budget minded at Disney World

A very nice clean room and adequate large breakfast bar awaits the frugal Disney traveler. Very close to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. The beds were good and the bathroom very clean. If your travel plans include spending very little time at your motel, this is a great choice. Great value for a nice place to sleep and have a decent breakfast before hitting Mouse land.

Decent but not great. Room was clean, except for carpet, it was quite dirty. Room was VERY small. 2 adults, an 8 yr old, & a teenager. Was tough getting ready in the morning. Breakfast was good, but it too was a small area - super crowded getting food, but they kept everything well stocked and it was clean.
