Got this holiday from thomas cook with an airtours package have to say was a little worried after reading a lot of negative reviews however for our stay couldn't complain at all staff were very friendly on check in and check out home keeping were there every day and the room smelled fresh to walk in to yes the decor old but it was really comfortable and clean slept really well. The only down side was the aircon was a little noisy so couldn't sleep with it on and it's been quite hot at night but definitely would visit again we had room 204 would recommend
Do not allow the pictures to mislead you!!! I came to this hotel based on the ratings and the location. I planned our summer trip, with my two children, based on that. Upon arrival, there was a long line, due to the front desk being short staffed and unfriendly ----Not very " family friendly" with two young children. Get the room settled, drive back and we are greeted with stacks upon stacks of mattresses. Seeing that I'm w mom with two small kids, I was placed in an UPSTAIRS room, which worked out wonderfully with unloading luggage! 😒When we arrived to the room, we were smacked in the face by the smell of mold, due to the air conditioner leaking water all over the entrance to the room. So as I call the front desk and no one answers, I have to bring my luggage and two children back down stairs, around the piles of mattresses, back up front. My room was changed to a bottom floor, but this one was just as bad. The decor didn't match, the beds were practically on the floor and the everything was out dated. I won't ever go back again, nor will I refer anyone to this hotel. It was the worst accommodation I've ever had!!
Do not stay here!!! I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago with no issues. It is an older hotel but was ok for one night. Me and my daughters were at this hotel in May and as I checked in guests were at front desk complaining of a variety of issues. I continued my check in and we went to our room. Missing light bulbs in lamps...no mattress cover on one of the beds...same bed was broken and my oldest daughter could hardly walk the next day after sleeping...her bed had hair on the sheets...room and bathroom were dirty. I immediately complained when hair was found in daughter's made up bed. Front desk said they could bring me sheets. I stated that someone needs to make the bed and she replied there was no one available. After a long wait a guy brought me 4 flat sheets....I placed 3 on the bed for my daughter to sleep on and she had a sheet for cover. They brought no clean blanket. No clean pillowcases. I just threw it all in the floor and my daughter used her pillow from home. After speaking with manager I got room for half price. Upon checkout the next day I spoke with daytime manager and informed him that theBoard of health needed to be called to his hotel. He offered me and my girls free breakfast and I declined as there was no way I'd eat food from this nasty hotel. I requested a full refund for my room and was granted such. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I do not recommend anyone else staying here.
Last minute booking...Did not know the area well and the staff was incredibly helpful with directions and in general very helpful with every kind of need that I had!..Even printed out directions for a rental car facility that was WAY out there!...Room was clean and bathroom was clean...Pool area was very large and there was a great gift shop and snack area when you checked in!...Basically a great hotel with a great staff!
The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service you can imagine.... The Front desk manager Diana doesn't care for her job or customers.... I made my reservations to stay here on March 14, 2017, I was due to check in on April 8th, 2017. I let them know I am HIGHLY allergic to Frabric softener and require NEW LINEN in my room..... I got there on 4/8/17 @4:23 pm and checked in.... I went up to my room to used the bathroom, I went into the room and used the restroom, washed my hands and wiped my hands on a towel, I MMEDIATELY broke out in hives.... I contacted the front desk about the issue and was out on what they thought was HOLD while the desk attendant talked to the manager, of which I heard her say "We don't have new linen, and if she's allergic why didn't she bring her own"... was walking to the desk at this point and when the attendant came back to the phone I told her to tell the manager I was coming to talk to her.... I got downstairs and she was nowhere to be found, they radioed to her and it took her 15 mins to get back to the desk.... The attendant informed her I was breaking out and she said "OK, What do she expect me to do"! When she FINALLY got to me she claims that my reservation didn't specify an allergy, I showed her that was a lie because it was stated in the email... She then said "well why didn't you call and I woulda told you we don't have new linen because we have to order it" I told her you had almost a month to let me know you couldn't accommodate me or order new linen so that's no excuse... Meanwhile I'm digging in my skin scratching, and she NEVER ONCE asked if I was ok, did I want an ambulance, or APOLOGIZE for their mess up.... What she did say is I'll refund your money and you can go someplace else that's all I can do... Well there lies a problem seeing that this was SPRING BREAK, all rooms were booked solid, and I was traveling with my 3 son's ages 17, 13 and 11.... We had driven 7.5 hours to get there from Charleston SC, we were staying 8 days and it's almost 5pm at this point.... At this point my boys were still up in the room... I went and sat in my car and called around looking for another hotel of which there was nothing available in Kissimmee, Orlando, or Downtown Orlando.. Diana then calls my phone and asked "do you plan on staying here or not", my response was well you can't accommodate me, she then said "well someone is in the room and housekeeping needs to get in there and tidy it up because we have sold that room" My response was then why did you ask me if I was staying... I then told her I will call my boys to come out the room, she then said "we if they aren't out in 20 mins I will have to charge your card for the nights stay", I responded I wish you would and hung up on her!!!! My boys called me and asked me what happened because SECURITY was there telling them they had to vacate the room!!! YES SECURITY!!! And the Security person escorted them to my vehicle.... Can you believe this??? I went back inside and asked for the Corporate number and was told to LOOK ON THE WEBSITE!!!! Diana then begins to say, "I don't know what else you want from us I refunded you your money" so I told her about her horrible attitude and Customer service and that she alone RUINED my trip with my children and I explained she never apologized, or showed ANY kind if concern and she could have at least pointed me to someplace to get some benadryl, she then blows my mind by saying "we have benadryl FOR SALE in our gift shop", I told her FOR SALE!!! You're kidding right, are you serious, you should be throwing it at me by the bucket, And I walked out!!! For the next 4 days I could barely swallow because my throught was so red and irritated, I was spitting up bloodclots and couldn't eat!!!! BUT I did find a room finally (after 5 hours of calling around), at Extended Stay even though it was 45 mins away from Orlando, in a town called Maitland.... And by the way I did find out the Corporate information and contacted them, they had the NERVE to offer me a free 4 day stay, UMMMMMMM NOT EVER WILL I EVER COME BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!
