I was so worried... HOWEVER

I was accidently booked into this hotel because of an error with a 3rd party website, and ended up having to stay at the Seralago. I was very upset because I had read the reviews and seen the pictures of the hotel and I was so nervous to what I was going to walk into... Well, it was not bad and the first desk was so helpful and made sure we checked in with no problems. This is not a 5 star hotel, it is an expensive hotel where you go and lay your head after a long day at the park and it's perfect just for that. The beds were comfy and I felt safe, which is huge for me. It still needs some upgrading, as our Microwave was very very old. We had to get maintenance to our room because our room door stopped working, however they worked on it and solved it very fast.If you're traveling on a budget and bump into this hotel, book with them.

Extremely Surprised and Delighted

My family and I booked a late stay days before arrival and we were able to upgrade to the 2 room suite. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and there was enough room for the family to move around comfortably. In the evening, we were able to visit Old Town and enjoy the car show. As a annual pass holder to all the parks, we've been searching for another hotel close to the activities that met all our needs. Seralago more than fulfilled and exceeded our expectations and within such a comfortable budget. Both Shandra and Helen were so helpful. Thanks for making our stay so memorable and pleasant. As Florida residents, we certainly plan on returning to the parks many many times throughout the coming months and we know just where to stay.Sincerely,R. White

Economy and very clean.

I was worried for some reviews but the truth is that the rooms were a little outdated but they were VERY CLEAN and that was my biggest concern. The facilities were nice and clean as well . The location was great too. I would definitely recommend it.

You get less than you pay for.

We have stayed at this location for 23 years. Originally it was part of a national chain. We stayed here because it was convenient to attractions, pet friendly, a fair price and in reasonable condition. In the past couple of years it has gone down hill. For some reason, house keeping can't count. They leave bath towels, hand towels but never enough wash cloths. This year we stayed 12 nights. The first 6 days were OK but then trouble started. One night there were no wash cloths, the sink area had not been cleaned and the garbage not touched so I went to the front desk. The next day, perhaps out of spite for my complaint, our room was not touched at all. I complained again. After that everything was fine but I would have 6 bath towels, 7 hand towels and 1 washcloth.Even a wipe with a damp cloth would go a long way to cleaning the rooms. There was dust everywhere, scuff marks and dirt on the furniture and dirt in the corners of the bathroom all of which a simple wiping would cure. The air conditioning worked well but was literally hanging off the wall. All room entrance doors need painting so if this is your first impression, it's a bad one.Security used to be visible all night. We didn't see any this year.I hope they improve but for now it is not fair value for money paid.

AC did not work

This hotel is nice, we ended up staying here because it was spring break weekend and everything else was full. The rooms are a little dated. I am talking 1950 turn knob lights. The only thing that really bothered me was the AC didn't work right and was falling off the wall. We did not sleep well because it was to hot! Also the color scheme is very loud. It gave me a headache. All in all it was okay for the price. At least the hot tub worked and was pretty good size. It is also located very close to everything which is nice as well.
