Quiet and peaceful place to stay if you are very retiring

There is not much to say about this accommodation except it was older and dated. Now they have confused everyone so that you are not able to check in at the property but at a shopping center a mile or so away. Probably was because there was nothing much happening at this very quiet place not close to many amenities. Would not recommend to anyone!

Beautiful property, near the golf course. No ocean view, but seashore was a short, easy drive. Wonderful shopping center nearby - ABC Gourmet Grocery & Wines was our favorite. We love the Kona side of the Big Island - easy to get to Hawi and Up Country. If you are there on a Saturday, don't miss the great "locals" farmers market in Hawi. We were lucky enough to get a tour of a local goat dairy near Honoka'a and go to the Farmers market in Waimea.

Still good, but not as good 2 yrs ago.

2 yrs ago our first visit to this place is out of expectation. Very nice room, well designed floor plan, new furniture and appliances, beautiful view and landscape.Since we have good experience last time, so at this vacation we pick this location even without thinking about other place. And we paid a higher room choice than last time .This time it is still very good, much better than average, but some changes made it not as flawless as previous time. First change is they are no longer provide 24/7 onsite service, and move their office to the 2nd floor of Queen's Market Place.They said something about another company I don't really get. I am so glad I make a call to them before the visit, otherwise we will be in trouble of lock out from the property or cannot find their office.Second, they have a $170ish cleaning fees per visit. When I booked it from Expedia, the fee is not calculated with the room rate, it is hidden in the fine print after booking completed. With such additional cleaning fee, they do a final cleaning before visitor comes in, but no longer provide daily cleaning or towel replenishment.I can see where the fee goes, the room is well cleaned before we arrive, and they does provide enough towel for our 3 days stay, but that is a little bit like Airbnb, not like a resort should do. If a business is running a luxury resort, guests expect the service like a typical resort or hotel should have. Third. (Doesn't bother me a lot, just my thought ) the villa have great layout design and build quality, surrounded by amazing flowers, trees and shrubs. They have marble counter top, beautiful bathroom. Definitely a luxury level of property. But the appliance and furniture doesn't really matches the luxury level of this wonderful building, the furniture pick is not even reach the level of IKEA. If I have a house like this the furniture would be from Ethan Allan, and if I am renting it out it should be JCPanney level. Even Ikea could provide a better stronger furniture. Owner should really invest something on the furnitures and appliances.Overall, it is still very good choice. Large, clean, quiet, beautiful view, gated community, have pool, not too far from the sea. I would give it 90 out of 100 point.It is still way better than another Aston Maui Hill we stayed in Maui. I hope they should do some upgrade to maintains the property in a good shape.I still recommend this place over the Hillton nearby. Especially for family or friends that needs more than one bedrooms.

Great for a family and convienience!!

The location is great!! Short drive to many amazing snorkeling and sandy beaches. Close to many restaurants and shopping. We had a two bedroom "condo" and the space was perfect for our family of 5. The furniture and fixtures were all on the older side, but for the amount of time we were actually in the room it didn't bother us. We were in Hawaii to experience the island not sit in the room. The lanai was beautiful and the grounds were kept well. We wished there would have been water in the ponds that our room over looked, but they were under maintenance. The pool was small but a perfect place to take the kids after dinner for a before bed swim. Parking was perfect! Close to the building. We also like that it was a safe gated community.

A bit of a let down

The location is amazing but the actual room was not. The room was mismatched. Many different sized blinds, the door did not work and there were ants. When we entered there were notes taped next to the issues. We had to go down to the main office and report the issues. ( office not on property) If the main ten ever crew found issues why weren't they fixed and why did we have to do it? I am not sure. The pool was drained due to a body fluid spill but took over 48 hours to drain? Not sure how long it took to refill and get back working. As I said it was a great location but disappointing. Most pictures shown on their Facebook page didn't look like they were taken on property but in walking distance. There are many options on the island. Not sure I would come back here.
