We enjoyed a fantastic stay here, and would recommend the property to anyone. Our condo was a spacious 2 bed, 2.5 bath- more than enough room for 2 couples to spread out and relax. Our patio overlooked the golf course which was such a relaxing view to start and end each day! One of my favorite things about this property was the 5 minute walk to the Hilton's amenities, and a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The property manager was organized and very easily accessible for questions. We could've stayed here much longer!
The room was very spacious. Large living room with a nice updated kitchen. In the room I was in had a nice sound system to go with the place. The master bedroom was very comfortable and must say loved the open shower. It didn’t feel cramped at all and felt very relaxed. My room was close to the entrance of the condo’s and had its own private parking in the front, so it was nice to come and go.
Had a great stay at the Shores at Waikoloa. It's a beautiful property about 20-25 mins from Kona airport. The property is very well maintained and the villas were really nicely done and spacious. Lovely kitchen/ living space, bedrooms, and nice bathroom. Loved the little outdoor private patio as well. There are tennis courts and a pool and the staff were very helpful. Waikoloa itself is nice with the King and Queens shopping centers and couple other large hotels (Hilton, Marriott). The Queens shopping center has a nice grocery store, Island Gourmet as well as a Food Court and restaurants which was convenient. There is one beach close by and of course, plenty within driving distance. Enjoyed our stay!
I loved my stay here in March/April 2015. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The furniture was outdated but who cares it was CLEAN and we hardly stayed home, the view from our balcony was so pretty, definitely ask for a upper floor apartment. my only complaint would be that one bedroom was advertise as a king and it definitelywas not a king it was more of a queen but that was the only problem with the place. I would definitely recommend and go again.**I PUT MY TRAVEL AS SEPTEMBER 2015 B/C THAT"S AS FAR BACK AS THEY WOULD LET ME GO***
When me and my uncle first pulled up to the place, it was a great first impression. Everything was nice, with the plants and the fountains. Not just the outside scenery, but the Inside of the rooms were outstanding. We staying in the building closet to the tennis courts, on the second floor. From our room, we could see the main office. I dont remember the room number however. Anyway.. The plates and silverware seemed clean and everything seemed orderly. The big bath tub was really to my liking as with all the mirrors. Everything about the room was perfect to us. However, Im not sure if Its just me but I seem to have had a ghostly encounter. Me and my uncle stayed two nights. On the first night, we watched movies until about twelve, when I finally decided to go to sleep. I took the one bedroom, and my uncle slept on the couch. Later at about four in the morning, I suddenly woke up from a nightmare. I couldnt remember it but It had me very scared. Now, this is very unusual for me. This was only the second time in my life that I have been woken up scared from a dream. I brushed this off, calmed myself down and went back to sleep. about 20-40 minutes later, Im woken up again but this time. I wasnt able to move, I wasnt able to speak. though I tried. I was really scared because right next to the bed where I laid, I was hearing fast and loud thumping sounds on the floor. Its almost as if someone really heavy was running really fast right next to me. I remember trying really desperately to scream but couldnt find my voice. after about 10 seconds of the phenomenon I ended up yelling "leave" as I sprung up from the bed. After that, there was no way I could go back to sleep so I stayed up from there. Then after alot of thought, I remembered a small incident that had happened the day I had arrived, but initially I brushed it off. As me and my uncle explored the rooms, I was in the bathroom as he was in the living room. I swear, I heard him say something. I couldnt make out the words or word but. atleast I heard a mans voice.... though when I asked my uncle if he had said something, he said no. He was just quietly reading through some papers we had gotten from the office. It was off putting but I just told myself it was my imagination. As for the second night, I didnt want to sleep but I was really tired..so I ended up sleeping with the lights on and before sleeping, I ended up just saying aloud in the room that whatever may be there isnt welcomed and that It needs to leave me alone.... I was told that if I was ever bothered by a ghost, I just had to tell it to go away. soo. I tried it. Luckily the night went without incident. Honestly, If whoever is reading this wants to just write this off as some girls imagination, fine.. but am I the only one whos had this kind of experience here? Is it possible for some rooms to be haunted? I wonder.... though, other than that. Everything else about the place is great, from the service to the room quality.
