We had two weeks at this hotel and it was wonderful, security was topps, we had a leaky tap told reception when i got back to our room from reception the maintenance man was waiting for us, and the leak was fixed, the food at the hotel was awful breakfast was very dry not much to choose from, really nasty food and no one shows where anything is very poor service so only ate there once, beautiful clean rooms with white sheets on the beds lovely clean towels our cleaner was a lovely lady so we gave her a big tip she deserved it, always met her with a wave or a goodmorning a happy lady, 2 pools both lovely and warm, and the whole hotel site was immaculatly kept, gardeners were always working on it beautiful ground with beautiful ponds, really cant praise this hotel enough the front desk was so helpful all the time, nothing was left any complaints were dealt with efficiantly and fast, love this hotel and will deffinatly go here again with out a doubt,
My overall experience was brilliant, staff were brilliant, transfers to and from the theme parks were really good, hotel room was very nice and access to and from the room were really good and also no issues for those with mobility issues.Anything you want to know pass me a message.
Great location, hotel security good and great room prices. Two outdoor swimming pools, towels provided, Rooms spacious with two queen/king size beds, room safe, fridge, coffee/ tea facilities, adequate bathroom with bath/shower, vanity unit, restaurant food good both breakfast and evening meals good, Loads of restaurants nearby.Down side when hotel full/ busy internet rubbish,When hotel quite i.e. Guest at parks, early hrs am etc internet good. Restaurant was like eating in a school canteen with all the kids running around. And in need of a revamp. Overall great place to stay for families as parks and great shopping close by and hotel operates a shuttle bus
Location: really handy for both Disney and Universal.Room: a bit dated and could do with a bit of udpating and fixing of little things (like the toilet roll holder was lose and wobbling on the wall). 2 queen size beds in the room which were very comfortable. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker which were very handy. Hairdryer was provided but overheated after a couple of minutes and took ages to cool down enough to start up again. Staff: we didn't have a bad experience with any staff but didn't exactly feel very welcomed either. We arrived at 10pm (which was 3am for us!) and were dealt with reasonably quickly but given very unclear directions to the room so we got a bit lost. We weren't told about some facilities on site and felt they could have done a lot more to keep us informed about procedure during Hurricane Matthew. Food: we didn't pay extra for the breakfast so can't comment on it other than it was $8.99. Only had dinner in the bar/bistro once and it wasn't great but since no where else was open because of the hurricane it did the job.Pool: I never had a problem getting a lounger but then it was off season and I normally didn't head to it until late afternoon. It stays open until 10pm which is a nice change for a hotel. Plenty of towels freely available beside the pool which was good.
Hotel is in a good location close to many restaurants and Disney parks. It served it's purpose as a place sleep and get ready for the day. They charge a 14% service charge on restaurant and bar bills maybe because some people aren't good tippers. The security booth out front was a plus. If I did come back to the area I would check into a different hotel.
