Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
- What's Included
I chose this hotel for a Girls' Trip to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. All of the ladies commented on how wonderful the room was, and it was very convenient to the Disney parks. All of the staff we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and kind. Rafael was working at the desk when I had to check out a little early due to a sick baby at home and he was very accommodating! I am already planning another trip to the resort!
My honest review. Arrived after a long day traveling and check in was easy thanks to friendly staff. When we got to the room we where amazed at how amazing the room was. From the Jacuzzi bath to the beds to the kitchen utensils everything was perfect. We had a great view overlooking pool. Only thing I can say might improve the room is having a welcome pack with things to do locally and on site. Also everything about the room. The pool bar was excellent although a bit expensive. Staff are friendly and pool was brilliant. Kids loved the pirate slide. Frankie Farrell bar was a gift. Excellent food and service. My partner even said it was the best fish and chips she's ever had. My only issue was the coach service. Not once did it turn up on time. On average over 20 minutes late every day. In 100 degree heat with no shade or seats it was the only let down. Told to be there for 10.25 for 10.40 coach whiched constantly arrived after 11. Maybe just change the pick up time would stop this. We used taxis back from the park lyft averaged about 19 dollars as there was 5 of us. Family of 4 was about 12 dollars. Consider parking is roughly 20 it's very cheap. Also try to avoid on site shop. Expensive is being kind. They charge more than inside disney parks. Not sure if it's linked to hotel or outside trader but it does not need to be so expansive. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I meet and will definitely be back soon.
I don't have that much to say about a tip , but I think it is common courteous to leave a tip to anyone who earns it rather than not too leave one. So, with that being said appreciation is being shown towards the individuals that clean the rooms or provide service to guest.
The condo was large. The refrigerator leaked water all over the inside and on our food. The balcony furniture was filthy. The indoor furniture was outdated worn and dirty. The remotes didn't work on some of the tv's. Dead bugs in the light fixtures and one on the ceiling was about to fall down. 2 out of 4 elevators were down.
This is a honest review of my experience, (something I could not wait to do for months) this was our first family holiday 3 children under the age of 3 as well as our honeymoon we did not know what to expect, I was first in contact with the resort 10 months before our arrival, and been in weekly contact with the resort ever since usually firing hundreds of questions on the facebook lives.. becoming more and more excited as the days become less and less. Before we arrived it had already felt like we were staying with friends and not a business. At this point it was all down to Trish!!! The months of hard work and dedication that lady spent into her facebook lives and getting back to me with my questions is something us Tiptons will never forget and have found a family friend in Trish. The day had come that we arrived to the resort, Building 4 Level 5 Room 3, the apartment was outstanding had space for all the family, somewhere to play another place to relax and a seperate space to spend time as a family. This was becoming our dream Holiday... until I accidentally put dish washer powder into my eye as you can expect my eye become bloodshot very painful and hard to see out of, I had notified the reception who quickly checked my eye made sure that there was no further powder and was washed out correctly, the front desk team then kept a further check on me throughout the day by calling up to the room and coming to check themselves. Throughout the day morning, afternoon, evening the service at front desk was exceptional and can tell they all shared the values that trish started with us 10 months ago. Frankie Farrels food is 5*, we have eaten their everyday for 13 nights and could not find anything wrong with a single meal, the people who work there such as Tony & Julie make you feel like family. We are currently sitting on the balcony of room 4503 2nd to last night planning our future stays with Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa. Thank you Trish, Thank you front desk for all your effort throughout the past 2 weeks. Look forward to staying with you very soon. The Tipton Family.
