Staybridge Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista
- What's Included
I'm a bit bewildered by some of the less than perfect reviews of this Embassy Suites and felt compelled to report on a recent visit. One must remember, it's the "little things" that count. The little things. With three small kids, Embassy Suites is always a favorite. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities along with free breakfast and an evening Happy Hour provide for a bit of adult fun. As a Hilton Honors member, there are even extra perks. And not just the bottled water at check in.A recent visit to Disney World on my birthday weekend brought some special attention from Jami C. - a guest experience champion - at this Lake Buena Vista location of Embassy Suites. Between Jami and her co-worker Elizabeth, along with James M. in food service, they made my birthday a bit more special by gathering a bunch of staff and other guests during a happy hour to sing happy birthday. Cupcakes and some complementary deserts for my kids are part of the "little things" that counted in this personal experience. Did I mention the free breakfast? This is especially important with three small kids who like to try everything. When staying at Embassy Suites, I like to go for breakfast right at opening time. Coffee, fruit and a made-to-order omelette start my day. When the kids wake up later in the morning, I bring them down for breakfast and enjoy another nibble or two myself while navigating them through their meal. And don't forget a piece of fruit for the road, or in this case - a trip to Universal Studios or Disney World. If you're the parent of little kids, then you will understand just how important the "free breakfast" is. It's not just the buffet lines or custom made omelette - it's the fact that you can eat all you want without the added expense in a tourist destination. Breakfast in Orlando can easily be an added $70 expense for a family of five.I did mention the Manager's Reception or Happy Hour. Not a bad experience and as a Hilton Honors Diamond member, we receive an upgraded experience with a better drink and some extra appetizer type items. Chips, dip, and several other food items provide for a quick snack in an otherwise expensive tourist city. And yes, my kids were at the pool within site distance as I hung out for Happy Hour. Another expense that is avoided for those hat hang out in the hotel early in the evening.Large pool, sauna, gym and fun zone. Outside movies and fun zone are a favorite of my kids. The guest shops not so much and I keep my kids away from purchasing things we don't need or already have. Hotel has free WiFi throughout the premises.Excellent service, modern and spacious suites and plenty of activities. For those in need of transportation to the parks, a free shuttle is available. Very accommodating at the front desk and even allowed an extra 90 minutes for a late check out on a two-night stay. Centrally located on the Interstate with plenty of parking and shopping nearby. This particular experience was 5 stars. Great job to Jami and kudos to her co-workers./s/ William E. Lewis Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.
We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort for a family spring break vacation. We’ve visited the Orlando/Buena Vista area many times before, but this was our first stay at the Embassy Suites. In the following message, I will describe why you should consider this hotel during your next visit to the Orlando parks area. When we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and helpful front desk and valets. During the next week, we found that the entire hotel staff, including housekeeping, security, and food & beverage were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Small things like a friendly smile or offer of assistance can turn a visit from good to great. Upon arriving at our room, we were pleased to see that the room had recently been renovated. The furniture and fixtures all appeared to be new and the A/C was quiet and kept the room nice and cool. In addition, the hotel WiFi connectivity was strong with a fast signal. I travel weekly for work and this is perhaps the best hotel WiFi I’ve used. The Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort caters to both children and adults, alike. As with other Embassy Suites properties, complimentary breakfast is offered along with happy hour in the afternoon. At the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort, the breakfast is several steps above other Embassy Suites breakfast offerings in quality and uniqueness. For example, there is a dedicated waffle bar where the cook prepares hot Mickey Mouse waffles, on demand. They’re delicious! There’s also an indoor/outdoor pool that connects to a pool play area for the kiddos. Conveniently, a patio bar sits next to the pool where parents can enjoy a cocktail while watching their kids play. In the evenings, the hotel shows cartoon movies on a gigantic screen outside near the pool. It’s fun for everyone. The location of the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort is very convenient, especially if you plan to visit Disney Parks and Universal Studios. Although a shuttle is offered by the hotel, we chose to drive. We found that the travel time to Disney Parks was less than 15 minutes. The travel time to Universal Studios is closer to 10 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby and the hotel is only 5 minutes from Disney Springs. We were extremely pleased with the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort and we will definitely stay there again. If you are looking for a hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area, you will not be disappointed with the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort. HOTEL MANAGEMENT: Please pass our gratitude along to the staff. We had a great trip!
Outstanding experience and guest service provided by Chef Steve , Elizabeth, James, Andrea,Yali, Marcella and all of the staff at the afternoon Managers Hour. All of the staff help to make the stay enjoyable and help to create great memorys and would recommend staying at this hotel.
My husband and I celebrated our 32nd aniversary here, and we're glad we did. The hotel looked just like the pictures on the website. Everyone was great from check in to checking out. Tony, I think his name was, checked us in. When he saw in the notes that it was our aniversary told us congratulations and removed the $22 resort fee. He told us that he had been married for 4yrs and his parents 40yrs. We had a king room with pool view and he even asked what floor we wanted to be on. The room was very clean and spacious. It had plantation shutters. Their was a small table with two chairs outside the door. The breakfast was delicious and the cook was awesome as he kept everyone laughing. My husband kept saying how nice everthing was. The breakfast was delicious and I have never found a hotel whose breakfast was better than the Embassy. There was a child who got hurt playing around the pool area or splash pad. He was crying and bleeding. The staff was quick to respond with ice and the manager came right away taking down what happened. I'm a nurse so it was good to see this fast response and concerned displayed. This is a great place to bring your family. Embassy keep up the good work. I can't wait to come back again and bring my family.
My wife and I stayed here with our two year old for her birthday. We took her to Disney and this place was in a great location to everything in the area. The rooms are very spacious, we were on the 6th floor in the main tower. Lots of great features and seems to have been recently upgraded. I would have given 5 stars but you can sense the place is a little old even with all the updates. I would still stay here again with no worries though. The pool area is great with the splash pad, and a cool block area with pads for more things to play with. They have an outdoor bar and can get food there as well. The breakfast is very robust and the snacks in the afternoon are a great bonus.
