Our Opinion

Not the newest or most impressive of Las Vegas resorts, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a central Strip location, Bally's is a good choice. It is located on the same corner as the Bellagio, Flamingo and Caesar's Palace and is right beside and connected to Paris Las Vegas. Renovated rooms in the Jubilee Tower are spacious and contemporary.

Overview
Bally's gives you panoramic views of the desert & mountains and its unique changing neon columns welcome you as you enter this classy wonder, the hotel that calls itself 'A city within a city.' Teeming with amenities in a superb central location on the Strip, a 1.6 mile long elevated monorail links Bally's to the MGM Grand Hotel, Casino & Theme Park.

Location: Central Strip, directly beside the Paris Las Vegas and across from the Bellagio.

Our recent stay at Bally's (10 Oct - 18 Oct 2017)

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Bally's. In general, Bally's is a nice hotel but it is looking 'tired' and could certainly do with some redecoration. We stayed in the newly decorated Jubilee Tower room 2 years ago but was very disappointed with the sound proofing of the windows as you could clearly hear the music from the Paris nightclub and kept us awake for most of our holiday. I am sure it is the same with Drais Beachclub on the otherside! This is why we decided to stay in the indigo tower this year. Pros : middle of the strip location, good size room & value for money (Indigo Tower King, Room 2141), nice pool area and due to the time of year, there were plenty of sun beds. Cons: The resort fee. This is clearly an additional charge which almost every Las Vegas hotel has now adopted. Bally's charge $32 a night including tax but some of the 5 star hotels charge nearly $40 a night . This is a complete rip off - yes, this includes using the gym facility but in reality who wants to do that on holiday!! Also only allowing 2 devices access on the hotel wifi per day per room is unacceptable in this day and age as most people will have a tablet/laptop and mobile phone. i.e allowing 2 devices per person

Great location and Jubilee jacuzzi suite

We stayed in room 5412 for six nights. The room is located in the Jubilee tower, which is a more modern tower. The room was very spacious and clean with a jacuzzi tub which came in handy after a long day of walking the strip. The pros of our stay are:Friendly staff (for the most part, see below for an example of a con)Great locationWithin walking distance of many restaurants and other casinosClose to the monorailClean roomPlenty of towels for tub and showerPool with bar service and cafe (although the cafe was closed on one of the days we went)The cons:Although Johnny Rockets is exceptional, the food court left a lot to be desired as there were very few choices. The other casinos we visited had much better food courts.Limited choices of onsite restaurantsNo room service after 1pm so make sure you eat at night before returning to your room - When inquiring about food options at night, we encountered one extremely rude front desk representative who responded that we should Google places to eat as opposed to providing us with any type of assistance or transferring us to someone who could help.Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return in the future.

Not very Impressed

We got a complimentary room from Bally's and were so disappointed. The room must be where they put the complimentary guests. Carpet was worn with tracking path, wallpaper coming off wall, chair ripped, and ceiling stain of some sort. If it wasn't a free room I would have complained. I guess we should have. It was clean. The casino is very smoke filled and warm. A small bottled water was $7.00 at the bar!! I was told they are comp with a waitress but to tip her. Good luck seeing one in your area. All in all I would not recommend staying here at all.

Good service, clean rooms but they are not fancy, fun slot machines and easy access to venues. Could have more restaurant service or better signage to direct you to them if they are there or near there.

Great stay relaxing and very accommodating!

The view from our very clean room on the 25th floor was awesome. Welcoming friendly staff and very accommodating with a late check out made it perfect. The pool was relaxing with great barside service. Never won any cash but did make some great friends!
