Our Opinion

Not the newest or most impressive of Las Vegas resorts, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a central Strip location, Bally's is a good choice. It is located on the same corner as the Bellagio, Flamingo and Caesar's Palace and is right beside and connected to Paris Las Vegas. Renovated rooms in the Jubilee Tower are spacious and contemporary.

Bally's gives you panoramic views of the desert & mountains and its unique changing neon columns welcome you as you enter this classy wonder, the hotel that calls itself 'A city within a city.' Teeming with amenities in a superb central location on the Strip, a 1.6 mile long elevated monorail links Bally's to the MGM Grand Hotel, Casino & Theme Park.

Location: Central Strip, directly beside the Paris Las Vegas and across from the Bellagio.

Almost $100 in Additional "Resort Fees", Dated, Dirty, and Chemical Odor

I booked this room in a package, and in the end, was charged an additional $98 in "Resort Fees" by Bally's (the room was expensive enough before the ridiculous additional fee!). In addition, it appears like it hasn't been updated since the late 80's or early 90's. The carpet was dingy, the furniture had stickers on it, and there were remnants from a previous guest on the carpet still. The room had a horribly strong chemical smell that made a person feel sick to their stomach. The hotel lobby looked nice, though. I have stayed at nicer hotels in Las Vegas for the same price or less...I would suggest you do the same.

Stay somewhere else

I would like to start by saying that I have stayed at Bally's a few times in the past and generally had a good experience up until my last time staying there. I booked my room 2 months in advance and had already prepaid for both nights up front. I also booked directly through their web site not a 3rd party. I had booked one room with a king size bed which was more expensive then just the standard room which I was fine with. When I arrived I waited in line for the better part of 30 minutes because they were busy but only had 3 people working behind the desk with upwards of 20 available stands that could be staffed. When one stand finally opened up I waited a few minutes for the lady to call me over but she never looked up. I walked up and stood politely for a few moments before she looked at me and very rudely said wait to be called then proceeded to walk away. When someone finally helped me I was told they were sold out of the room I reserved and prepaid for before being offered a down grade to a lesser room with NO credit for the difference. When I asked why I would be down graded when I prepaid and book 2 months ahead of time she just shrugged and said we are full do you want the room or not. I would have even been willing to pay a bit more for an upgrade if it was offered. I have stayed at Bally's in the past and had generally had a good experience however this will be the last time I stay at Bally's or any other hotel under their corporate umbrella. I STRONGLY recommend if your going to Vegas stay somewhere else. Might be a bit more but at least you will be treated better. Coming from a customer service industry myself I would have been very upset if any of my customer were treat this way or any of my employee's acted in the manner in which there desk staff acted.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bally's Las Vegas. It is a comfortable hotel that makes me feel at home. We are not fancy people and it is not upscale like some of the others. It is clean, good atmosphere, and a good location. It is located in the middle of the strip so you can walk either direction for more fun and nightlife. We enjoy that it is connected by a hallway to Paris casino and also that you can easily access the bus to Rio and also the Monorail to other casinos.

Best Brunch EVER!!!

Room was in the new wing...update and very clean. The gaming floor is very easy to navigate and the Sterling Sunday Brunch can not be beat...A must!!! The wait staff and bartenders are very knowledgeable

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

We had an awesome trip to Vegas. We try to go 2 times a year. We hadn't ever stayed at Ballys, as we figured it was getting old. We were really surprised with the redone tower room. Beautiful views, great clean room and quiet when we needed it to be quiet!! Thank you our Casino host Mary Romero, for suggestion this hotel!!!!!
