Didnt get room I booked

Booked a Non-ADA King Suite room, but when checking in they still asked if I wanted an ADA room told them no and was told that was just a normal room. Before actually going into the room I asked to get room on the same floor as my friends, they had one available and changed it for me, however it was an ADA room, room and bathroom itself is ok but taking a shower is sort of a pain in the butt because you can't adjust the height of the shower head and the water pressure is pretty low. Asked to change rooms but was told there were none available.There are no room slippers or bathrobes provided and the towels are pretty hard.Also if you want some extra glasses of water there is $1 fee plus a $5 service charge!

Kind of “boutique hotel” in Las Vegas

My partner and I spent 6 nights at this hotel located very south in the Strip; we had a nice stay but didn’t worth the money and the property was too huge for us (as all is in Las Vegas.....). Is important to notice that we went to Las Vegas for the Shows and don’t like Casinos, we don’t Smoke and prefer smaller properties.....So...It’s very connected to Mandalay Bay and that’s why you don’t feel you are in an another hotel but in other “wing” (a better one) of Mandalay’s. Pro: - Not having a Casino and lot of people smoking them....... BUT most of the times you must pass by Mandalay’s CASINO......AND ITS SMELL.......(e.g.: to take the Tram to Excalibur and get The Strip). - Quieter hotel than the average in Las Vegas. - Smell in the Lobby- Nice Lobby decor- Not too much pro to say...Cons:- IMPERSONAL hotel... (impossible to feel “at home”)- AWFUL SHOWER: good water presure but with old artifacts, so the water went to every direction....... The glass door didn’t close firmly, so the floor was flooding every time you take a shower (that happened in both suites we’ve stayed).- Awful Business Center: for using a computer means 0,70 cts PER MINUTE..... and I needed to use because my laptop was stolen in San Francisco. 0,40 cts per print sheet......- With the RESORT FEE you pay, you have NOTHING..... not water or coffee in the room included in this fee (Keurig capsule $5 each...). - Mini bar with a not to cool sign saying (in other words) “if you move anything we will charge to your room”.....and “for your personal things use the complimentary shelf provided”...... if you see the size of this shelf.......- The “exclusive” Delano pool was closed and we have to share Mandalay’s pool.- Very SOFT BEDS (we asked to be changed to another room because the first one had the matress broken..... my partner got literally sanken during the first night). The personnel were kind and made the change (impossible to remember the names because of the quantity of people working there....). I definitely -for what you get- recommend other hotels in the middle of the Strip and I will not choose this hotel if I would go again to Las Vegas.

Disappointing Experience

Very disappointed with check in today. This is my fourth stay at this hotel in the last 5 months and it has typically been a good experience. However, this morning while trying to request adjoining rooms for tonight, I was told I would need to keep coming back to the hotel throughout the hotel to check in when adjoining rooms are ready. I understand there is no guarantee of adjoining rooms but it is crazy that we cant be put in a waiting list. In addition, zero acknowledgement of being a repeat customer. Disappointing customer service especially for a hotel that is part of the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program.

very sleek, sheik rooms and a good party hotel

we felt comfortable and luxurious in the sleek hotels room. The staff was very helpful in finding places for us to eat that would appeal to our refund palette. we loved that it was quiet but yet located next to many options for fun.

Consiistently great LV property.

Stayed here multiple times through AMEX FHR program and found it to provide excellent value and service.Front desk/check in: Almost always excellent. Very professional, explain benefits well Room: usually 1 bedroom suite, size and upgrades vary but good value for most part. 1.5 baths is nice plus Comfortable bedding, furniture. Bath products could improve. Avoid adjoining rooms, zero privacy in living area. Dining: Dellas Kitchen breakfast is outstanding. Highly recommend blue crab eggs benedict.Checkout/Billing: During past 5 stays, bill has always been incorrect. Food/beverage credits almost always applied incorrectly and towards benefit of house. Please fix this, very annoying to AMEX customers. Security: glad to see they stepped it up.
