Our Opinion

The Encore Las Vegas is the second phase to the very popular Wynn Las Vegas. The rooms here are very modern and clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel itself is also very modern and chic. If you are going to hang out poolside, try to get their early as spots fill up fast. XS nightclub located in the hotel is one of Vegas' current hot spots, a great party! The Encore and Wynn are both equally a good and recommended Las Vegas resorts. Being an upscale resort of course makes it a bit more pricey, but if you want luxury this hotel should definitely be on your list.

Overview
Encore Las Vegas is a Wynn resort located next to Wynn Las Vegas on the strip. Highlights include five signature restaurants, 11 retail outlets, seven cozy bars and lounges, an ultra-chic nightclub and an opulent spa and salon. A vibrant atrium and European-inspired pool area are centerpieces of the Encore experience.

Location: Next to the Wynn on Las Vegas Blvd, across the street from the Fashion Show Mall. 10-minute drive from McCarran International Airport.

Everything was great, until....

Annual girl's trip 4/17 to 4/20. We were having a ball, the hotel is amazing, super clean, well staffed, perfect weather, etc. etc. We were comped an amazing, full meal at Allegro while playing blackjack, which was wonderful and delicious. The staff there is very chill and indulgent when you have been day drinking. Everything was going great, we were up on slots and table games. Then, on Wednesday night we were playing slots near the Surrender exit/entrance and a younger (we are both 50) very well dressed, and charming young man comes over to us, big hugs, wants to join us. I am somewhat lubricated at this point, my girlfriend less so, so it took awhile for me to hear the warning bells go off. He said he was "waiting for his friends from the club to join him" and "we looked like fun"...which, we do have a lot of fun and are appropriate etc. He stayed around us just being super charming and asking us over and over what our room number was (dude, really? no.) and ordered us drink after drink for us, which we largely ignored but did drink from. Finally, after about an hour or so of this, security came over and pulled him away and talked to him and asked him for his ID. We took this opportunity to leave the area and instantly realized that something was off with both of us, we were way, way too drunk and disoriented and needed to get up to our room. Now, we drink in Vegas, probably too much, but we also know our limits and they had been breached. The next morning we started to piece together that we had been slipped something. It is my belief that this young man wanted to "help" us up to our room after we became incapacitated, and then gain access to our safe etc. I have never, ever felt so ill in my life and we were pretty bummed out as the whole day was completely wasted because we were so very sick. Flying out of town that night was quite unpleasant. We did file a report but have not heard anything back from Encore about this matter. I am writing this report not as a slight to the hotel as it could literally happen anywhere, even at the nicest hotel in town, but in an effort to educate and warn others of predators and con men (and women too, I suppose) that are looking for happy folks to dupe and steal from. I might add that we were marks because I was obviously having a great night and my machine reflected my high credits, making my vulnerable to a thief. Be careful out there folks, and have a gambling buddy that sticks with you. If I had been alone I am scared at what could have happened. End result: our vacation hijacked and ruined by an accomplished and smooth con man, but lesson learned and please learn from my experience as well. I have to give props to Encore security for keeping an eye on the situation and creating a much needed diversion. They were obviously watching our situation and had questions about this person. Thank God. It could have all ended up so much worse.

Best Hotel in Vegas

We booked the Encore Tower King suite for 8 days - the hotel is absolutely stunning! The rooms are beautifully decorated with floor-to-ceiling views of the Las Vegas strip. Encore Tower Suites has its own exclusive entrance and registration lobby which made check-in a breeze. The concierge service is great they found us tickets for most shows were wanted to see. The casino floor is awesome, never felt overly crowded, had a great amount of bars and restaurants. The pool area is stunning but does get very packed, the only downside is the pool closes really early. Staff are very friendly and attentive, our glasses where kept filled constantly. Walking around the hotel you enjoy the amazing decor and the huge selection of designer stores/shops. The breakfast area is fantastic with a huge buffet selection, queues do get really busy but the bonus of booking in the tower suites is you do not have to queue. We had a great time at Encore, loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again!

Encore is may favorite Vegas Property

Can't say enough great things.Great service, Great restaurants, Great shows, Great rooms and the Best clubs all in one location. The hotel recently started to charge for Valet parking so I removed one star for that. No one I know that goes to Vegas is happy about this and especially the Encore and Wynn customers. Stayed there one week and I heard no less than 3 others grumble in the elevator rides up to their rooms about this new valet parking charge policy change.

3 day stay for a conference

Beautiful property! The room was quite spacious and did not lack any amenities. Check-in was mid-morning and so it was a little slow due to the number of arrivals. Checkout was a breeze. A number of dining options as well as bars nicely spaced throughout the casino.

Excellent Rooms and Staffs

I love this facility and feel safe to stay with my family. All supplies are good and enough and quick delivery when I ask them for more. Room service is very kind too. One more thing I don't like. The parking fee is so expensive. I have never paid that much. $18 per day. I am wondering when they started charging it.
