Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino
- What's Included
I've stayed at the Golden Nugget many times in the past and unfortunately this was the worst experience I've had. On Friday night they had a "rave/techo" party going on outside the property that was literally shaking our entire room. The hotel supplied ear plugs so imagine they were prepared for the noise and complaints. After about 2 hours of hearing and feeling this we called and complained to front desk. The gal on the phone was pretty rude and asked us if we have ever been to Las Vegas before and also said, "well I see you booked your room through Expedia" so not sure what she meant by that? She then said I would physically have to come down to the front desk to talk to hotel management to see if we could be moved. After waiting in line for 20 mins, they finally gave me keys to a similar room to other side of hotel. They did not offer to help us pack up our room and all our belonging so we had to deal with that hassle as well. The topper of the trip was that the pool/hotub was closed and we never got any advanced warning about this. I play in a Men's 40+ Soccer Tournament so having a hot tub for sore muscles is something our team looks forward to after games. We had then pay to go to the hotel spa instead and when we inquired with them about getting a comp due to pool closure, they said we need to go to front desk again in try to talk to them about it. Anyway, I'm done with Golden Nugget and our entire team (booked 8-10 rooms) feels the same way.
Sorry to say the overall stay was anything less than average. Was told that the additional daily resort fee of $30 covered the workout center, free bottled water in the room, free wifi, and news paper. When I asked about hot tub or sauna that was an additional $20 per day. During our stay we never saw a paper, couldn't use the gym due to injury and didn’t have our room service on Sunday. Price for room was average since the rooms were upgraded. Restaurants were very good. Great hipster type clubs and restaurants nearby in the Fremont East area. Fremont street not recommended for families with young children. Very adult oriented area.I would look for other options in the area but to get 4 star facilities you have to go elsewhere. Bill F.
Love it. Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi is the place for people's want to get away. The place is so clean clean. The staff very policies. The room is so fresh and vety good view. Highly recommend. Looking come back soon. Very happy and lot of good memory about this place. 😍😃
Stayed at the Nugget for 3 nights with a group of 6 friends. Location was great since we are not huge gamblers and not into the "party scene" at the Strip. Hotel staff was very accommodating from the time I called to get a reservation until check out. Reservation staff assisted me in booking a suite so we could all stay together. Clean, large with 2 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a living room. Downfall is our one bedroom did not get "cleaned" each day but staff was willing to get us fresh towels and water when we asked. Since some of the group had never been to Vegas before, we enjoyed the charm and uniqueness of Fremont Street. If you are looking for things to do besides gamble or drink, check out Container Park with their cute shops and eateries. The pool was closed when we visited but the pool area looks relaxing. Overall, a great experience and would stay there again!
the poker room supervisor nick was the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! he was courteous, helpful and great customer service. back home could learn a lot from hm. lots of staff were courteous and nice. food was great at the grotto, claimjumpers and the grill also vic and anthonys. i love the downtown ares with lots of thing to do in walking distance. also there's an abc convenience store which is helpful for some needs at a good price, i highly recommend the golden nuggett.
