Our Opinion
Good service and a lively casino make Harrah's a nice central Strip hotel. Great comedy venue. Recommended as a good mid-range hotel option.

Experience the action and excitement of this lively center Strip hotel. From Carnaval Court, an outdoor piazza with strolling entertainers and musicians to the large action packed casino, Harrah's easily keeps pace with the new mega resorts.

Location: Central Strip across from The Mirage and adjacent to Imperial Palace.

Great rooms

The location isn't as great as other properties, but the rooms were very nice for the price. We didn't go into Tao, but found the pool area relax, when we were finally able to find chairs, which is a problem everywhere during the summer.

Nice big room and large bathroom. Great having two TVs in room. Great location right in the middle of the strip. All staff members were friendly welcoming. Pool was big and had plenty of room and lounge chairs.

Beautiful place

Lots of charm and the rooms are top notch. Room was luxurious and even had motorized shades! We had a great time at the Venetian and would certainly stay there again. You could almost plan a whole trip and never leave the building! Awesome place.

One of the best in Vegas!

We stayed for five days and from the moment we stepped out of the car we were greeted with smiles and excellent service. Check in went quickly and we received our bags in the room in a timely manner. The rooms are nicely maintained and the bathrooms are ginormous with all the amenities one needs in a bathroom, two sinks, a separate shower and bathtub, a separate seating area to put your makeup on, the tile appeared to be travertine, and a TV.The beds were one of the most comfortable as were the pillows and I rarely like any hotel bed. Since the rooms are suites, they have a TV, sofa, table, and bar in a separate 'living room' area. The area with the two beds also had a large flat screen TV and a dresser. We had four adults in our room with no space issues what so ever. About twice the size of a normal hotel room. Of course, the Venetian resembles Venice which is one of my favorite places to visit. You see the Bell Tower immediately upon arrival and the paintings on the ceilings around the hotel are beautiful. Many amenities throughout the hotel are top notch such as the restaurants, shopping, and attractions like Madame Tussaud's or a gondola ride. The pool areas had plenty of chairs even though it seemed like the pools were exploding with guests. We happen to be there when it was 118 so literally everyone was at the pool it seemed, but we had no issues getting towels or chairs. Of course there is a price associated with luxury so don't get sticker shock. Totally worth it though in every way!!!! Everyone needs to stay at least a night or two at The Venetian, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel for special bday trip in July 2017. My hubby and I chose it because it looked very romantic online. I have to say, we were underwhelmed. The hotel has a great facade and a big presence on the outside and the canal and shops looked great! The room and overall service experience was not that great however. I left the Venetian wishing I had spent the extra money on the Wynn/encore or the Bellagio. It was our first time in Vegas and we were told that celebrating a big day would definitely earn us some perks at the hotel. Wrong. They offered us an upgrade for a reduced price, which we didn't think was very reduced, so we declined. There was no other offer or bday acknowledgement of any kind! The room was clean and nice enough, but seemed dated and not to our taste. The bed was not very comfy. The casino also seemed dated, smoky and uninviting. We tried to get a gondola ride, but at $30/person for a 10 min ride, we decided to pass. Ugh. We ended up spending most of our time (and money) at The Wynn and the Bellagio. They actually offered $20 on our casino points cards as a bday gift, which is more than what the Venetian offered (nothing). Overall, it was a nice hotel on the outside, but very lacklustre on service, mediocre casino and bad late night snack options/restaurants on the casino floor. We did really enjoy the room service though, which was both quick and delicious! Loved Vegas and plan to return, but would not stay here again.
