Harrah's Hotel and Casino
- What's Included
First of all, if you love Venice in Italy like me then this is definitely your destination if you travel to Vegas. The rooms are indeed not rooms but suites. Very elegant, clean, big and just a great feeling to stay there. The bed reaches 5 star level. The resort overall is huge, great food choices weather you look for a premium dining experience, candlelight dinner or just a Burrito at the food court. You've got the choice inside! The pool deck is a great place to spend your day. What is very annoying is the fact that they do not offer umbrellas. This is awful given the fact that you stay in the desert and already in spring temperatures can reach 100 F. Renting fancy daybeds or cabanas actually enable you to get an umbrella but this can cost you more than the entire hotel room for a night.Anyway, back to the good things. The architecture is amazing and you could spend hours just looking at the ceilings. Also the grand canal shopping and restaurant area is very authentic. Its professional, clean, safe and made to feel comfortable. Same about the staff who is very friendly, helpful and know their job.I will stay there again on next Vegas trip for sure.
I am a coffee consumer in the morning. There are no coffee pots in the rooms. I called room service, 90 minutes to get coffee brought to the room ( and $20.00 minimum). So prepare to get up a lot earlier than need be (if you're working like I was ). Go downstairs, walk a bunch and pay $5 for a cup of coffee. It will take a long time. So annoying. The hotel says it's a suite room. No it's a big room with a bed, and walk down steps to a sitting area. No separate space with walls or doors as a suite usually has. It's $300 / night for a "suite". I checked in at 5:30. No room ready. What time is check in ? 4. We can give you a smoking room. Really ??? Just sad. Wait for a room to be ready at 5:30 ? And pre-paid $300. On the plus side, bed was comfy, room was clean. If you're stuck here for work like I was, it's simply okay.
I go to Vegas several times a year. My favourite hotels are Aria and Encore but the Venetian is a close 3rd. This was my first stay here. The sunken living room gives the perception the room is larger which makes a huge difference. Several tvs in the room and pretty quiet with good views. Would stay again.
Having visited Vegas regularly and stayed at many hotels. In my opinion this is the best place to stay on the strip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms are spacious, with modern furniture and huge screens. Great selections of restaurants, and bars. Dinner at Lavo on the Palazzo side, was amazing. Pool area is spacious with lots of loungers, drinks a little pricy, however they a very generous with the alcohol, no need to have too many. Overall a great place, will most definitely return.
My daughter was married in the Chapel at the Venetian Hotel. The staff was wonderful. Her wedding coordinator(Heather Curt) was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, She took care of everything. The reception at Bouchon was over the top, The food and service was better than I would have imagined serving 50 guests at once. I have very high compliments for the Venetian staff and facilities,
