Nothing special, overpriced

I stayed here recently for 2 nights. The room was a good size, but didn't really have any kind of view at all. All the dining options in the hotel are overpriced. Check-in took quite a long time. Even late check-out was expensive. I would definitely stay somewhere else if I returned to Las Vegas.

I'ts MGM Grand but the price is mid-range!

We were pleasantly surprised when we booked our room in this hotel. It cost us only 176$. We initially thought that we stay for just a night but decided to stay on for another night and the hotel charged us only 86$ for the second night! So good!Checking in was a breeze as they have many front desk counters. They have a staff dedicated to direct guests to the next available check in staff. Very efficient. We were assigned a room in the West Wing on the 17th floor. MGM Grand is pretty big and we got a bit lost on our way to our room! Friendly staff pointed us to thr right direction. The room we had was big! 2 queen sized beds and a baby cot (we requested for 1 as my 1 year old son was with us). Our room on the West Wing had a view of the Las Vegas airport - wow! That helped to keep my son's attention! This hotel is in a great location. It is like the beginning (Or the end) of Las Vegas strip. As you step into the streets - that's Last Vegas right at your doorstep! And because of the easy access you get to see Las Vegas by day and by night. 2 very different sights.Did not get to check out the restaurants and F&B outlets as we were just too busy outside. However, on the last day of our stay we had our breakfast at the foodcourt. Good offering at reasonable prices.

MGM Made Me a Believer!

I travel to Vegas often on business, but this was the first time I had ever stayed at the MGM Grand. It was the venue for the conference I was attending. I arrived quite late, and Tiane at the reception desk was very gracious and accommodating. She told me the room I was getting was a bit large, but I would enjoy it.Enjoy it I did! I learned that I was in the Skyline Marquis Suite - and it was absolutely fantastic! Since it had two bedrooms, I invited my colleague who was also traveling to stay in the "palace" with me. See the attached photos of the room - and the view.MGM is making its way to automating their rooms. This suite wasn't 100% automated; you still have to manually turn on/off each lamp (and there are many). The automated blinds for the 8-9 windows were one of my favorite features. The room had 4 TVs, two full bathrooms, and enough room to host a full-scale party. My only complaint is that there wasn't a coffee machine. That's rough when you get up early and want a quick cup o' jo.The MGM Grand resort was great. I liked it better than some of the other hotels I've stayed at. There were a lot of food and entertainment options (with multiple Starbucks throughout!). I didn't have time to enjoy the pool, but the pools looked fantastic. They told me it includes a lazy river.I will admit that I wasn't looking forward to staying at the MGM. But now that I've been there, it's moved to the top of my Vegas list. Thanks, MGM, for a great few days.

Good location, nice mid-range room

We chose the MGM based on its location this trip. We upgraded our room to a King. Avoid the west wing--we heard the rooms are tiny. There was construction going on in the hall next to our room. Broken water pipe. The staff was good about starting construction later in the morning. Around 11:00am. Housekeeping was good. I see people complain about the resort being too large. We felt it easy to get around from the MGM! The monorail is located downstairs, and NYNY is across the street. My feet felt better this trip than any other. The only issue we had was check-out from the tv and phone were disabled. They have kiosks downstairs for quick check-out. Stood in line for 5 minutes. I would return.

MGM Grand -- the staff make it GREAT!

It's the people that keep us coming back to the MGM Grand. Our day starts with huge smiles to start our day from Dhessa and Margarita T at the amazing buffet. Pixie and Tracey on the casino floor are amazing ...they take service excellence to a new level. We visit Vegas 3 sometimes 4 times a year for a week at a time and given the thousands and thousands of guests...they remember us every time! Countless other MGM staff have made our visits fun and stress free giving us the ability to enjoy VEGAS experience. The suites are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable.
