Our Opinion
A real 'Big Apple' feel, the NY-NY is good for families as well as adults, the Manhattan Roller coaster is a wild, heart stopping ride and the Coney Island arcade is full fun and exciting games. Lots of amenities and entertainment options.

Overview
New York New York brings you a piece of the 'Big Apple' right on the Las Vegas Strip. 12 inter-connecting towers shaped like the New York City skyline with a mini Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, this mega resort is arguably the most unique of all the hotels in Las Vegas. The fun and excitement starts at the Family entertainment centre that recreates the 'Coney Island' circa 1900's, complete with carnival games, bumper cars, and the 'Manhattan Express' rollercoaster reaching speeds of 65 mph!

Location: On the Strip across from the MGM Grand at the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd and next to the T-Mobile Arena.

Nice room

Nice clean room. Had a nice stay and enjoyed several of eating establishments in the hotel. Good location on south end of strip. Easy walking to nearby casinos. Valet service was exceptional and very friendly. Used mobile check in and out service. Went surprisingly smooth.

Great base to explore the Vegas!

We had the most fantastic holiday in Las Vegas and NYNY played a big part in this. Not the fanciest hotel on the strip but was was a great base, close to all the big famous hotels (all within walking distance) and lots of great restaurants and pubs. Also found the casino the most spacious and welcoming of them all with friendly staff. Highly recommend Chin Chins or Toms Urban for breakfast / snacks. The rooms were average but didn't spend much time in the room and for the price paid didn't expect 5star. Would def come back here!!

So glad we chose here!

We had 2 rooms for a family of 4 booked via booking.com. When we arrived, it seemed those 2 rooms were in 2 separate towers of the hotel, so our host at reception rearranged this immediately, which we were very grateful for. The rooms weren't brand new, but clean and comfortable. We loved the relaxed atmosphere of this hotel, it's vast restaurant choices and the quirky shops. We didn't play at the casinos, but enjoyed wandering through and soaking up the fun vibe without losing any money. The roller coaster looked fun and we enjoyed the pool- plenty of loungers to relax on. After looking through lots of hotels up and down the strip, this felt like a great choice for families, or couples, or groups, or anyone. It was perfect for us. After desperately trying to find a good coffee on our holiday in the states- we found it here at Il Fornaio restaurant, who also do a fabulous breakfast. If you want humongous food, try Americano next door. Our voracious teen only got halfway!

Adequate hotel, excellent service

Recently spent 4 nights here. Midrange price point hotel directly on the strip. Good location for walking the strip itself. Room was a great size and well put together. Comfortable beds and nice armoire for storage. Quiet from both outside noise and the neighbors. Bathroom was small and shower head while nice was at forehead height. Casino floor space is exactly as you would guess. Sadly still a full smoking area. Room was smoke free but the years of smoking have permeated most of the hotel. Food choices were wide and of good quality. My favorite bar in Vegas is here - 9 Fine Irishman. Prices have skyrocketed. A Guinness cost me almost $14.00 which is just silly. Zumanity is the hotel show and is outstanding for the adults but certainly not family friendly. Burlesque show, not just feats of beauty and strength. Great show. Pool area is fine. Nothing fancy but pleasent enough. No beach sand but nice area to relax. Overall a quite pleasent hotel that gets the job done but just isn't top tier (but also avoids the associated cost!). Don't forget to add the mandatory resort fee to your room cost to get the actual room cost before taxes. Added nearly $30/day to my room cost which if i hasn't known to expect would have been an ugly surprise.

Really, really special and memorable

This hotel oozes of the New York feel ... I'm more or less assuming the older more sedate New York but it has a flair at any rate. Steam wafts from manhole covers of cobblestone streets. There's a clicking/clacking sound from the roller coaster. There's a Jewish delicatessen, with matzo ball soup, chicken soup that would make any grandmother proud. There's a Nathan's hot dog stand selling a Coney dog. Accommodations are first rate. Service in all areas are impeccable. Can't wait to go back.
