Stayed 5 nights at NYNY. A really good hotel. Not central in the strip, but a 15 minutes walk to the likes of Bellagio and Caesar’s. Bus stop right outside and close to the monorail for Mandalay Bay/Luxor. A great mixture of bars and restaurants on site. Used the online check in when we arrived and it was very quick and easy. Only issue was the online check in didn’t say it was taking $1500 from my account as a pre-authorize. A very large sum of money to say the least. That hit my bank account straight away. Still waiting for it to be released back (4 days after departing) Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We had a room over looking the rollercoaster which although noisy it didn’t stop us from sleeping. We could hear the people the next room to us but again not a major issue. The rooms are a little dated and could do with a refurb. The bathroom needs an update but again only a small gripe. Overall a very pleasant stay. Smaller than some of the other hotels which we actually preferred as you could easily walk around it and not get lost amongst a maze of casinos and shops!!!! I would recommend it to friends but if I came back to Vegas again I’d stay somewhere else only so we got to experience another hotel.
Great hotel. Massive casino on lower floor. We loved the variety at the food court. Something for everyone at decent prices for a hotel on the strip. We found Sireocos to do the best pizza in Vegas!! Probably the best food court in Vegas !
Stayed here for 5 nights, a fab hotel the room was massive, on the 22nd floor, with a great view. The beds were really comfy, plenty of clothes hanging space, a lovely big bathroom, it was vey clean & was cleaned daily. The staff were all very helpful & friendly...a lovely pool...but could have had some umbrellas for some shade..it was very hot...would recommend....
First time in Vegas and stayed in new york new york for 3 nights. We were in the Chrysler building. Room was huge and bags comfy. Slightly worn but the view made up for that. The Casino is superb as is the little NY streets. Plenty of good food and lively pubs. Loved it!
The New York Hotel and Casino is one of the more attractive properties located on the strip. They did a nice job in capturing the feel of New York City both inside and outside of the property. The casino is kept clean and the property has a nice selection of bars, and restaurants to enjoy. A great experience was had by those in our group.
