Our Opinion
A real 'Big Apple' feel, the NY-NY is good for families as well as adults, the Manhattan Roller coaster is a wild, heart stopping ride and the Coney Island arcade is full fun and exciting games. Lots of amenities and entertainment options.

Overview
New York New York brings you a piece of the 'Big Apple' right on the Las Vegas Strip. 12 inter-connecting towers shaped like the New York City skyline with a mini Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, this mega resort is arguably the most unique of all the hotels in Las Vegas. The fun and excitement starts at the Family entertainment centre that recreates the 'Coney Island' circa 1900's, complete with carnival games, bumper cars, and the 'Manhattan Express' rollercoaster reaching speeds of 65 mph!

Location: On the Strip across from the MGM Grand at the intersection of Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd and next to the T-Mobile Arena.

No Complaints!

My mom & I stayed here for her 60th birthday, and we were pleased with our stay! After reading some of the terrible reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our room. It was really spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. We loved the "New York City" street and building facades in the casino, and there were some little cafes and stores, and a piano bar as well. We got a great deal, and while it's not a luxury hotel, we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Vegas!P.S. Don't forget to account for the $30 a day, resort fee. Not a huge deal since it's an affordable hotel, but something to remember!

Casino great, hotel not so great!

I have stayed at NY NY twice. This last visit in September, we stayed in a suite. The room was clean, but VERY outdated. Outdated to the point I wouldn't stay again. With that said, it's my favorite hotel for fun! I'm not a gambler, but love the NYNY Casino atmosphere! The bar in the middle and the piano bar are so much fun!!!! The dining and food options are good and Callaghers Steakhouse is phenomenal! If you want a great pool to hang out at, try the Mirage! If you want updated rooms, this hotel is not for you. If you want a fun place to stay with a great location on the strip and not picky about rooms, this is your hotel! Ps......the chair massages on the 2nd floor MGM walkway entrance of the NYNY, ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!

Parking makes it not worth it.

We usually come here for dinner before a show at the MGM. We love Gallagher's and Il Fornio. Tonight was no exception, dinner was great. But This was our first time coming here for a show at T Mobile and it will be our last. Waiting in long lines to pay for parking followed by another half hour just to drive out of the parking garage makes it not worth the effort. As locals we will be very particular on what we do on the strip now.

Average

To check in we had to stay in a line for 30 minutes...to actually be in the check in counter took also way too long time. The receptionist said they had so slow systems...I think I was at the counter for about 15 minutes. So it was a total of 45 minutes to check in. It was not much better to check out. The room was Clean and an ok bed, but no more. Nothing special. An average hotel on the strip. Close to the monorail. Just walk through the MGM and you are there.

1 Night Stay To See A Show

Booked a room here, going to the T-Mobile arena to see a show. Hotel is in walking distance. I booked early check it, when I called customer service about it, they asked about what time would I be arriving, said around noon time. They assured me a room would be ready by then and no need to pay for early check in. Arrived there, and no rooms were ready. Had to wait a few hours before getting the room I booked, Deluxe Madison Ave Strip View with King Bed. Had lunch, played slots, no text or email to say room was ready. Went to reception desk at 230PM, no rooms available. Then they found one, and it was the room type I booked. Room # 2048. Nice room, out the window you can see the strip, and the roller coaster. Took a nap, went out to show, a bit to eat, came back to room. The room thermostat was tricky to get set right, either too hot or too cold. Got it the way I wanted, and went to sleep. Woke up early, husband took shower and the water would not drain from shower fast, it was rather slow. When checking out, told reception, and they will take care of it. Will be staying there again in March.
