Paris Las Vegas
- What's Included
The Paris is a beautiful resort with any amenity you would want. The staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I would recommend this resort for anyone wanting to enjoy their stay and be pampered.
First impressions were great. We pulled up and greeted by a really helpful bellboy. They have a big car park onsite, we opted for self parking ($10 a night- valet is $18) At reception they will validate your ticket onto your room key so this acts as your access if you use your car while in Vegas. (We didn't need it- we used Uber to get downtown) From the car park its a LONG walk to reception! I would suggest not doing it with luggage! Its a bit of a maze- lots of shops, bars, casino, but eventually we found reception. The check in queue was HUGE! That didn't seem to change throughout our stay. You could check in online, but only if you had booked with the hotel direct. Everyone that tried the express machine check in failed and ended up queuing. This definitely needs improvement. There were not enough staff on the desks. Same for check out so make sure you leave enough time if you have a flight to catch or anything to rush for! Once at check in the lady was helpful. Offered an upgrade to a Bellagio Fountain view for $30 a night- we declined as we knew we wouldn't spend much time in the room. We had a smoking room on floor 27. (Warning- if you're a non smoker don't choose one of those rooms and you can pretty much smoke anywhere in Vegas! My partner smokes but was still a shock!) The room was great, had a fridge, large bed and sofa. We had a view of the Link big wheel. Bathroom was also nice and well equipped. Separate bath and shower. The Bellboy who bought us our bags again was helpful- giving dinner tips and other information. Housekeeping came all but one day (the day they didn't we had do not disturb on until lunchtime so we didn't expect them to). Did a very good job.We ate in the Hexx restaurant one night. Ask for a patio table as it overlooks the Bellagio fountains. Lovely food, both had steak which was perfectly cooked and great quality. It's not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Recommend eating here.We didn't eat in any other restaurants in the hotel (there are many!)We used the casino one night. You get free drinks (just pay tips) if you are gambling. All the staff were helpful. The pool is nice. Very big and a good temperature- great to cool off in! There is a pool bar. They give you pool towels if you show your room key. The location is one of the best things about this hotel! Right in the middle of the strip so you can walk to most places. It takes a while but places are walking distance! Perfect location to see the Bellagio Fountains, good reasonable priced restaurants nearby as well as shops for essentials. (Water, snacks, toiletries etc) Vegas itself:Would recommend going downtown to Freemont Street, its old Vegas- a little more relaxed. The zipline is also great fun. We did a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon- was amazing- definitely recommend. We booked via Viator before we went but there were deals to be had booking locally.5 o clock somewhere bar in Margaritaville have daily happy hour- $5 margaritas and nickel beers!! Prepare yourself for the Strip- its loud and gaudy and basically Vegas! Not the best place I've ever been but glad we've done it.
We stayed in a Red Room with an Eiffel Tower view. We were warned when we checked in that Eiffel view rooms tend to get noise from the nearby nightclub from Wed-Sat but we didn't really think much of it. Then when Wednesday came we realised that this noise is pretty unbearable. However, we explained the situation to the front desk and they were very accommodating and found us another room which didn't experience the noise. I have to point out though, that the first few nights we were there when the nightclub was closed were brilliant, and the room and the views were excellent.Overall the hotel is very nice and has some nice restaurants. The pool area is pretty good with a view of the Tower and no shortage of beds when we were there. The location is idea, situated about halfway down the strip so easy access to most the other hotels.
My mother and I were there recently with a friend. We've stayed at Paris on several occasions. Since I'm a TR rewards member, I get comp nights at any of their properties. We usually choose to stay at Paris because we feel that it is their best one, based on the rooms and the pool, which is large and heated with lots of shaded areas to lounge. The rooms are pretty large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and the location is good. The Deuce stops directly in front of the hotel, so it's easy to get around the Strip. It's also nice that you can step out of the front door and watch the Bellagio fountain. We usually visit several casinos while in Vegas; however, we spent a lot of time playing in the Paris casino this time. The machines don't pay very well, but they will keep you playing. We ended up losing in the end, but that's the case at most of the others as well. We did eat at a few of the dining venues. We tried the Café, the Buffet and the Pizza shop. Our friend spent her mornings having coffee and pastries at the pastry shop as well. All had delicious food. I also like the fact that there is a small shop near the room elevators where you can buy snacks and beverages to take up and keep in the mini fridge, which isn't very cold, but at least it's there. The newly renovated rooms also have coffee makers, which is also a plus. My only complaint is that the bathroom only has one hook way up at the top of the door, which is difficult to reach if you're not a tall person. There is a lack of towel bars, other than the one on the shower door. They need to provide at least one or two more bars or hooks. Other than that, it was a great stay and I'd certainly return and highly recommend it to others as well.
Bad enough what they charge you for a room but then $39.95 daily resort fee and $10 a day to park your car. Take the extra money and get a suite downtown at the Golden Gate. At least their toliet paper didn't come directly from the saw mill without the processing Also the pool is about 100 ft around and max 3.5 ft deep
