Beautiful Hotel Property

This is a Beautiful Hotel Property.. The room was spacious and have a nice Bathroom.. Big Casino.. In Room dining is bit expensive.. Very near to Red Rock Canyon... you must visit Red Rock if you are staying in this Property. Hotel location is not on the Strip, Its quite far like 15mins.. Overall very nice place to stay. Parking is free.. And the Hotel staff is very polite.. Loved my stay.

Very nice hotel

This was a very nice hotel; however, it is not on the strip. I enjoyed the movie theater, fitness center and food court. The front desk was very accommodating. About 20 minutes to the North end of the strip.

If you like to hike Red Rock Canyon here is the place to come stay and clean up after

Nice clean room, we had the Red Rock Canyon view from the 18th floor. I recommend getting a room number between 04 and 24 as you won't have a long walk to the elevator.Loved to watch the colors of the canyon change when the sun comes up. Great tub in the bathroom. One drawback is no coffee maker in the room. When you exit the hotel by way of the registration if you walk out to the left about a half block is the Andiron Restaurant , Very good food! Inside the Casino the Yard House is a good value. We spent New Years there for 3 nights. The air is stuffy in the hallways. Another drawback was the pool area was closed and we wanted to use the hot tubs.

Good Location, Good Resort away from the Strip

My husband and I visited Las Vegas for honeymoon and stayed at this resort for 7 days. The overall experience was good. By the time our flights arrived and we rented a car, and drove from airport to the resort it was past 9pm. Upon Check-in, the reservation desk personnel said that the Canyon view room that we had booked was not available for the night. So the lady arranged us in the Strip view room for 1 night, which was a good clean room towards the front of the resort. However, the Strip view was barely noticeable since it was quite distant. We were transferred to the requested Canyon view room on the upper floor. We stayed on 12th or 18th floor facing the canyon. While the Canyon view was not worth it after dark, the morning view made it worth it. There is a freeway between the resort and the Canyon, however, the view was unobstructed from the higher floors when we were enjoying morning coffee (there is no coffee maker like many other hotels, but it would have been good to have it). Canyon view room was large and very clean. The washroom was large and tastefully designed. The Canyon view room had floor to ceiling glass window which looked down onto Resort pools. It was off season in 1st week of Feb so there was no partying by the pool side when we stayed there and it was quite peaceful. The late morning sunshine was quite gentle, so we enjoyed sunbathing and hot tubs only sharing it with a 5-7 more people which was nothing for the size of the area. The facility was still well maintained for being out of season. The Feast Buffet brunches were delicious for being vegetarian/eggetarian with lots of options. But make sure to go there on time otherwise there can be long wait times. We had the vouchers for being hotel guests, so we did not have to wait in long line with locals and hotel guests were given priority line up line. The waiting staff were prompt and friendly. On the whole, the resort boasts several restaurant options and food court. Restaurants did not attract us on their vegetarian friendly menu; however, food court was a good option. The Red Rock Bowling alley which was good for a quiet evening at the resort. We loved the location of the resort; it was close to Downtown Summerlin mall, which was a great chillout spot after day trips out of the Las Vegas. Costco is just outside the resort, which can be great for grabbing quick food if you are tired of resort food. Lot of shopping and grocery stores nearby. The resort provided shuttle service in the package, but we had rented a car for 7 days to allow us to drive to nearby tourist spots and the Strip (~20 mins drive). The resort staff were prompt and the room service was good. Resort overall was very clean and felt safe at all times (Lot of people warned us in Canada before visiting Las Vegas, while I understand each city has its good and bad sides). One improvement would make this resort better would be better air circulation in public area near the Casino to get rid of the smoke, because not everyone can stand the smell of smoke - this kept me away from their Casino for the most part. We recommend this resort if you want to stay away from the Strip and be close to the freeways to exit the city quickly for day trips.

Very Happy - Loved It

This place is about 25 minutes dead west of the strip. We liked that because we wanted to be away from the crowd. About five minutes from red rock itself which was great. Good food and shopping within walking. Check in was fast, loved the room and the whole resort area. Staff was responsive and professional. Got a great room for about $86 a night. Taxes and resort fees nearly double this cost but was still a good value. Free valet parking helped take the sting out of resort fee. Non smoking room was smoke free no smell issue
