Very nice hotel. Extremely quiet. My first impression of the hotel was not great. i was traveling for business and checked in later in the evening - about 10 pm. the lobby and bar area were both totally empty. the woman who checked me in was basic friendly - she left half way through the check in process and was gone for at least 10 minutes. when she returned she told me they had overbooked the hotel and she was trying to get the manager - who was on the phone (?) to give me a room. i showed her my reservation code, provided other necessary information about my event, etc and was told the same thing. i offered to pay more for another room outside of the block and pressed for more information. she left again for several more minutes. another gentleman came out and asked if I needed help, shared my situation, and he left. finally they came back and gave me a room. it was very odd experience with limited information. Other not great experiences included my room service order forgotten, wake up calls not happening, and key cards not working - just not top notch service. They hotel might also consider investing in better beds. But I also had some great interactions with other hotel staff who were extremely helpful. the hotel just lacks consistency. hopefully it will get worked out and their service will reflect better on what is a very nicely presented property.
We stayed at this hotel for a week with kids. Don't love going anywhere in Vegas with children but this place was great. The restaurant options were plentiful with adjacent shopping available to cover any necessities- including Costco, Trader Joe's and Target. It was a very easy place to be for a week.
Please read this if you are a family going to stay here. The whole place is impressive, fantastic , pools, restaurants and room very clean and spacious . However this is not a family friendly place. No kettle in the room to make a cup of tea / coffee in the morning. You have to pay extra per day for a kettle. fridge and counter top stocked with hotel food and drink which charge you after moving anything after 45 seconds , so a nightmare if you have small children . Also no where to keep anything of your own cold as no fridge for you unless you pay extra per day for a separate one . The other problem we had was the massive lack of parasols around the pool area. There was only approxs 30 parasols for over 300 beds in the public area which meant you had to be there at 9am when it opened , on the dot otherwise no shade even then most had gone already. We asked the life guard what are we surposed to do to protect the kids , if theres a lack of parasols. He replied get a tan to my husband or hirer a day bed for £150 per day to get shade, not the response you expect from staff. All the private hire areas had loads of parasols per bed ratio. Over all this lack of family friendliness let this hotel down big time and the whole time you are there you feel you have to pay for everything.
This was our fav trip. There’s a shopping area in walking distance. (We rented a vehicle & drove). Lots of food options. Red Rock had excellent customer service. Everyone was so nice & helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel!! Their shuttle, to the strip, was convenient. We’re planning a trip back, in 2018.
this place is very lax and fun to hang out in as there are many things to do and plenty of places to eat. However i feel like the machines were a little tight as i lost a few hundred dollars. Would still recoemmend this hotel to anyone visiitng!
