The LINQ Hotel & Casino
- What's Included
No doubt this is the best location on the strip. Was debating between Harrah's, Bally's, Rio & Flamingo, when finally chose the Linq. The rooms looked ALL updated (Harrah's only some were) and it was the only one with a refrigerator. Check in was easy and requested a room w/decent view and not near the noise (from previous reviews). I was given a couple options. Ended up on the 11th floor, with a pool/promenade view. Room was nice, very clean, updated. My husband didnt like there was no dresser, but there is a built in shelving/closet that works just fine. However, they put the mini-fridge in the bottom of that (enclosed) which causes the air not to circulate, so the fridge was not cold. Once pulled out & door left open, it worked fine. There is a safe in the room too. Nice big shower, pressure not great, but was ok. Bed was comfortable, nice big screen tv. One drawback is there is no coffee pot in the room (I did not realize this when I booked). You can go downstairs and buy it at the Nook though. They should at least have free coffee in the lobby. The place is definitely confusing when trying to navigate from the parking garage to lobby and your room etc. We finally got the hang of it after a few days. We chose not to have maid service for the 4 days, but staff was very helpful and gave us extra towels and water when requested. Overall, I would recommend The Linq, as a good value and unbeatable location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
My lady loved this place!! So I have to agree with her a 100%!! Stayed many times in Vegas and never felt the urge to write about a place!! It was the room that made it... suite upgrade is a must!! Didn't mess around with the smaller room... so I can't speak about it though... it was good times. So if your trip is about the room.. stay here.. I know I will!! I will say that the restaurants that aren't there just yet...will make the place that much better. You would never leave!
our check in was smooth and they upgraded us to a "deluxe" room because it was an anniversary celebration. View was of lower rooftop airconditioning. Woke up on second day to a bathroom shower ceiling and walls covered with small crawling bugs. Hotel was very responsive and immediately moved us to another room on an other floor (again upgraded to equivalent of junior suite). Balance of stay was good, just constantly checking for more bugs. Hotel has made a partial refund on stay and issued certificate for additional night on them for next stay, so can not object to their responsiveness,
great location next to monorail, promenade and other casinos. room service was a little to quick in snagging the change we had laying around the room assuming it was a tip I guess. room walls are paper thin.
The room we stayed in was nice, comfortable and clean. The room service was excellent. The girls were on their game and very friendly. There are many options there for different foods to choose from. Lots to see, lots to do. Did not have to spend time in lines checking in or out on. The rates charged for the room was very reasonable and I was afraid it would not be up to what I was use to but to my surprise it was awesome. I would recommend it to anyone and on my return would go back.
