The LINQ Hotel & Casino
- What's Included
The LINQ is the old Imperial Palace. It has been done over from top to bottom and looks great from the front on he Vegas Strip. It is far nicer than the old IP mentioned, however inside it did not feel fresh and upscale as the boutique hotel casino it is trying to be. My room in District 3 which is far to the back was tiny and nothing special. It did surface for my short three day stay and it was clean. Maid staff seemed terrific. Not many eating choices but The Nook does make a good breakfast alternative. The location is great right across from Ceasers in the middle of the strip. If you get a great rate, such as 50 or less for the night that is fair. But remember the over 30 dollar new resort fee they add per night. This does not include valet parking which is 13 dollars plus tip each night you stay.. So I guess the resort fee is only for Internet, a shame if you ask me.The LINQ also has a nice walking area off the strip with stores and restaurants which is pretty nice. It ends at the giant ferries wheel which is cool. The LINQ is fine but could be better. Okay for short last minute getaway, but will not make you feel special.
I would compare the rooms to that of European style, minimalist but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in the rooms. The air conditioner gives you the option for just running the fan thereby giving white noise. Beds are very comfortable.
Very clean. Sparsely decorated but nice. Bathroom was beautiful. Pool was small --if you are going for the pool this is not the hotel for you. Hotel is in a good location on the strip I would go back.
This refurbished hotel on the strip is right across from Caesars in the middle of all the action . Comfortable rooms and pool area is nice. Lobby is very lound and smokey but it is Vegas right? My husband loved the car collection on the fifth floor. The promenade is great, lots of restaurants, bars and stores for and evening walk after seeing a show, for us, Elton John. We will return to this hotel again. Watch out for the resort fees about 23.00 a night, includes wifi.
Had an extra guest and was amazed that there was a bunk bed in the room ... like literally ... was the talk of the weekend but worked out perfectly... the room was great new futuristic look and had everything we needed.
